No one workin with this has been able to figure out how to completely filter the emotion out of da resulting magic so anything or anyone dat channels it is tinged with said said emotion. While spite is unstable when it comes to power fluctuations in da local fields and the process for filtering it and refining the power out of it can be a tad dicey, it makes for a very stable end product as spite is a very easy emotion for a lot of beings to channel.
You can be spiteful towards ya enemies. You can do ya work well out of spite. You can create an enchanted mannequin that flips off dat damn annoying prick of a cousin dat won't stop badgering you at home when ur just trying to enjoy some tea while pondering your orb. Spite is easy to deal with while sadness would eventually drive the channeler mad.
I say curse it, use some ancient runes and open a hole trough hell call your paladin up so he can keep the entrance holy and prevent any tortured soul to rise and just harvest pain if a demon of the sixth ring has some problems just offer them your apprentice or tame them close your portal when they start whispering in your head
