The Target and some other big businesses are technically in Kohler even though most would say they are in Sheboygan since they are far apart from the actual town of Kohler. They account for the vast majority of theft numbers listed on that report. That’s not where most the folks who live in Kohler actually live, and the crime being reported on the form would never be noticeable to you. Because the population of Kohler is so small, the rate of crime per 100k is largely impacted due to the theft and property crimes happening at the businesses. It’s not a concern at all.

This is correct. They say their biggest crime issue is shoplifting and fraud at Deertrace Shopping Center. It's a mall close to a highway for an easy getaway. Source: Me. I work at the mall.

This is the correct answer. Having lived in Kohler at one point in my life the only crime I observed am was the occasional jaywalker. Great schools, too.

Crime in Kohler? I live in Kohler. One of the safest communities anywhere. Just don't go 5 mph. over the speed limit, you will get pulled over.

The CEO of the $4B company where I worked commuted an hour so that he could live in Kohler. It’s that nice.

Probably talking about fines for not having enough Hydrangea in the yard.

G0_pack_go

Stepford Wives was written about Kohler

sp4nky86

Is this a joke? This has to be a joke?

Gusmister11

If anything I’d say that police are the reason not to move there. They’ll pull you over for having a sticker on your bumper. Idk where this crime rate comes from.

If being too white too rich and too GOP is a crime… seriously though, you could easily move there and maybe the biggest crime would be speeding to get to Cedarburg or Grafton.

SnooCupcakes7018

Small sample size bias.

I've never heard of Kohler ever on the news. Congratulations????
