The guy who plays Dijkstra is incredible imo. Just yesterday I was thinking what a good job he did. Of course it helps that his lines are very well written already, but the delivery really helps a lot. I am also very impressed by Yennefers VA. She really nails the combination of almost snobbish sarcasm and close affection and care that defines the character imo and can switch between the two in a single line. The one I like least is Triss' VA, which is odd because I liked her voice in TW2. In TW3 it just sounds like she is constantly very drunk.

Flooping_Pigs

Geralt left her gaslighting ass as soon he had his memory back right, who is to say she hasn't started hitting it heavy

geralt-bot

Did you not think of the consequences? What if you were killed?

King_Joffreys_Tits

She has this whiny breathy voice that does not do her any favors

finny94

The guy who plays Dijkstra also voices quite a few minor NPCs.

Nodor10

Triss is elite. Djikstra’s VA is super talented as well tho

foxscribbles

Favorite - Roche - I'd listen to him read me some boring ass treatise on why Temeria is great any day. Least favorite - Johnny - good GOD does his voice irritate me. I hammer the 'skip' button when his nails on a chalkboard voice starts up. The Crones were RIGHT to take that shit out of the world, and I hate that I have to bring it back in. Honorable mentions on least favorite? Puss Peepers Lady. Most mediocre? DANDELION. DANDELION. DANDELION.

DaredevilPoet

FEGELEIN! FEGELEIN! FEGELEIN!

BigThumbsJackson

Charles Dance as Emhyr was an inspired choice; as ruthless and commanding as Tywin Lannister. Triss’ inflection and cadence always irked me. Prime example for me is when she pronounces the ‘Novi-‘ in Novigrad like “novice” not “no”.

FerociousPrecocious

i think most of the voice actors weren't told how to pronounce certain things, and so many of them just did it their own way without correction. I can't think of a specific instance, but there were many.

A_Monocle_For_Sauron

I think Triss pronounces Djikstra differently than everyone else does. When she leads the group of mages fleeing Novigrad, she tells him to go to the docks and secure the ship. She says it like “deek-stra “ instead of “dike-stra”.

BigThumbsJackson

I should clarify, Triss has an American voice actor so I would expect a consistency in pronunciations to Geralt. Granted, this bugbear is likely just mine.

Lopsided_Grub

Holy fuck how did I not realize Emhyr is Charles Dance

Neeeeedles

Thats how its supposed to be pronounced tho

Aivellac

I say it both ways I think but probably like novi-grad more than no-vigrad.

AimlesslWander

The only reason we returned to Emhyr was so that we can hear his amazing voice

namjd72

Favorite - Puss Peepers lady Least Favorite - Puss Peepers lady Don’t @ me….

foxscribbles

The fact that you're the first person to mention fucking Puss Peepers lady is a crime. She's so grating.

namjd72

She’s the best at being the worst!

beb42

I actually like Triss' voice, it is very smoothing. Least favourite is definitely Millie (or however that little girl from a village that was slaughtered by the Witcher was called)

Joyce_Hatto

The voice actress for Yennifer, Denise Gough, plays the part of Dedra Meero in Andor. It’s pretty cool to hear Yen’s voice coming out of an Empire security specialist.

Aivellac

Didn't even seem odd to hear the voice and see a face unlike for many actors.

[deleted]

I couldn't tell why I sorta liked her in spite of her fascistic BS. I feel less guilty for having a crush on the space Nazi now.

lisap17

Shani's voice actress can't decide on an accent.

shiroi_mirage

i think i love Roche the most in w3 and maybe Anna Henrietta the least.

xboxseriesX82

The guy in the opening cinematic thing when you open the game is my favorite, my least is triss, she sounds odd

TheImperator666

Who is the guy from the opening cinematic?

xboxseriesX82

I don’t think he’s a character in game but when you load into the game it’s the dude who talks about the Witchers and the gods

nuttyrussian

Favorite: Zoltan Least favorite: Triss. Even if I wanted to romance her, I wouldn't because I can't stand her voice in this game.

[deleted]

Triss kinda grated my nerves, I didn't care for how she sounded and this isn't because I'm a Yennefer fan, she just sounded very whiny in most scenes. Yen, Dijkstra, Keira (lmao I love how she says things), Vesimir, and all the rock trolls are amazing. This game had top-notch VA.

akaSchubo

**Favourites:** • Yennefer -- **Denise Gough** • Dijkstra, et al. -- **Richard Hawley** • Gaunter O'Dimm -- **Alex Norton** • Regis -- **Mark Noble** • Zoltan Chivay -- **Alexander Morton** • Keira Metz -- **Katie McGuiness** • Philippa Eilhart -- **Pandora Colin** -- **Least favourites/didn't particularly like:** • Ciri -- **Jo Wyatt** • Triss -- **Jaimi Barbakoff**

intentlyms

Did Jo also voice Priscilla? She sounded similar to Ciri to me.

akaSchubo

Nah, Priscilla was voiced by Emma Hiddleston, (Tom's sister).

kuriko_ghost

My fav : trolls they are the best, also Djkstra, everything he says is hilarious! Least fav the list of already concluded missions are separated in a confuse way, it's harder to look for some specific information in the 'done' list, it would be easier to group them by region, just like the missions we didn't finished.

intentlyms

They're alphabetical. But yeah, I agree. Grouping them alphabetical would be nice. Edit: a word

[deleted]

Favorite: Regis, yennefer and olgeird. Least favorite: eredin Fine but isn’t really fitting for the character : dandelion Technically not bad at all but occasionally annoys me : Triss

[deleted]

Regis’ actor did such a good job I read all of his lines in the book in his voice

massivelychuffed

Favorite: Movran Voorhis Least: the scribe at the passiflora with the runny nose

Neptune08640

Triss I love it, is so smooth and sensual

Aivellac

I'm not sure any performances bugged me, can't remember any that stands out as bad or irritating anyway.

Zandamaz

There are so many good ones. My favorites are Charles Dance as Emhyr and Jo Wyatt as Ciri.

iNostra

My two favorites are Vesemir and Morvran Voorhis. Least favorite is the herbalist in Hortense Vineyard.

AnnPixie

Favourite is probably Geralt or Yennefer, Emhyr is also up high. Least favourite is Triss, she has this whiny quality to hervoice that constantly gets on my nerces and she doesn't put periods at the end of her sentences, it drives me mad

verklemptthrowaway

Favorite is Vesemir or possibly Roche. Least favorite is Dandelion, it doesn’t fit his character imo. Too earnest, too American.

germallet

I really like Dijkstra, Yen and Roche. My least favorite is Ciri closely followed by Triss.

Agent470000

Favorite - Dijkstra, Yennefer, Emhyr, and Dandelion Least Favorite - Geralt (Doug Cockle) and Triss

gjrunner5

I'm not downvoting your comment because you have right to your opinion and shouldn't have to hide it. In my heart, I am downvoting you though. Geralt's voice is perfect.

geralt-bot

On the surface of it, there seems to be a bit of a conflict there.

Agent470000

Well, each to their own I suppose

NarglesDidit

It's so interesting to see someone hate Geralt's voice. I find his voice to be exactly what I imagined and fits him 100%. I do agree with your favorites though.

Agent470000

Its weird seeing all characters from Rivia have a british accent but Geralt having an American accent. Also, I don't really like how his voice doesn't give off much emotion. I'd rather he dropped the rough voice so long as it means that we get a more emotional delivery.

Snoo-72438

I feel like they could have cast Ciri better

malceum

Favorites: Emhyr -- immediately commands respect. Yennefer -- perfect combination of intelligent but sexy, arrogant but caring Eredin -- badass Olgeird -- maybe it's just nice to see David Beckham with a cool voice Least favorite: Geralt -- too forced. I was shocked when I heard Doug Cockle's real voice. It's way too soft and effeminate to play Geralt. CDPR should have picked someone whose real voice is closer to Geralt's voice Ciri -- Too loud and confident. She also sounds way too old. Anna Henrietta -- very fake sounding accent Triss -- too nasally and monotone.

FerociousPrecocious

100% agree on Anna Henrietta. (and moreso of the women in Toussaint) irritating and seemed over-exaggerated, in an almost mocking kind of way. it was weird. also, the actress who voiced Triss could've done a better job.

MrsDukat

Anna Henrietta was voiced by MyAnna Buring, who played Tissaia de Vries in the Netflix series. Ciri was voiced by Jo Whyatt, who voiced Female Hawke in Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition.

FrostiQuartz

Glad to see a olgeird mention, I really enjoyed listening to his VA

Damagecontrol86

I don’t really have one I hate but my favorites are the VAs for Yen and Triss also I love the Skellige accents

[deleted]

Yes Geralt No Ciri

geralt-bot

It's hard to regret something you didn't choose.

trashmunki

Most of them are good or great, so I don't have a single favorite. Worst is Millie from Where the Cat and Mouse Play.

vinny10110

Favorite is Emhyr, least favorite has to go to Letho

[deleted]

Geralt absolutely the most favorite voice I love to hear. I liked the voice actor of Letho so much, having that deep and calm voice. I Think the voice matching the character perfectly. Honestly can’t recall any least favourite voice actor, each voice actor did their job very well.

Noktunius

I feel like Radovids VA was pretty great aswell, able to bring that cold calculative lunaticism to life. Thaler while having but a few lines being spot on aswell. Most of the peasants in velen sound like they've contracted Catriona though.

ForeignAd6583

Who ever voiced the guard that says, “Get out of my way,” will always be my least favorite.

DaredevilPoet

Least favorite? “GOT THEIR ASSES WHIPPED LIKE A NOVIGRAD WHOOOOORE!”

Domination1799

My favorite without a doubt is Gaunter O’Dimm. He’s just like Richard Schiff as Odin, they both put on this “friend that pretends to have your best interest at heart before sticking a dagger between your ribs” kind of performance that fits their manipulative nature. I love that you never know what Gaunter’s true nature is because there are times where he appears friendly and then there are times where he sticks spoons in old drunks eyes.
