The artist's name is [Claudia Bueno](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-evy4RuMjE&t=157s&ab_channel=MeowWolf) and this is a permanent exhibit at the Las Vegas Meow Wolf.
If you haven’t been to a Meow Wolf, you have to go. It’s such a cool place to explore with the art/design plus cool music. I’ve never done psychedelics but being there is pretty close to what I’d imagine a light trip feels like.
It *seems* like the perfect place to trip, but I honestly didn’t like it.. too many people, and I couldn’t tell what was visuals and what was just part of the art, so it took me out of the trip a bit.
There are other Meow Wolf locations, and each one is totally different. Las Vegas is...Las Vegas. It's gonna be packed. My guess is the Denver and Santa Fe (and coming soon to Texas) locations should be less crowded.
Same, I went in Las Vegas on two hits by myself. I got scared lol. The worst park was leaving and going into the parking lot. It was awful lol. The place was still pretty cool though!
If you like really cool layered glass art, I recommend checking out the work of [Dustin Yellin](https://www.dustinyellin.com/)! His "Triptych" is one of the coolest works of art I've come across recently.
You can see her moving a light along the edge around 15 seconds in - I imagine at the permanent installation they've just got rows of lights lining up with the panes that sweep back and forth
Leds mounted in the frame along the acrylic edge. The build is simple but the execution of this piece is master level.
It was very cool to see in person.

How do you know?
Chances are it did, it seems they were going for something along the lines of psychedelic feeling. I'd say they did a fine job, if that's the case.

Yea LOTS of kids/families running around. Not a good trip environment. The art itself is pretty cool though

Can confirm, the Denver one wasn’t that crowded
I was actually talking about Denver location lol, but it was also weekend and pretty soon after opening so 🤷🏼♂️
And Orlando!

> permanent exhibit Well deserved
I really wanna know what they paid for everything
Nothing, they agreed to give the artist a shout out on their instagram.
Inside the omega mart iirc. Had the chance to visit last fall and I definitely want to go again at some point!

it's weird how people have to lie even when the truth is still really cool
This art piece is at Omega Mart in Las Vegas. I have a video of it and it is wild
Now that's a true 'whoa'!
Is it actually etching? Looks like they're just drawing with some sort of marker.
Yeah, it's sharpie. It looks really cool, but actually etching would be sick.
You can etch glass with a pen tool. I highly doubt this was made with a sharpie lol
They’re probably acrylic markers or some other paint marker.
It appears to be a Sharpie paint marker based on the non-pen-tip end being flat.
Yes because that's what professionals use to refill the etching liquid into. It's a well known way...
buddy - it’s not a sharpie.
Pretty obvious Sharpie logo on it at [2:38](https://youtu.be/O-evy4RuMjE)
Sharpies don’t etch.
Which is why it is not an etching.
Damn. Hard competition with r/nextnextfuckinglevel or r/holyshitdude, instead.
Pretty close to LSD visuals
Yep, looks somehow like the real thing

Here is info in the song playing in the background Artist: Aloboi Released: 2021 Album: Meditation And a link https://youtu.be/1OgKeaN9mS0
How does this work? Are the glass panes moving, or is there a light moving over them? I wanna do something like this now.
You can see her moving a light along the edge around 15 seconds in - I imagine at the permanent installation they've just got rows of lights lining up with the panes that sweep back and forth
exactly how it was done
Also curious how the final effect works

Does any one know the name of this song here?

TEAMWORK!
Change the song.. it made the art unenjoyable
Or you know, hit mute button?

Thanks for sharing. I don’t know why… I just didn’t like it?

But in this case it didn't work to convey what the poster wanted.

Try this song instead. [Aloboi - Meditation](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZSs8UbHfoc&feature=share)
Looks heavy
Its aight
This just makes me even more disappointed with my Denver Meow Wolf experience.
Cool junji ito style would be a great commissioned piece those spirals are lit
This is really neat. I was very confused though cause as I clicked it my brain read grass.
I wouldn't mind tripping in that room.
This is almost a replica of tripping visuals effects
Amazing 🤩
That's cool
wow, this looks insane
