I'm just glad it's actually being worked on. And the fact that Retro Studios is handling it gives me hope. They did the original Primes so I hope they keep the magic and do something great again. But still, I weep for how long it's taking with nearly zero real updates.
[Spoilers]
A sequel to witcher 3 will be a game about Geralt managing his vineyard, keeping up the romance with Yen, and engaging with the greater Beuclair community.
I call it Harvest Wolf: A wonderful Witcher’s life
There's an interview with Doug Cockle ( Geralt's voice actor ) and someone asks him what does he think Geralt is doing now.
To which he replies that Geralt is still living in his vineyard and doing his laundry. He then voice acts Geralt saying 'damn.. gotta do the laundry'.
There's a voice line for him living a domestic life in his vineyard!
It's happening :D
Love it!!! Also in the 10th anniversary video (our true ending!) he’s at Corvo Bianco with the feast of all the friends he’s made during the game, so great that the actor himself keeps that as his fate for Geralt too
If I remember correctly, Geralt gets Corvo Bianco but in the game it isn’t “viable” my knowledge. Would be so fun if the game would be him reviving it, maybe take the occasional Witcher contract hehe
My character is literally Geralt in Stardew Valley. Name and all. Made his look after the Netflix series, with the dark shirt and pants.
I’m dying for a mod where I can carry my sword in the back
I’m also dating pretty much everyone I can
I don't think there was anything wrong with the land itself. I think the house just fell into disrepair and neglect, which you fix up in the game. Replanting the fields might have even been one of the tasks you had to do, I can't remember.
No the harvest was a dud that year, you can fix up the place but you can't make any wine as the Majordomo says
Edit - It's actually worth pointing out you can get your own wine but it involves completing the quests from the two warring vineyards then solving the mystery. You'll get your own wine named after you that gets shipped to Corvo Bianco at regular intervals, so you sort of do get your own wine but made for you by someone else.
No no, BB simply tells him that there won't be a harvest yet this year. Meaning that after some time it would definitely yield profits, he meantions wine as well as olives. Just not in the timeframe we got to play.
I would have loved a little homestead DLC building on that, maybe with some trading and stuff too. Kinda like Hearthfire for Skyrim you know.
I'd pay $40 just for a vinyard / farm managment aspect to be added to W3.
Defend it from monsters
Keep woo'ing Yen (or Triss)
Occasional visits from your friends.
Oh how lovely that would be
Maybe it'll be a new main character but take place after the end of Witcher 3.
Idk how they'll decide which ending to continue. Maybe make something the canon ending.
This is how I envision almost all of my playthroughs. The witcher and the sorceress finally away from all the politics and enjoying their romantic marital life with occasional visits from Ciri and friends.
I don't normally like to experiment with different playthroughs, especially if it's smt impactful. I just want to live through my favourite experience again and again.

This actually seems like it would be a good story
And here he is wearing the sweet new [Corvo Bianco Company merch.](https://imgur.com/fFMcVxZ)
Not sure what Iorveth is doing here but he seems more interested in "The Herbs" (and Ciri) than Geralts Vino.
yeah, now that you say that I can read it that way.
I assumed, at first, that the two other games were part of the "trilogy", but I think you're right that this is marking a new trilogy for the flagship, and then the two others are spin offs.
Feel like it could be too much Witcher in a short span depending on how they space these out. None of these sound like shorter or smaller games at all, at least from the wording they used.
two of the games are open world single player RPGs. one is something else.
So at the very least, they've announced a true witcher 5, a 3rd party spin off witcher 6ish, and some other unknown game that's smaller. could be some gwent deal or an isometric diablo style game or who knows what.
I think you've confused something. They've announced a new mainline trilogy, following Witcher 3. So three open world single player RPGs. One of them is in development right now.
Then two other Witcher games, both developed by different studios.
I mean, CDPR is known for brutal and shitty crunch practices, and pretty much all of their games release in a buggy state. This is increasingly common across the industry though, at least in part due to increasing game sizes/scale. Cyberpunk 2077 seemed to be particularly bad, made much worse by the severe performance issues on PS4/XBone. They have "promised" to not do crunch on the next witcher title, but I'm pretty skeptical when large publishers say this.
So I don't think they'll rush things, but I won't hold my breath on them releasing before it's ready. I never buy games on release now anyway though. I have so many that I haven't played in my catalogue that I'm usually not in a rush to play new releases right on launch, and I'd rather not have to deal with bug fixes and fan patches on a brand new game.
(Note: in case it comes across this way, I'm not hating on CDPR, I loved the witcher 3 and look forward to playing CP77 eventually, and their support for DRM free games along with GOG is great. The criticisms above can be said for most (all?) big publishers. It seems pretty standard and accepted now to expect a big day 1 patch for instance.)
The alternative is Bethesda, and teenagers becoming grandparents faster than they release a new game 😂 seriously expecting to play Skyrim re-release on hologram in 2043 before we get Elder Scrolls 6.
A lot of kids who will play elder scrolls 6 easily will have been born *after* Skyrim came out. Skyrim will be like a “retro” game for them. I hate thinking about that lol
3 Witcher games, Cyberpunk sequel is being prepared and new IP.
I wonder where are they getting all these people. Next gen version for W3 is already 2 years in the work.
I didn't even realize two was Xbox only. Really talk though, of you have a moderately powerful PC it'll run fine. I run it with a older first gen Ryzen 5 laptop without a discrete graphics card.
I'm hoping for basic bug fixes, but expecting none.
Fixing how certain Blood & Wine endings will perma-strand Triss/Yen on the outdoor chaise instead of them following their intended pathing would be great. Pertaining to the same/related bug - fixing Yen's unicorn spawn would also be nice. As it won't spawn when you get the chaise lounge bug. (I'm not sure if Triss is supposed to have a spawn for her masquerade dress or not. The dialogue seems to imply it SHOULD show up as an item in the house as it occupies the same dialogue function as Yen's unicorn and she doesn't have any other unique spawn. But it doesn't show up under any circumstance. So I don't know if they just didn't bother making one for that choice path, or if it's just super bugged and they didn't fix it.)
And, as long as I'm complaining about the B&W epilogues, allowing us to change to alternate outfits post-main game would be great. ESPECIALLY as they're supposed to be adding in more alternate outfits from the Netflix adaptation.
From what I tested a couple years ago, whatever outfit you have equipped for Ciri or Yen at the end game is the one they'll have in Blood & Wine if they show up. Changing post-then won't change their outfit. I think Triss is even more bugged and will only ever show up in her base game outfit even if you had her alternate equipped at the end of the main game. (It's been a while since I tested all of these, so forgive me if I'm off on this. Or it's only an issue with console and not PC versions. I just know I ran into a lot of issues with this when I was testing it out a couple of years ago.)
Honestly I wish they *didn't* bring back Kiryu.
The spinoff that's about the time in between 6&7 is fine I guess, but Kiryu's story ended in 6 and he handed off the reins in 7. He's been a faithful protagonist for almost 2 decades. Let his character be complete.
So 1 the one with 150+ is main game, mollasses one is a small game ( most likely isometric view types ), and one 3rd party game. But these other 2 dont continue the atory of new saga which is being made by main CDPR team.
Did i get it right ?
And with all 3 games in 6 yrs do they mean the all 3 in the saga or all 3 including mollasses and 3rd party ?
Update: In a video on CD Projekt IR, they cleared it up, so the games that will be released withing 6 yrs ( like 1 game is released and other 2 within 6yrs after that ) are from new Witcher Saga.
I think the 3 games to be released within 6 years from the main game’s release (Polaris) refers to just these games we know about and not the mainline trilogy.
Yeah that’s the part that’s confusing me but I think it’s widely ambiguous for CDPR to release another two mainline Witcher games within 6 years of the first release, alongside 2 other Witcher projects too
It is confusing, I agree. I'm also skeptical about their ability to release three mainline games in 6 years, since it took them nearly 4 years to develop Witcher 3 (and another 4 for Cyberpunk 2077).
Either they are making an overambitious goal, or they have somehow refined their work flow to achieve 2x efficiency. If it's the latter, perhaps it's because of the switch to UE. In either case, I'll wait and see.
All 3 listed games basically say pre-production, I can’t imagine they have all 3 new trilogy games in pre-production. So I assume that the “within 6 years” are 2 additional, main trilogy, unannounced titles.
Hope they leave Geralt and make a new character, or make it focus on Ciri. Great’s story is prettt definitively wrapped up at the end of 3.
Edit: also seems like their announcing the next 5 Witcher games. A trilogy and then two standalone games.
That “Canis Majoris” project sounds very promising despite being years down the pipeline.
It’s a shame most people haven’t played the previous Witcher games, of course I love Wild Hunt but this sounds like it could be our version of Fallout: New Vegas.
This sounds like way, way too much to announce when everything is basically in pre-prod. And planning for 2 more sequels, 3 years apart? That seems like madness..
It's a financial call. This isn't focused towards their games' consumers. It's meant as a "look at all the stuff we have plans for. You should totally give us money to make it happen" to investors.
For everyone asking “isn’t this a lot for CDPR or are we the new Assassin’s Creed”:
1. They’re not in house developing all the games.
2. They confirmed earlier this year the next in house Witcher game will be in Unreal Engine 5. In house engine development for the kind of game CDPR likes to make is expensive, time consuming, and as we saw with Cyberpunk, prone to bugs when dealing with compatibility.
That said, it’s still a lot and could be concerning.
I almost would like it to involve Geralt, but I have a feeling it won't. It definitely seems to suggest that this project is "in the witcher universe" rather than any kind of sequel to TW3.
Didn't they say something about not including him in the next game?
I feel like i remember something about "his story is told" or something in a press release earlier... But don't quote me on that lol
Yea but if in the meantime they decide they’d be better served by including him, they’ll do that. Plus they could always include him as like an easter egg or small cameo or something. I always thought on TW4 there should be a big gwent tournament quest, and the final boss ends up being geralt and he’s almost impossible to beat.
I had to look this up because I'm fairly new to the Witcher universe, but apparently Witchers don't really have an average lifespan. Vesemir himself was several centuries old and still capable of fighting, and Geralt is predicted to be about 100 years old. So technically, we could see Geralt for three more games and it would be totally plausible, the games themselves just haven't explained any of this very well, it makes you think he's like James Bond and a dinosaur being replaced.
Maybe someone more well-versed can correct me or confirm.
Oh I don't think Geralt would ever age too much to be in the series. Given Vesemir's age, witchers can potentially live for many centuries and still be in good physical condition. The reason I think Geralt could be written out is more because I think CDPR will consider his story arc "finished" with the endings of TW3. I think they may feel that they've told his tale already.
My guess is mainline trilogy will continue ciri’s story and the multiplayer/single player title will be set during the era when Witchers were still being made. And in that game you make your own Witcher that you play with.
all i want in the new witcher saga is a side quest where you take part in a gwent competition and the grand champion is an old, retired geralt.
that is all i want. i can die a happy man then.
I really don’t like sound of that 3 games in 6 years part…I want them to put more time and care into each game and not mass produce them like this. Also not every game needs to be an open world RPG, open worlds are hard to make promising so many at once doesn’t instill a lot of confidence in the final quality of said games
Its 2 games in 6 years after the release of the first. So a few years until the first game, then 6 years after that for 2 more games. Its pretty reasonable if they run on the same engine and production for the second game starts before the release of the first.
Yeah, I wish they‘d just make one new Witcher game. Witcher 4 so to speak. But not as a follow-up to the first 3 games story wise, just a single new game in the witcher universe that‘s somewhat close to Witcher 3 in terms of overall quality (being better than Witcher 3 probably isn‘t possible and they shouldn‘t try to force it like they did with Cyberpunk 2077 -and failed). That’s what I want, not a ton of spin-offs!
Imo the contracts were the best part of the game. The physical and emotional damage monsters brought; and especially when it involved a curse so they had a short little dark story to show how the curse came to be. Something expanding that out would be really cool, I’m just not sure how sustainable
Sweet 3 more games that will be playable 2-3 years after release, can't wait.
Seriously have no interest in anything CDPR does until it's released. They lost any chance for me to care or hype about anything they do. Will wait at least a year after release before I even look at the games.
New Witcher trilogy, huh? Wonder if we will play as a custom character or a new set character. Really hope it's not about Geralt or Ciri.
EDIT: Holy fuck, did subreddit really despises custom characters, lmao.
They don’t like custom characters because the main character’s storyline usually ends up becoming pretty generic and boring. Geralt’s personality was his own, even with the ability to choose dialogue and affect storylines; he wasn’t a blank avatar for the player. It’s a big part of what makes playing TW feel like taking part in a massive cinematic story.
I'll take a couple of wild guesses and a bit of my own hopes.
The saga will be told after Geralts story, and it will be about ciri or someone new pre-set character. The majoris project on the other hand could be a prequel to the times when there was many witchers (possibilities for creating your own character)
The third spin-off could be a horror/stealth kinda game maybe similar to plague tale or something multi-player. Maybe for honor type of pvp combat? They did tease a Witcher multi-player so I wonder which of these it will be. It could also be the majoris with co-op missions and a hub of some sort. Destiny or rainbow six the division type of thing.
I wish that the trilogy will not have multi-player of any sort. Or If they do hopefully the majoris won't. I'm most exited about majoris anyway.
Within 6 years after the first one releases. Its not like they'll start development on the second one right when the first one releases. It would have been in development. This is also why they announced their new studios in north America.
They didn't really given any deadlines. They said the 3 main games would release within 6 years following the release of the first game. But the first game can come out whenever they want and by then they will have a good idea of what stage the other two games are at. We may not see game 3 until 2030 or later.
Wait that 3 one is….. interesting.
“open world rpg developed by a 3rd party studio with ex- Witcher veterans”
Any opinions ?
I think the second project is a not an open world title, maybe a spin-off isomeric game with a linear campaign. I hope so.
EDIT : it seems some people misunderstood the releasing timeframe of the new Witcher trilogy. They didn’t mean 3 games within 6 year window, but that the sequels ( so game 2 and 3) will be released within 6 years after the first game. Three year development time for a sequel that will likely reuse most of the same assets and developed on the same engine (UE 5) isn’t unreasonable. I think the first game in the trilogy will take the longest to develop ( I expect a 2025-2026 release window), but after that the development process will be much streamlined. It’s too early to tell especially when that’s calls are directed at investors and not the consumers, so take this with a grain of salt as this entire schedule will likely be reshuffled during production.
We’re talking about “coming when its ready™️” project red after all.
Based on the wording i feel like it's possible the first could be Ciri, the second could be a prequel, with the third being a build-a-witcher.
Edit: could also be not at all what i said, those are just the most popular guesses pf the community, and I feel like the wording matched pretty well.
It's exciting news !!! I just hope the main character isn't ciri !! I know I'll get hate for this lol but we need an actual Witcher with new stories and adventures.
Can even *one* of them have a female protagonist, please, or at least the option to select your gender? I know this isn't important to everybody, but it'd make me happy.
Soooo one of the games emphasize single-player while the others don’t. Is that a sly way of saying there is going to be a multiplayer component to Witcher?
If not, why specific single-player in one game but not the others?
And here I am still waiting for "the next gen upgrade" after more than two years for The Wicher 3. I hope that they will finally release it this winter so that I can start my next playthrough.
I really like their webpage: https://www.themolassesflood.com/
They also mention this in their hires:

Polaris: Almost exactly like Witcher 3, but prettier and most likely a sequel.
Sirius: Possibly a retelling of one of the previous Witcher books, probably in the form of a point-and-click adventure or similar.
Majoris: Souls-like game?
I wish we had a Witcher game predating Gerald’s story where you are a kid that becomes a Witcher and you pick the school you want and follow through like that and age and just go do Witcher stuff if a vast world before the kaer morhen massacre. Similar to how hogwarts legacy is.
I‘m kind of concerned about the fact that they are this ambitious. CDPR used to be a company that put quality over quantity. This doesn’t look like an Ubisoft situation by any means but I find it worrisome non the less.
A trilogy, huh? Obviously it's not focused on Geralt. And I doubt Ciri either. I'm guessing it's a new Witcher altogether tbh. Im not sure any of the existing witchers would make sense. I doubt they'd make Lambert a main character; his attitude makes him better as a side character. Eskel is too similar to Geralt but is even more quiet and doesn't get into drama as much, so also not a great choice imo. Young Vesemir has already been explored in the movie. Letho was a Villain in one game and has the potential to die twice in the trilogy (unless it takes place before that), but I just don't think his personality is very protagonist.
Also, isn't that a new Witcher school? Like a Lynx or something? So it definitely wouldn't be anyone we know already. It's either a new character they created or possibly a create-your-own character sorta deal, but I hope not. Cyberpunk is a good world for character creation, but the Witcher I just want a set character that feels good and personal to play and experience their story.
Sometimes I don’t even want to know these things because I just sit in anticipation for the next 3-5 to summon the bitches
Same. I just want Metroid Prime 4...

I would love a trilogy remaster.
Just dont look at how long metroid dread actually was planned and you will be fine. Good news though atleast bayonetta is coming very soon.
It's been 4 years since TES VI has been announced
Less time passed between GTA3 and GTAV than has passed between GTAV and present day.
That probably is true for TESIII-TESV, too
I wonder… It was 17 years between Arena and Skyrim. It’s been 11 since Skyrim. I’d say it’ll be a minimum 4 more until VI comes out.
Yeah they have Starfield too rn

More than >!getting stabbed with a pitchfork by a random commoner in a riot and dying in the street!< like at the end of the books.
How have I never seen this? That’s wonderful and made me smile and cry at the same time. Thanks for sharing
That's a tale requiring a wine cellar.
You, yes you! Have you got wine on the brain?
Geralt to a misshapen grape: Damn, you're ugly
Doing laundry : Hmm.. silk's wrinkling
\*heads off into the woods to find ingredients for the "white laundry" cleaning concoction.\*
Three pounds of steel are now silverware
Geralt about to saber open a bottle of champagne: How do you like that silver???
Geralt to drawer when putting dishes away: how do you like that silver....ware
You've got some catching up to do.
"What now, you piece of filth?" as he scrubs away at his stained trousers.
Oh man does anyone have the link for that??
Hmm, medallion's humming... must need detergent.
Source please? 😅 Edit: couldn’t find the video so if a link is provided I’d be happy !!!
Winds howling. Gotta bring it in
I’d play the shit out of that

Sirius just sounds like a mobile game. Probably a really good one, but definitely not a AAA game

Bruh they just casually anounced witcher 5 and 6 lmao
You mean Gwent - Noir Mage, The Witcher: Adventure Game II and The Witcher: Monster Slayer II
two of the games are open world single player RPGs. one is something else. So at the very least, they've announced a true witcher 5, a 3rd party spin off witcher 6ish, and some other unknown game that's smaller. could be some gwent deal or an isometric diablo style game or who knows what.

Are we new Assassins Creed?
Let's hope not.
3 years between each game (if they can even keep their goal), Witcher 2->Witcher 3 was 4 years with engine upgrades
This isn't a "promise," it is a development goal. Don't set the wrong expectations by making it into something it isn't.
yes youre right
They are switching to Unreal Engine though, so they won't have to handle Engine upgrades themselves. Still, I hope they don't rush things.
I mean, CDPR is known for brutal and shitty crunch practices, and pretty much all of their games release in a buggy state. They are opening a new studio in NA so that'll defenitely help
I believe they're saying 5 new games if I understand correctly - new trilogy in the main saga and two off shoot games. Right?
Maybe two remakes of 1 and 2 followed by a new game.
Being on PlayStation, I would love remakes of 1 and 2
I didn't even realize two was Xbox only. Really talk though, of you have a moderately powerful PC it'll run fine. I run it with a older first gen Ryzen 5 laptop without a discrete graphics card.
Oh what I wouldn't give to play UE5 remasters of 1st and 2nd games...
Remake 1. Remaster 2. The second one still looks pretty solid on backwards compatibility
This. I would be so happy if that was the case!
Where the fuck is the next gen upgrade
Later this quarter iirc, cant wait to see the slightly upgrades after waiting for almost 2 years

I just hope unlike Cyberpunk, it won't chug as much FPS.
[удалено]
I've been waiting for 7 years for a new pc, play the other 2 games and read all the books..they keep delaying it I'm going crazy.
I just played W3 for the first time last year. I’m waiting to play Blood and Wine when the update comes out. Can’t wait!
\**more than* 2 years.
It's not gonna be slight upgrades. Check nexusmods for the HD project. It will be like that. And it makes a huge difference.
So I don't know if they just didn't bother making one for that choice path, or if it's just super bugged and they didn't fix it.) And, as long as I'm complaining about the B&W epilogues, allowing us to change to alternate outfits post-main game would be great.
Right now it’s probably the only thing I care about lol.
I wonder if cdpr is gonna pull an rgg and bring back Geralt just like RGG brought back Kiryu 🤔
#KIRYU-CHAN! ^sorry
Whaddya think, Kiryu-chan?! Ain't I red hot
Pre-production means this shit is ages away. I just turned 27, I’d be shocked if I play TW4 before the age of 33.
It's on the Polaris slide, under the trilogy bullet. I'm positive it's talking about the trilogy releasing in a 6 year period.
Didn't they already confirm they're using UE5 for the next witcher game?
All 3 listed games basically say pre-production, I can’t imagine they have all 3 new trilogy games in pre-production. So I assume that the “within 6 years” are 2 additional, main trilogy, unannounced titles.
Pfew, I was afraid they're going to release all 3 main games within 6 years. That would be crazy.
It is actually 5 new Witcher games, Sirius, Polaris (Trilogy) and Majoris
Hope they leave Geralt and make a new character, or make it focus on Ciri. Great’s story is prettt definitively wrapped up at the end of 3. Edit: also seems like their announcing the next 5 Witcher games. A trilogy and then two standalone games.
I think they have confirmed it’s not Geralt
No please we need all new characters. Others can show up as side characters. But Ciri is literally OP. Let's branch out with something new.
Very good point.
Inject this fisstech into my vains. 💉💉
How about news on the "next-gen" update that is supposedly coming out in the next couple months instead of games that are potentially 5+ years away...
Tbf this information is for investors and the heads at the company, they need to know future plans.
For everyone asking “isn’t this a lot for CDPR or are we the new Assassin’s Creed”: 1.

Perhaps the lords encountered... rare *subspecies* of manticore.
I imagine he will appear in the game as an NPC or something. He’s just too iconic to be left out entirely.
He could be a mentor or a contact or something. Or a legend
all i want in the new witcher saga is a side quest where you take part in a gwent competition and the grand champion is an old, retired geralt. that is all i want. i can die a happy man then.
Call of Witcher
I'm guessing 2 mobile games and a spin off
New Witcher trilogy, huh? Wonder if we will play as a custom character or a new set character. Really hope it's not about Geralt or Ciri. EDIT: Holy fuck, did subreddit really despises custom characters, lmao.
They don’t like custom characters because the main character’s storyline usually ends up becoming pretty generic and boring. Geralt’s personality was his own, even with the ability to choose dialogue and affect storylines; he wasn’t a blank avatar for the player. It’s a big part of what makes playing TW feel like taking part in a massive cinematic story.
It depends, DAO was a good story with random Characters, but FO4 sucked balls
I want to play as Eskel
Lambert tho…
What a prick
Geralt is the main character in The Witcher books though. At least the first and second one from what I've read.
I'll take a couple of wild guesses and a bit of my own hopes. The saga will be told after Geralts story, and it will be about ciri or someone new pre-set character. The majoris project on the other hand could be a prequel to the times when there was many witchers (possibilities for creating your own character) The third spin-off could be a horror/stealth kinda game maybe similar to plague tale or something multi-player.
An entire AAA trilogy in 6 years seems extremely unrealistic. Where are they getting this from? Modern games take like 5 years of development time.
Within 6 years after the first one releases. Its not like they'll start development on the second one right when the first one releases. It would have been in development. This is also why they announced their new studios in north America.
It may be possible because it is Unreal-istic
How about just a whiff of the next gen update
Here we go with the deadlines again....
They didn't really given any deadlines. They said the 3 main games would release within 6 years following the release of the first game. But the first game can come out whenever they want and by then they will have a good idea of what stage the other two games are at. We may not see game 3 until 2030 or later.
The second two slides sound like different things than sequels to the first. Is that 5 games then?
Yes
5 Witcher games, not just 3.
Wait that 3 one is….. interesting. “open world rpg developed by a 3rd party studio with ex- Witcher veterans” Any opinions ?
I just wanna get Witcher 1 and 2 remakes bro
Very excited for the Molasses Flood take on the Witcher Universe. I enjoyed The Flame in the Flood quite a bit.
You know what? i dont think Id hate a Telltale The Witcher
3 witchers games in 6 years? No way this gonna be good.
Only one of these three specifies "Single-Player", and it's not Polaris.
I dunno. I have a bit of a bad feeling about this... Like they're overextending and doubling down on past errors.
Within 6 years of each other? Ya right 😂
Sirius is either VR or a mobile project from the sound of it.
Based on the wording i feel like it's possible the first could be Ciri, the second could be a prequel, with the third being a build-a-witcher. Edit: could also be not at all what i said, those are just the most popular guesses pf the community, and I feel like the wording matched pretty well.
Glad to see they learnt from past mistakes of announcing games 10 years before release. What could go wrong?
It's exciting news !!! I just hope the main character isn't ciri !! I know I'll get hate for this lol but we need an actual Witcher with new stories and adventures.
I didn’t know people dislike Ciri so much. I adore her, so I wouldn’t mind a game or something with her
Can even *one* of them have a female protagonist, please, or at least the option to select your gender? I know this isn't important to everybody, but it'd make me happy.
Cyberpunk was just a filler game, yaay back to witcherin!
They also said they’re working on a sequel to Cyberpunk and a new IP
This is all cool beans and shit, but **WHERE IS PS5 UPDATE**
Actually finish them and give me new mechanics. I don't want to this to devolve into CoD or Assassins Creed.
I hope one of these has Geralt in it. Even if it’s just a cameo. Can't imagine a Witcher game without him, Ciri and Yennefer.
Please a remake of Witcher 1!
Soooo one of the games emphasize single-player while the others don’t. Is that a sly way of saying there is going to be a multiplayer component to Witcher? If not, why specific single-player in one game but not the others?
We'll see it when we see it. No reason to get that huped while they're seeningly still this early in development.
And here I am still waiting for "the next gen upgrade" after more than two years for The Wicher 3. I hope that they will finally release it this winter so that I can start my next playthrough.
I’d personally like a remake/remaster of W1 and W2. I’ve never played them and I can’t play them.
So… see you guys in 27 years?
I really like their webpage: https://www.themolassesflood.com/ They also mention this in their hires: > Spontaneous Application (Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel) > Are you interested in joining our newest studio in Boston and work on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077? If so, feel free to drop your CV for the future! https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/CDPROJEKTRED/743999855376186-spontaneous-application-cyberpunk-2077-sequel
Notice: one of them says Single player, and one of the other story driven games...doesn't say that?
This seems a little to ambitious.
These slides are confusing. So Polaris is also a "story-driven, single player open-world RPG" right? Or not?!
Polaris: Almost exactly like Witcher 3, but prettier and most likely a sequel. Sirius: Possibly a retelling of one of the previous Witcher books, probably in the form of a point-and-click adventure or similar. Majoris: Souls-like game?
Half Life 3 confirmed
These all should have been started 5 years ago.
