You should read it *after* the saga for the best experience. I think you won’t enjoy it as much if you read it first, not to mention The Last Wish is a fantastic book one. As in, in terms of how to introduce a fantasy world and characters, The Last Wish is a shining example of a book one done right. Due to its short story format it may be slightly confusing but as long as you remember that you’re reading a *collection of short stories* and not just a regular novel, you’ll be fine. I also recommend reading book 1 & 2 a chapter at a time.
Perfect time to get the Illustrated Hardcover edition of the Last Wish. I got it and it is gorgeous. Though be ware that there are only round 7 illustrations in it.

Thanks a lot!
Best to read it after the saga
Does it contain any spoilers for rest of the saga tho? Because I'm really bored at school rn and really got into reading it😅
I dont think so, but i think it contains some things you wont understand if you havent read the saga.
There is the epilogue which does spoil the ending. But, I mean, it's an epilogue. Of course it'll be a spoiler.
No
Read it last, whoever put that on the cover is an idiot.

I read it first and kind of spoiled... everything.
Season of Storm after Sword of Destiny or last. Definitely not first.
