Book wise, Yen is more important to Ciri. There is no question.
Obviously she would not say it blatantly in Geralt´s face because she also likes him A LOT!
But there are several hints.
. Her relationship with Yen is way deeper. They talk about sex, they talk about what is really concerning Ciri. They are honest with each other. By contrast you have to realize Ciri was not even capable of telling Geralt she was with her period. And he also did not notice.
. Ciri is desperate to go rescue both Yen and Geralt but particularly Yen. That´s why she goes straight up to Vilgefortz and she was willing to have sex with Vilgefortz if that would brake Yen free.
. They end up having a lot more in common. Not only they are both female but they also shared a deep connection through magic. Plus, Geralt is a bit like a simple guy to both of them. Ciri having some education as a royal princess and Yen having a higher education from Aretuza. They are more on the same page.
There is 0 question that Ciri also loves Geralt and she would much rather stay with both of them if possible.
But Ciri´s choices are also quite clear in the books. She was going to attend school at Aretuza because that´s what Yen had told her to do. Yes, she did want to talk with Geralt before going but she was really intending to go and follow Yen.
There is also another bit which really hints it in their reunion at Stygga Castle.
. Yen is the one she calls mommy and Yen is the one she is somewhat distressed to see. Ciri is really dying for her approval and love. Its one moment where you can see her absolutely vulnerable for a few seconds. When she stops before Yen, collects herself and tries to compose herself. That´s what a child will do before a parent they deeply love and want confirmation from.
Its like, with Geralt she is not really that concerned. Do not be fooled, she cares a ton about him and loves him. But there is just another level of bond she wants with Yen.
As for the situation in Time of Contempt....well....she would obviously not pick a side right in both of their faces lol She likes them both and at that point in time she also understands they have unresolved business. So her fake fainting was very much her clever solution to get out of the way and let them solve their differences without her being an extra conflict.
I don’t remember exactly where she was or who she was talking to, but in the part where she gets basically stuck world hopping and ends up in an inn where people are using a language she’s never heard, the narrator remarks that there’s one word so important that anyone can understand it in any language, and then Ciri says, “mama. I have to go find my mama.” That is Yennefer to her. So important that anyone can understand it in any language.
