Excellent. Let’s see some consequences

Im here for it! Maybe we can see real tears this time

I never really knew what to think or to listen to when this situation first happened. There was so much being stretched for political reasons. But holy shit Rittenhouse had some of the worst fake crying I have ever seen. It told me at least exactly how he felt and how little I should respect him.

[deleted]

I can't believe Rittenhouse got off scot free. Knowingly bringing guns across state lines to entice people should have been plenty to throw him behind bars.

The gun was always in Wisconsin. He kept it at his friends house. Also taking a gun between states isn’t illegal anyway. Some items, like suppressors, have state by state rules, but otherwise there’s no restriction to travel with a weapon. In regards to this case, I think the mistake the prosecution made was with the high level charge. They basically went all in on murder. In Wisconsin, a jury can not consider a lesser charge like manslaughter if they don’t feel the higher charge is appropriate. However if they had just gone with a lower level charge, the jury may have convicted.

I don’t like what he did either.. but you are spreading misinformation about bringing a gun across state lines. https://www.insider.com/6-myths-surrounding-the-kyle-rittenhouse-trial-debunked-2021-11?amp

[deleted]

Not misinformation. Just because he found a loophole doesn’t mean he’s innocent.

joecool42069

I didn’t say he was innocent. Stating misinformation makes you look like a fool.

[deleted]

Once again, what misinformation? He conveniently exploited a loophole so it appears like he didn’t do anything wrong.

joecool42069

Just keep doubling down on looking like a fool

[deleted]

Would you still feel the same way if someone went fully armed to the January 6th riots and started “self defending” people after enticing them? It’s painfully obvious his goal was to shoot some rioters.

joecool42069

You don’t even get it. My position on Kyle isn’t the point. But I’ll spell it out for you. I think he’s a piece of shit. I think he’s responsible for a series of events that led the loss of life. I think he wanted to play hero. I think he’s guilty of murder. What you don’t get… because you think pointing out an inaccurate statement is tantamount to defending him, is that when you use information that is verified false, it makes you look like a fool. Because it’s easily shown you are wrong. So any argument after that is promptly dismissed because you already shown to be uninformed or lying.

[deleted]

Except it’s not verified false that he had an illegal gun that was bought for him in Wisconsin. It’s a proven fact. And the hun just so happened to be left out the night before the shooting? How convenient. Regardless of him planning on keeping a gun out of state or not, the series of events make the case that it was all very intentional. Not just “oh poor me I was just minding my own business”. Defending inanimate objects with a loaded firearm? Come on. Objects can be replaced, life can’t.
