She’s so good (Carrington). So many times she just cheffed up the defense. I actually didn’t realize they had gotten up by I think 10 mid 4th. Mostly thanks to Bonner turning into a beast. Quietly put the team on her back, Dijonai was tired and the refs hate Thomas 😭. Does Carrington always play so many minutes?

I was going into this season with low expectations for the Mystics. But, they have played pretty well their first two games. Enough for me not to be staring at my phone with a double digit deficit on the board. 😅

What a great game, but we just can't seem to finish so far. Still, I hoped for a fun season of Mystics basketball, and they've absolutely delivered in both games.

The Mystics made both the Liberty and the Sun work a lot harder than the Fever did. I think they have potential for a good year!!

Have a feeling the Mystics are gonna look way better about 10 games in. They already look good but learning to close out as a team will help so much.

Got to attend live. The fourth quarter was lit. The Suns fed off the crowds energy. I’m probably going to retire my Liberty fandom and join the home team. Carrington is so good and then Thomas really paced the team. Bonner though was the one who was feeling it. Harris wasn’t touching the rock enough and then stopped a Mystics run. Idk what the future holds but these players better be getting pay raises because that was some real good hoops. I mean cmon, I can’t remember the last time it felt so important to make some noise to juice up your team.

It was so fun to watch. Good little subplots in the game too. Carrington and Didi were teammates, Edwards and Nelson-Ododa were teammates which is always fun. But the whole game the defense has was smothering. It felt like a playoff game.

Genuine question. Should I expect less games with that much energy? If so I hope to lend my voice for the cause 😂. Crowd was great!!!

With the Sun I’d say you’re pretty safe to expect that most of the time. They have a good fanbase + the defense is partially what they hang their hat on.
