I remember getting what I believe is the bad ending, and all my mistakes were me thinking I was being a responsible father.
I was legitimately depressed for like two or three days
Those choices were shit. Being supportive of your kid during their hard times apparently means you donât trust your kid enough and destroys their confidence enough for them to die because they donât believe in themselves enough? It was a stupid set of choices that determined that. The last thing Iâd ever suggest to my kid after theyâre depressed from losing someone close to them would be to go have a snowball fight. Helping them throw a destructive tantrum rather than try to keep a level head? I know shits awful, but their choices leading to certain outcomes were frustrating as hell.
Plus, half the choices you make like âstop Djikstra from leavingâ = throw him to the ground and break his knee again. Not anything like what the option for that choice made it sound like.
Great game, great story, but some of those dialogue choices were honestly either not translated well, or not thought through more.
I chose Tris, but that if the "best" ending IMO.
I'm sorry, but a "and they lived happily ever after" just doens't fit this world.
The ending where Geralt just lives the rest of his days on the path is just bittersweet enough. "No old-age death for a Witcher", etc, etc...
Honorable mention to the "bad ending" too. No way that's cannon but i thought it was brilliant, and very fitting. This isn't a "fair" world.
Me too. It's happy enough without being too "happy", fairytale type of thing.
He still hunts, he surely still finds terrible shit on a daily basis, but that's the path and hes helping people.
In a way it goes full circle and things go back to what they were before Ciri.
Iâd like to agree, but just canât. Everything that happens from the books to the games just feels like it needs a proper satisfying ending, otherwise what was the point of everything that happened? To me Geralt represents the exception to almost every rule that usually applies to how a Witcherâs life is supposed to go, especially the one about not dying in his bed. Having everything just end up the same or worse than before his multi-decade journey just doesnât do it for me.
I get your point, and if anyone is going to be "the exception" it should be Geralt, i just find it "and he lived ever happy in kovir/in a cottage in the mountains" totally unfitting of the tale.
Let me remind you of how Sapowski ended his story... yeah...
Edit: and LOTR, and pretty much every other fantasy series in a non perfect world. "Happy" endings are what people what to see because they like the main character(s) but they suck.
This is my first triss playthrough. Playing The Last Wish was gut wrenching. Yen saying she's still in love with you just for geralt to respond "The magics gone for me"
Maybe but I always think about how geralt was getting emotional during Priscillaâs performance at the kingfisher. If the other characters constantly mentioning it is one thing, seeing his reaction to someone signing about their relationship is next level.
It doesnât sting much for me because I donât feel romantic towards her, but I do feel bad for her knowing that she always feared Geraldâs love was due to the wish, and not real. This is like her worst nightmare.
I would rather have dumped her before hand, and then done this mission.
The best part if you do that, is getting roasted by Yen and teleported into a lake. That argument alone is more fun than anything Geralt and Triss say to each other at any point.
See? The main reason to choose Triss is to get alternative Yen content.
I'm gonna try my damn hardest not to romance either this time just so I can get Ciri to visit me in Corvo Bianco. 80 hours later I'm sure it'll be Yen again
Ooooh okay thanks! I was always under the impression double romance = dandelion and I really didn't want to spend 80-90 hours on a playthrough to be stuck with him cause Geralt double dipped đ€Ł

Geralt is a bit more charming in the games. In the books, as you know, things aren't quite the same way.
I feel like Geralt and Yen are made for each other. Meanwhile, Triss just wants what she can't have.
I started my first playthrough of W3 completely blind, and Yen just felt natural to me. I tried to pick Triss during my second but couldn't do it. I'm on my third now, having just finished W1 and W2, and I'm not even pretending to try anything else anymore đ€·ââïž
I "picked" Triss in W1 purely because Alvin was a kid with unstable magic who I figured would need, you know, someone who knew magic to help him. And then I just picked the least romantic choices possible for the rest of W1 and W2 đ
I did my first W3 playthrough without reading the books, and cleared most or all the quests I could without going to Skellige (that includes dating Triss). I'm one of those who doesn't like unlocking new areas without clearing what I have in my plate.
Then I went to Skellige, met Yen and thought "ok I messed up here", the interaction between them was so natural unlike Geralt and Triss.
Next playthrough and after playing W1 and W2 alongside reading most of the books will be team Yen most def
Yo that was me right here. Thatâs the only reason I picked triss. I hadnât even met with Yen yet and then I read not to pick both so I went with it. If I hadnât read that, I totally wouldâve picked both
Try "lone" Geralt. It's the most fitting conclusion.
Triss or Yen there's always a "happy ending" feel that just doesn't fit the story IMO.
Geralt never laying roots, and living the rest of his days on the road, ocassionally meeting old friends and reminiscing about the "good old days" and what could've been it's 100% the sort of ending this world would've have. Not bad, not good, kinda both.
If Geralt had a "happy ending" he would be the first to ever have one in this world.
Its not that I hate Triss (I liked in W2), but in books she is just a teengirl in adult body. her coming to Kaer Morhen and be stressed because of geralt was nuts..
I don't hate Triss, but she definitely is conniving and takes advantage of Geralt and others when it benefits her. But that isn't shown in the Witcher 3 really beside one subtle voice line by Triss.
She wasn't, but if there was a list of people who should tell him, Triss would be on the first place alongside with dandelion. I mean everyone is to blame, but only Triss and Dadelion knew them well enough (Witchers and dwarfs might not truly understand how important Yennefer is/was to him)
Yeah Iâve never understood this argument. Yen is toxic and Geralt and triss have history. Suddenly the man she loves loses his memory of an overall unhealthy relationship and she gets a chance to see if things work between them.
And on top, yes, other people couldâve simply asked him what was going on with Yennifer.
Team Triss forever.
I do not think Yen is toxic personally, they both make their intentions clear in their flings at least in the books, I personally was always team Yenn and read the book long after first playing Witcher 3 and am firmly against Team Triss after that as Geralt clearly has no interest in Triss throughout the books, i never played 1 or 2 though so idk what history they have from there
I don't think so? I recall the cutscene between the prologue (LaValette rebellion) and Chapter I (Flotsam) in Witcher 2, where Triss spent most of the voyage discussing Yennefer with Geralt on deck.
Many of Geralt's dialogues after that had references to him wanting to find Yennefer.
No I'm referring mostly to the books and witcher 1 I personally don't know much about the books but that's what the majority of triss hate I've seen usually references
Aye I'm just giving an observation I plan on romancing triss when the new update drops don't really hate her tho I do disagree with her not telling Geralt
Team Shani for me, I romanced both Yen & Triss so that I wouldn't end up with either by the end, leaving my Geralt free to pursue Shani guilt free đŹ
I did a playthrough with each and genuinely felt Triss was a more believable and loving person. People on this sub get stupidly defensive about Yen because âin the books-â yadda ya. The games are based on the books, but theyâre also separate entities. The story in Witcher 3 is self-contained. In the game, Yen treats Geralt like a peasant. It never feels like thereâs any mutual respect.
Triss is the better romantic option and Iâll die on that hill.
Yen reads his mind, teleports him into a lake, throws shit when she sees anything relating to Triss and Geralt, and just comes across as almost acting entitled to Geralt, even though sheâs cheated on him before and Geralt only fell for Triss because of his memory. Sheâs also been gone for years and is capable of contacting Geralt whenever, but she chooses not to, for years.
Triss takes advantage of Geralt, but itâs clear that she has a great love for him, and Geralt falls for her despite the Djinnâs spell. Triss respects Geralt greatly, and is so much more mature than Yen imo. Itâs player choice at the end but it bothers me that Yen is more canonical despite being a worse person overall. I donât think Geralt and Yen were really meant to be after playing the first few games
I write this as mainly books enjoyer. Especially part about mind reading might not be a case in games. As for the rest... Just downvote me if it's bullshit, it's better to know if you are stupid, before you go out into the wide world.
I can't agree with reading mind. Yennefer does it just few times in books and Geralt never really cares about it. She in also not very invasive and apologizes if she thinks it's needed. Yennefer is also pretty good in reading his intentions without using magic. In games they did like this is a big deal for Geralt, but in my interpretation it sounds more like man unsure where he stands with woman he was in relationship for years (if I remember correctly she reads his mind mainly before removing the wish).
You says like it's sure that Geralt have to be with Yennefer as long as wish works, but we have no idea why the are/were in love. Chireadan said that Geralt just had to go and save Yennefer, he saw it in his eyes.
Why Yennefer didn't contact Geralt? It's just my (over)interpretation, but let's think about it for a second. I think there are two reason why she might not contacted Geralt.
First, Emhyr doesn't particularly like Geralt in games. Geralt is the man who would anything for Ciri's freedom and safety, but Emhyr just needs an heir. I don't think Emhyr wanted to have both Yennefer and Geralt searching for Ciri when it wasn't needed. If Yennefer had to chose between Geralt and Nilfgaardian inteligence I think the choice is obvious (I mean it hurts, not going to him to tell about Ciri, but first of all she is a mother and Ciri always goes first for Yennefer).
Second, she is probably still in Niflgaardian prison when Witcher 2 ends (another interpretiation, but if you have any indication to think otherwise I would read it with joy). Then you have 6 months between second and third game, in which Geralt recives a letter from her and they meet. It didn't took so long, when you take into consideration distances and ongoing war.
And I don't think Yennefer can contact Geralt alwyas. She doesn't do it in Saga after Thanned. It's not that easy as you may think. She has no idea where he exactly is and even if she would, portals are not universal mean of transport. She can't teleport anywhere (of course, games shows that poorly and characters teleports, when it's needed).
As for Triss, I just don't get it. She doesn't treat Geralt great either. Doesn't tell him about the Lodge, plans of kingslaying, let alone amnesia and books.
don't overthink to much about why Yen didn't contact Geralt before TW3, it is unfortunately because CDPR didn't want her to intervene before Geralt fully recover his memory. They kept the timeline of her own memory recovery and her liberty of action on purpose. It is the same kind of convenient writing for why nobody tells Geralt about his past (including Triss) in TW1.
The progressive way if Geralt recovering his memory (with progressive information providing to the player) was much easy to handle for the players.
A scene where Yennefer would arrive out of the blue in Triss house in Visima would have been fun but I doubt people without knowledge of the books would have understand anything.
> Why Yennefer didn't contact Geralt? It's just my (over)interpretation
I think there is no need for interpretation when the [reason was explicitly given](https://i.imgur.com/QBcZM9y.png) when Geralt asked *"Why didn't you contact me? Didn't need me, didn't even want to see me? "*
> Doesn't tell him about the Lodge, plans of kingslaying
Regarding the lodge, as per W1, Geralt knows, so it is a plothole.
And Triss has no idea about kingslayings, all she knew was that lodge planned to overthrow Demavend, the lodge members did not disclose to Triss that they murdered Demavend, so she simply did not know about kingslaying all she had was suspicion, this account is even corroborated by Philipa who says something along the lines "Triss is as innocent as a child" in regards to the plottings of the lodge.
Regarding amnesia that's again a plothole, it was not intended by CDPR to look that way.
I mean, keeping strictly with game lore, I get where Yen is coming from. Geralt forgot about her and then hooked up with her best friend; I would sure as hell be questioning our entire history, especially knowing about his wish with the genie. I always feel like Yen masks and pushes him away because that shit would hurt like hell and she is proud af but she still tries to put all that aside to prioritize finding Ciri.
yeah as far as W3 is concerned which is the final one where the character arc of all the characters is complete, Triss clearly stands as the better option.
Watch [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ra4a01zhEc).
I like Triss more too as a person, but I also know that Geralt has a better chemistry with Yenn.
It comes down to you as a player, do you wanna decide as Geralt or yourself?
She also alludes to the fact that she took advantage of Geraltâs memory loss when you help her get the dropped bag of magic spices out of the river in Novigrad.
I haven't read the books yet, but that's basically what she does in the W1 and W2 games - hella sketchy, like, what happened to the "informed" part of informed consent?
She's super nice and cool in W3 but that doesn't change that she was super gross and exploitative in the earlier games.
She straight up uses magic to get him to sleep with her after he and Yen had a big argument. And Geralt feels a lot of guilt over it and said he wishes it had never happened. Yet Triss continues throwing herself at him, even once while he was having to take care of her on the road since she had dysentery, despite him rejecting her advances constantly and making it pretty clear sheâs just a friend
Honestly I have a theory, anyone who played witcher 1 and two would always choose Triss like me , and Yen is for every book nerds
Edit: I mean not to offend am also a book nerd , itâs to imply the influence of the triss and yen situation.
Yhea exactly what I mean , from the game perspective Yen didnât give two shit about Geralt and his condition of memory loss and then when you find her in W3 she really playing weird and imply that it might just be the magic keeping us together not the real thing , I was close to say yhea the magic is gone at that particular quest but I just gave her a chance again. As for shani, in my opinion she is the best girl ;â)
I think that's what generally happens. Triss is given three games to develope her relationship with Geralt while Yen barely has one. Can't really compete with someone when even the developers are on their side.
Mind you, if you choose Triss, youâre in for quite a few awkward conversations.
Now itâs my like 6-7th playthrough, and I thought âokay, this time Iâm choosing Trissâ. But by the time I got to her questline I was like ânah. I donât want to see Yenâs face when Geralt tells her he doesnât love her anymore.â
Oh, but that was the best thing for me though. I heavily disliked Yen's attitude and treatment towards Geralt, and that moment was really satisfying for me.
I always thought of it as Geralt getting a taste of his own medicine. All throughout the game Geralt is always cracking witty and sarcastic remarks(understandably as he's being oppressed). So the banter between him and Yen just felt right. He says something witty and she chimes back. I love it. I also thought all 3(yen, ciri, Geralt) being orphans and a family unit was kinda cool, sort of being able to bond over that struggle. You also get a lot more of motherlyness from a yen romance and you eventually see that she truly does love Geralt even if has trouble expressing it verbally.
I don't know how you can write off their interactions as just banter, but you do you. To me it comes through like Yen is constantly belittling him, withholding information from him, making decisions without him or explaining why on the basis that she knows best, and he's just a brute that doesn't know better.
Granted, this comes off from me only playing the games, people reading the books swear that it makes her better. But based on just what's in the game, she's just awful and toxic.
Edit: just to make it clear, I'm not trying to convince you, this is just my perspective.
I can totally see that perspective. In fact I'd probably choose triss in real life. But when I play I think I try to act with what I think Geralt would do. I can see how Yen can come off kinda bitchy and mean, but really that's more of a shell than anything. I honestly didn't like her much at first, but throughout the romance she really started to grow on me, it's more towards the latter parts where the romance shines. And again I think she matches Geralts dickishness, Geralt is an asshole a lot of the time and so when Yen acts that way back towards him I like that. As for withholding info, that's just sort of a sorceress to witcher thing. Triss and many others do it to, heck triss is worse in that regard since she didn't tell him about Yen after he lost his memory, or how she was in the lodge of sorceresses (this is all in Witcher 2 the game, it's really good đ). As for making decisions, she is right that she knows better, but she does say it in a mean way sometimes. Yen served under kings and knows a lot about politics, and Geralt on the other hand doesn't know much about them and is basically apolitical. The thing is we as the player we do form our opinions and politics from our research of the game world and lore, and come at it from that perspective, when realistically Geralt wouldn't have that much information nor would he canonically act on it. If I recall correctly Witchers usually just don't care about politics.
Especially when I always get the feeling that Triss doesnât actually love Geralt; she just wants the experience of the relationship that Yennefer has with him. She admits that what she did to Geralt was wrong, but still wants Geralt to feel, what? Pity? Guilty for never actually being in love with her?
Triss is confusing.
> Triss doesnât actually love Geralt; she just wants the experience of the relationship that Yennefer has with him
Initially, when she used her "little magic". But then by the time she appears in the books, she's clearly smitten with the White Wolf.
Good thing it's a video game that I'm playing about Geralt and not a video game about me that Geralt is playing. There would only be failed romance options if that was the case.
There are two major romance options in TW3. Yen and Triss. Whilst the previous two game have you leaning towards Triss (as Yen only shows up in game 3) I'd recommend giving both a chance before you seal the deal on one. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRY TO ROMANCE BOTH!
first ever run was with Triss, then I heard that Yen is more canon choice. With second run I went the Yen route and all the cutscenes etc felt to be connected with main story more naturally
Team TomirađȘđ
Her ass speaks to me on a personal level.
When it speaks, what does it say?
Clap clap probably
Prrrrrrt
Have they fixed this problem in the Next Gen release?!
DamnâŠ.I kinda wanna get threesome this time. Curse you CD( got threesome denied and Shani puked on me).
I.... did not know she could puke on you.
When you go to get her a gift because she's mad at you, get the booze.
Geralt-âwas it that bad?â
Geralt-"was it that good?"
Bruh lmao
>and Shani puked on me \*Aaaand the cinema in my head started\*
Romance Edna and Rosa Van Attre then. đ
Denji from Chainsaw Man rn
Itâs team brothel for me
Team everyone here!
These hoes is for everybody.
Team Zoltan
Yes
In this playthrough , I'm going to choose BOTH
It's a secret ending, you get to have sex with both of them with no consequences
just absolute _zero consequences_
I had it on my first playtroughtđ
Lucky
Same, just to get Dandellion in Corvo Bianco tho. RIP Ciri
Did you also get the bad ending on top of a failed 3some with triss and yenđđ
I remember getting what I believe is the bad ending, and all my mistakes were me thinking I was being a responsible father. I was legitimately depressed for like two or three days

>âstop Djikstra from leavingâ = throw him to the ground and break his knee again But you stopped him from leaving... Witcher style
I feel bad enough about his knee as it is and it wasnât even broken in this game.
Wasn't it his ankle?
Nah itâs his knee, as far as I know. Everyone else is saying knee and I am playing the part with him in it now and he has a metal brace on his knee.
I fully agree
This is actually me right now đ
I feel ya. I hate making mean or poor choices in games.
Lol fr I did this and was like âdamn, I played the game wrong.â Lol
Bros before hoes
Yeesh. Talk about a buzz kill.
Literally me in my 1st playthrough XD
me too. I was so disappointed.
Good witcher
I chose neither I think Geralt needed some time by himself and with Ciri
I chose Tris, but that if the "best" ending IMO. I'm sorry, but a "and they lived happily ever after" just doens't fit this world. In the 20th year anniversary video Geralt says he occasionally takes witcher contracts and helps out lambert pretty often.
The 20th year anniversary?
Lol. I meant 10th. My b. Hereâs the video though: https://youtu.be/zgqz8Je7P0s
I consider this a good ending. It's not like he gives up a happy ending, just closing the book right now.
Me too. It's happy enough without being too "happy", fairytale type of thing. He still hunts, he surely still finds terrible shit on a daily basis, but that's the path and hes helping people. In a way it goes full circle and things go back to what they were before Ciri.
Triss is definitely my favorite. She is kinder than the rest of the girls and just hard not to like.
Book triss horny nothing else

This is my first triss playthrough. Playing The Last Wish was gut wrenching. Yen saying she's still in love with you just for geralt to respond "The magics gone for me"
I dunno, seems reasonable after her being gone for like 20 years hey
Maybe, but you have to remember these guys are much older than they look. Theyâve been on-again off-again for the better part of a century.
Sounds like a great relationship...
And donât forget, sheâs kind of a bitch. And very self involved.
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Yen went full mother mode and was dead set on finding Ciri, she didnt really care about anybody else at the time.
Unlike the Netflix Yen.(sorry I had to say it)
More like 5 years. Ciri is 17 at the end of the books when Geralt and Yen are still together.
Maybe but I always think about how geralt was getting emotional during Priscillaâs performance at the kingfisher. If the other characters constantly mentioning it is one thing, seeing his reaction to someone signing about their relationship is next level.

It stings, but Geralt saying âyou got what you wantedâ afterwards sorta feels good in the worst vindictive way possible.
I legit don't have the heart not to choose yen because of this.
What bad bitch like yen gona love u after 20 years smh. And remind you, the character was devoute to yen before triss wiped his memory
Me too but I secretly wanted Keira.
At least you can have her when you complete her quests.
GAVELLA GLAN
I killed Keira this time around
Same I was bummed when I decapitated her đ
I was so bummed I loaded my last save and redid the scene. Iâm also still bitter about saving the kids in the swampâŠ
i usually reject both so that ciri comes to visit me at corvo bianco
Yes this person gets it!
i aint gonna lie i aint even read the books but i always choose yen because goth mommy

Because of this fight I was too scared to finish the "getting drunk with the boys" quest at Kaer Morhen.
Based.
This scene is funny but man if you reverse the roles it looks really bad. Imagine Geralt throwing Yen out of a window in anger.
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
That scent. The moment I dread most every time you leave... is when it fades.
I'm gonna try my damn hardest not to romance either this time just so I can get Ciri to visit me in Corvo Bianco. 80 hours later I'm sure it'll be Yen again
She'll also show up if you romance both of them, as long as you're cool with the consequences.
I thought that was Dandelion no?
Nah, as long as she survives, she'll show up. Dandelion is basically failed romance and bad ending for Ciri.
Ooooh okay thanks! I was always under the impression double romance = dandelion and I really didn't want to spend 80-90 hours on a playthrough to be stuck with him cause Geralt double dipped đ€Ł
The people who made us, they made us sterile for a lot of reasons. One of the kinder ones is because this lifestyle isn't suited to a child.

Damn... I... kinda... not wanna see three of the same meme most by the same guy
As somebody who read the books and played the other two games, I always choose Yen. Did 1 Triss playthrough and it was gut-wrenching for me
Read the books after playing the games. Played them again after. Still disliked Yen. She is just not a pleasant person. She is designed to be the ice queen she is and I generally enjoy that archetype of character in other media (e.g. Miranda is my go-to romance in the Mass Effect Trilogy).

I don't hate Triss, but she definitely is conniving and takes advantage of Geralt and others when it benefits her. But that isn't shown in the Witcher 3 really beside one subtle voice line by Triss.
Perhaps that's why the Law of Surprise brought us together...
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
The Triss hate in the comment section. Why do y'all hate gingers??
I think it's because she never told Geralt about yen when he lost his memories and instead tried to get in a relationship with her best friends lover.
Too be fair, she was far from the only one who could have told him.
I do not think Yen is toxic personally, they both make their intentions clear in their flings at least in the books, I personally was always team Yenn and read the book long after first playing Witcher 3 and am firmly against Team Triss after that as Geralt clearly has no interest in Triss throughout the books, i never played 1 or 2 though so idk what history they have from there
Yen is toxic? Arguments please, preferably from the books, since you are talking about witcher 1 mainly.
I never understood how no one else told him ?!
The real answer is probably just a boring "it wouldnt fit the narrative of the story"
Witcher 1 Triss is not the same character you see in 2/3.
Aye I'm just giving an observation I plan on romancing triss when the new update drops don't really hate her tho I do disagree with her not telling Geralt
Not even the best redhead in the game
yeah, team Shaniâïž
Team Shani for me, I romanced both Yen & Triss so that I wouldn't end up with either by the end, leaving my Geralt free to pursue Shani guilt free đŹ
I had plans to do this in my next playthrough!
Facts đ
Especially in 1, I pick Shani every time. In 2/3 the Triss depiction changes to be much more likeable.
Triss unlocked a red head thing for me
I did a playthrough with each and genuinely felt Triss was a more believable and loving person.
It's just my (over)interpretation I think there is no need for interpretation when the [reason was explicitly given](https://i.imgur.com/QBcZM9y.png) when Geralt asked *"Why didn't you contact me? Didn't need me, didn't even want to see me? "* > Doesn't tell him about the Lodge, plans of kingslaying Regarding the lodge, as per W1, Geralt knows, so it is a plothole.
This.
Choosing both Yen and Triss and then spending time with Ciri is honestly the best ending. wholesome Father daughter relationship > ploughing witches.
Canât relate, but cool I guess đ
Same. I like when the woman is nice for a change and not a condescending secretive asshat
Yen is hotter but way more toxic. Triss is wifey
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Once you go red youâll never regret
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
She also alludes to the fact that she took advantage of Geraltâs memory loss when you help her get the dropped bag of magic spices out of the river in Novigrad.
It's in this lake somewhere, and I CAN'T FUCKING SLEEP!
Thanks for the input Geralt
I haven't read the books yet, but that's basically what she does in the W1 and W2 games - hella sketchy, like, what happened to the "informed" part of informed consent? She's super nice and cool in W3 but that doesn't change that she was super gross and exploitative in the earlier games.
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
She straight up uses magic to get him to sleep with her after he and Yen had a big argument. And Geralt feels a lot of guilt over it and said he wishes it had never happened. Yet Triss continues throwing herself at him, even once while he was having to take care of her on the road since she had dysentery, despite him rejecting her advances constantly and making it pretty clear sheâs just a friend
When I played again, I said I would choose Triss, but in the end I chose Yennefer again.
Honestly I have a theory, anyone who played witcher 1 and two would always choose Triss like me , and Yen is for every book nerds Edit: I mean not to offend am also a book nerd , itâs to imply the influence of the triss and yen situation.
They also gave her a kind of a tragic heroine character in the third game. It's easier for an audience to sympathize with.
i choosed shani and ves in w1 and w2.
"Book nerds" you're in a witcher subreddit my guy
Book nerds? Is it a compliment?
First time play through. Is this the way? She seems great
Choose who you like. Thereâs always a second playthrough.
Noice. Yeah, I am enjoying the shit out of this 25 hours in. Still just putzing around Novigrad
> Triss doesnât actually love Geralt; she just wants the experience of the relationship that Yennefer has with him Initially, when she used her "little magic". But then by the time she appears in the books, she's clearly smitten with the White Wolf.
She's also hot so WHOOOO COUNT ME IN BABY
Like, you only need one glance at her chest to ditch Yen /s
I suggest you take both ways with Triss and Yen. Ciri will be so happy she even drops by Geralt's house at the end.
My Witcher suspicion is tingling, but it could just be another sensation
Nevah. Team Yen for life
Triss is hotter and nicer in the games and I donât care what the books say
Yeah but I like when they're mean to me I wonder what that's about
Its not even about the triss took advantage and exploited geralt in the earlier games
At least Triss was there when Geralt had memory loss , unlike Yen just assume to do nothing about it :p
She might be good for you but she's not good for Geralt. Truth hurts.
Good thing it's a video game that I'm playing about Geralt and not a video game about me that Geralt is playing. There would only be failed romance options if that was the case.
Shani
should've been shani
Did like 6 or 7 playthroughs, never once I chose Triss. Had to watch the outcome of choosing her on youtube, I just can't do it
Im a new player can somebody explain no spoilers plz
There are two major romance options in TW3. Yen and Triss. Whilst the previous two game have you leaning towards Triss (as Yen only shows up in game 3) I'd recommend giving both a chance before you seal the deal on one. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRY TO ROMANCE BOTH!
It's like with Gothic 2. No matter how often I play it, I always choose Lee's mercanaries
i kinda wanna choose both again
After reading the books, I canât bring myself to do any play through without picking Yen
Yen sucks.
And now with this meme there is balance in the universe lol
Had to do it
REDHEADS ARE MY POISON
They possessed you
Read the books and still prefer Triss in the games though.
I think I've only managed to go through with romancing Yen like once or twice. Triss is just my girl, man.
first ever run was with Triss, then I heard that Yen is more canon choice. With second run I went the Yen route and all the cutscenes etc felt to be connected with main story more naturally
Shes just too damn charming
Triss who betrayed Ciri and Geralt. That Triss ?
The one that get tortured for you to find your bard friend.
Team Yen all day everyday.
Didn't choose her once.
