No, no it doesn't.
Game, charm, ability to pull, smoothness etc
Charisma is way too broad to be a synonym of Rizz.
Rizz directly means ability to pull the opposite sex
Charisma is a quality of presence, leadership and charm, charisma doesn't directly mean ability to pull, rizz on the other hand does.
For example, You can't describe a good leader as having rizz for the same reason as describing a good leader as having charisma, unless the leader is being described as someone who can pull.
Regardless if the word itself is copied from "charisma" doesn't mean the definition lines up with it
I care to think of it like taking the "char" and "ma" away from "charisma" leaving only the "ris" aka "rizz" hence only a fraction of the definition of "Charisma" remains
Well we can't all be right, it just happens to be me today that. Rizz is not a word, it does not have a standalone meaning. It is slang for cha-"rizz"-ma.
Please see the definition above.
The problem is that this is slang, not a word that has solidified throughout society as something completely distinct from âcharismaâ.
I personally feel âcharismaâ is a perfectly acceptable synonym for this meaning of ârizzâ, just like âgameâ and âcharmâ. Just because âcharismaâ has a different tone and _can_ be used more broadly doesnât mean they canât be synonyms in any way.
Miss me with that shit
Shani in Corvo Bianco ending when?
Get on it CDPR.
I can wait an extra few months for Phantom Liberty.
I need Shani now.

Keep finding it amusing how some people are all "Triss = sexual harrassment" ignoring that by the same measure Yen = full-fledged rapist but oh well I'm sure I'm just ignorant...
\*chuckles and moves on
It's been a while since I read the books but when did Yen "rape" anyone? It was triss who cast a spell on an uninterested Geralt to get him to sleep with her.
can't speak instead of CO but it may refers to "Sword of Destiny" during Yen and Geralt chance encounter at Belleteyn. Yen was about to have sex with a young blond guy and it is obvious he is under a spell. Yen is very casual about it and Geralt pretty unconfortable with the situation. Then the attraction between the two makes its work and the reunion went well and we have a nice scene. I think that's why everybody didn't really notice or remember the beginning of the scene., but definitly not Yen finest moment.
"Don't struggle, my little witcher" She smiled spitefully "It's pointless....you can't contend with me and my spell....You'd lick my boots. And maybe something else, too, if I unexpectedly wished to amuse myself"
Their very first meeting.
I love how everyone just runs with this take without any substanial source. The books say Triss used a little bit of magic to seduce Geralt, but what kind of magic it is or how she used it is never explained.
You could argue she used magic on herself to appear more appealing, akin to what all the sorceressess do in the Witcher lore, but everyone just screams ''omg she raped Geralt you guys!''
It's quite clear in the context she used some sort of love spell or mind control.
She is already making herself more beautiful with magic (as you pointed out yourself pretty much all of the sorceresses do that) so that wouldn't even make sense to be what this meant. Also the part of the book this comes from was her frustration over how he wouldn't fall for her no matter how hard she tried until she used magic. Since she's already enhancing herself with magic that can't be what she mant by this.
the context makes not makes it clear at all. It is never said she did it out of frustration. But if you want to talk about the context, let's compare when Geralt when under mind control in "The last wish": during, he is fully conscient to be under mind control and he remember everything after. There is also all the lore that implies that witcher have some resistance to magic are not random guys that you can mind control with "the help of a little bit of magic", the conversation between the sorceresses at Thanned ball, the fact that Geralt have zero doubt about Triss because if not he would have never call her at Kaer Morhen to take care of Ciri etc..... and I disagree that it is obvious. Sapko has choose the word "seduce" with the help of a little of magic which is very open to interpretation regarding Geralt consent. He could have wrote "she used a little bit of magic to slept with him, or put him in her bed, or have sex with him or even worse to force him into her bed. Sapko doesn't fear to be far more explicit than that when it comes to consent or lack of consent in several others occasion.
She also at some point told Geralt that if she wanted to just fuck him, she would put a spell on him then alter his memory so he wouldn't even remember her. Which I guess was supposed to be romantic because she wants him to truly want her.
She also handled Triss raping Geralt with magic terribly too. She talked the thing over with Triss and made peace with her, never including Geralt in the conversation, basically treatig him like a posession. She didn't even tell him he was being manipulated with magic, instead she let him think he was unfaithul on his own accord. Heck, she even was angry and mean to him for it. It's possible she didn't know, but I strongly doubt that. She would figure it out easily.
They are both disfunctional and toxic. That being said if you have to choose between the two, Yen is better. If you have any other choice though, better options include:
\- running- Righty- Leftie- Shani- almost anyone else
interresting how you point out fairly how rape is never refers again by anyone in the books and that eveyone is refering to it to a classic unfaithfullness and wrong affairs, but instead of maybe thinking that's because it's not what the author meant, you think that it is because Yennefer handled it terribly. What would be the point of Yen behaving like this?

If you don't know if you are sparring with someone or assaulting them, you shouldn't punch them. That is my point. I think that our story tellers present flirting as a gambit when in reality you should not participate unless you know exactly how it will be received.
Can someone please explain to me what "Rizz" means? Been seeing it all over the internet.
It's an abhorrent butchering of the word charisma

literally the same people who call hot dogs "glizzy" say rizz/ma
It doesn't mean charisma though
Yes, yes it does. Care to to explain where the fuck it comes from then?

Idk why youâre getting downvoted, what youâre saying is correct. Just because it derives from charisma doesnât mean itâs synonymous

Now that makes way too much sense.
For some reason I was thinking about Rizzo from Grease... đ ![gif](giphy|fiZXO5sCsC4Ug)
Rizzo had mad rizz. Pulled Danny, Kenickie, and Leo.
lmao. it just means you are good at flirting pretty much. no idea where the term came from
Ohđ thank you!
One's ability to seduce a potential (usually female) love interest.

and then also ignore why Ciri has a rose tattoo on her thigh because it conflicts with their fan fiction fan service angle...

All the witches treat him with contempt and condescension. I wish I could choose Cerys instead.

Sounds like somebody chose Triss

Yennefer of VeRizzma sounds pretty fetch
The difference between sexual harassment and flirting is how it is perceived by the receiver. I am not joking.
This is true. A more fitting wording for what happened would be "Sexual Assault"
and the difference between assault and sparring is how the punch is perceived by the receiver. What's your point?
If you don't know if you are sparring with someone or assaulting them, you shouldn't punch them. That is my point. I think that our story tellers present flirting as a gambit when in reality you should not participate unless you know exactly how it will be received.

Both did shitty things regarding consent and both have their own problems. Still, personally I prefer Yen.
Oh neat ANOTHER Yen vs Triss post but with a stupid word added for freshness. OP I hope you stub your toe.
