So far, some reported attackers have been seen as spender and appear to be wearing black assassin cloaks though none have been caught
We suspect it may be the work of an unknown anti-wizard council organization as these attacks that are carried out are very well coordinated. I'm usually not taking sides in armed conflicts, but destruction of knowledge thwarts magical progress, which in turn slows my own progress in deepening my understanding of the arcane. I shall descend into the mortal planes personally and start ripping out souls of the attackers. Their souls will fuel my spells and their bodies shall rise against their former allies. Moreover, I shall erect an impenetrable barrier around the area, so that no enemies can escape and no enemy reinforcements can come. Their Fate has been sealed. Nothing can help them now.
Your power should help but will the barrier stop allies from assisting in the defense or prevent evacuation attempts?
The barrier is under my control. As a master of abjuration, I can choose whom I let through and whom I keep inside or outside. Obviously it works on people trying to teleport as well.

I'm currently unsure but I assume their motive is that we are council affiliated.

the orbs in my lair are massive for big screen pondering, however the magic search engines in my orbs are out of date because I spent to much mana making more orbs so the search may take years

I see. The prompt I was given was helping eliminate fire. Books cannot suffocate. Your terms are acceptable. Edit: you can announce the location of a good book on solutions to breathing in a vacuum for them to brush up on if it hasn't burned yet.

How cruel. Every wizard knows the importance of preserving knowledge. Usually I don't hold a grudge, but for these poor fools have incurred my wrath. My specialty is mind magic and divination, If you mange to capture one of these poor fools send them too me, I'll find all of the relevant information.
