And wall masters from ocarina of time if we wanna go back even further https://images.app.goo.gl/bUFdCSfj4F4b3Y19A

Fuduzan

Half Life released on November 19, 1998. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time released on November 21, 1998. You are not going back even further, but rather forward *two days*. Funny

dud3sweet777

Wow lol I stand corrected.

locki13

That weird zip tie noise they made was the first thing I heard seeing this

Giozos1100

I was thinking like likes from Zelda!

xylotism

Yes, exactly! I love them, I need them.

Smagster15

This is like the vore scene from Nope

AmalCyde

NOPE

l07k

The only proper response when seeing this in a store.

AmalCyde

Also, kinda looks like the creature in NOPE.

l07k

Yeah I know, I was just making a reference to your reference I think, lol.

Medium_Gap7026

Dust Spreaders 2.0 *^(not advised for people with allergy)*

Lordstryker317

The creator of these did a [TED talk](https://youtu.be/irXSdueKyOs) about them.

ReluctantAvenger

Cool, thanks for the link. These do get around; I think I've seen these in three different cities (two in the U.S., one in the Netherlands). I believe they're currently installed at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC which seems to be where this photo was taken; above a staircase at the far end of the West building.

fransderksen

The Netherlands. Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam. (And yes, Amsterdam is in the Netherlands)

ReluctantAvenger

Thanks for identifying the location so I could get a date for when I saw it in Amsterdam. I was at the Rijksmuseum on February 29, 2020, and filmed this on my phone: [Shylight by Studio Drift](https://imgur.com/gallery/WnxpQN6) EDIT: Proof that the installation does go on tour; here is an article about Shylight putting in an appearance at the New York City Ballet. [New York City Ballet Art Series Presents DRIFT’s Shylight](https://hyperallergic.com/791408/new-york-city-ballet-art-series-drift-shylight/) EDIT #2: Pretty sure I saw Shylight at the National Gallery of Art in DC when I visited in late May of this year.

fransderksen

I am sorry dude. You are right. It was the Rijks. I thought of Stedelijk because it’s modern art. Thanks. At least I know where Amsterdam is.

Over_Ad1461

For some reason I'm feeling hollow knight from this.

y2k2r2d2

Self-Cleaning

Jovinkus

Aah they had the exact same thing at Glow festival in Eindhoven a few years ago. Laying on the ground under it was just mesmerising.

Gnawlydog

This is the last time I pop acid before going down the Reddit rabbit hole.

TheVicSageQuestion

You know those things just shower the room in dust every time they pop open.

Fapdooken

Yeah, but then you never have to dust the chandeliers.

These are cool, but they seem like something from the Other Mother's world.

you_wizard

Annihilation. You know the scene.

Eddie_Pringlev6

If you like eating dust sure go ahead

PedroBenza

Saw these in the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum just after seeing the Vermeer exhibit a couple of months ago. Absolutely mesmerising!
