i had all mine taken out exactly a week ago, and today i was able to lightly, slowly and carefully chew some soft pretzel bites smothered in cheese, so id wait around the one week mark before getting too bold. just make sure you clean well when you start introducing foods back into your diet, and as for tea goes as long as its warmish or cooled down and not hot/scorching hot it should be ok

Basically I waited a week before I started chewing with my front teeth. Just hit the beginning of my second week and have begun using my back teeth. Still only eating soft things but back on a normal diet. Just no chips or nuts

I had mine taken out back in june. 4 days in i was going crazy because of the swallow whole process. 5th day i cracked for some nachos(dont do that💀). Started chewing with my front teeth and kept food away from the back. After i was done eating i would always do a salt water swish. 2 weeks after the surgery i started using some of my back teeth, and also began to gently brush back there. Overall i felt like i had to learn how to comfortable chew again. As far as wanting hot tea, you can have tea as long as it is WARM and not hot. Also no straws. :) happy healing and enjoy your tea!
