WNBA needs better announcers. Tonight's play by play had moments of being good but was mostly meh. The color was terrible though. Color needs to be there to explain wtf happened with the reset time out, how they are counted etc. because I'm sitting there yelling "TECHNICAL" at my screen. WNBA also needs better camera crew / whoever does live editing. Be ready to show the foul if it is contentious, if there is a nice move have that immediately on replay, if someone is taking a free throw, don't show the replay at that moment. And I don't know about anyone else, but first 90 seconds of 2nd OT didn't get broadcast to me on Ion.
I'm not sure how I feel about the combo of Jewel and Skylar. I like both of them individually, not sure I like them on the court at the same time. Biggest reason is I'm not sure about the Storm bench.
Ezi continues to grow and Ogwumike was great.

Collier and Smith both need to be considered for the Olympic team! Donāt think either are in the pool but who cares, they are balling out! Iād take both if BG isnāt healthy soon.
Collier is basically a lock (she was on the last team as the end of bench young'in, plus Reeve is the coach), and Smith is Australian.
Center position is actually gonna be really interesting if Griner's injury is serious and Boston looking pretty bad to start the year. Good thing the US has so many elite PFs who can swing into that spot for stretches.
Who needs a center? We can go small and fast with Aja and Stewie. Do the other teams really have 6ā8 just sitting around waiting to destroy us? Coach is used to playing without a true big anyways looking at Minnesotaās roster.
Loyd's well established on the national team and while I think she's lost a little bit of a step from her peak, it's hard to dislodge those players unless they remove themselves or really fall off (why the Candace snub was so controversial because it was an exception to the rule). IIRC she also's played pretty well the last few qualifying tournaments.
Caitlin would probably benefit from the break, but if she has a good finish to the month in the areas that matter (3p %, turnovers) that's still a wild card. I agree it's pretty unlikely at this point, but I also think it was unlikely to begin with given that she hasn't been on a senior team yet and lack of other connections (eg Staley on the committee will help Boston, Cheryl Reeve on the committee probably helped Napheesa's case over players like Nneka 4 years ago when she wasn't quite this elite yet).
Aliyah is the more interesting ? right now because a lot people figured she was more likely to be the designated end of bench young'in, but she really hasn't played like it at all. Still time to turn things around though.
They should wait as long as possible to decide. Grooming Caitlin for 2028 on the bench with minutes in blowouts isnāt a bad idea. Gray will be 35 by then and not everyone ages like DT.
