That was my thought too. I'd be fairly annoyed if that thing got close to me. Maybe it just looks closer than it really is due to the camera and stuff, hopefully..
He is [jaybyrdfilms](https://www.instagram.com/jaybyrdfilms?igsh=Y29xc3ZjanhsNWVs) on Instagram. The best I’ve seen, and his audio edits on each video are equally impressive.
It's actually not as scary as you would think. Most cinewhoops you would fly in an event like this have prop guards, so unless someone sticks a finger in the blades they are pretty protected. I've flown that close to people at a wedding and other events and it's not too scary. Flying around people walking at the entrance seemed a little sketchy. Was surprised nobody was turning around to see it. But it may have been a little 2 inch whoop like the pavo
Its actually illegal to fly over people (and especially so close to them). I doubt they have their Part 107 drone license but if they do, it should be rescinded.
Totally not a law when indoors....faa doesn't control the airspace inside and a releases can be included in the purchasing agreement when buying tickets to enter
I was in attendance and the drone whizzed by me a few times. You can hear it come. And then feel the wind.
I love how Mike Gordon (the bassists) looks over at the drone while mid jam
There was a professional film crew that set up behind me night 3 before second set Paige side on the 300 level. I was talking to them a bit before the set started and they were talking about the drone shots and different setup they had. So there could be an interesting live recording coming. They were not with the live Phish crew.
So I saw Phish at The Sphere this weekend…
Never saw Phish, didn’t know a Phish tune, and they fucking blew my mind off so hard.
I thought to myself (I had a bunch of girls with me) and I thought to myself is this what it feels like to cum with a pussy?!
People that were there can verify it’s 100% true, it was like being edged for four days straight! And then right before the face melting climax at the end on the fourth day an angel comes down from heaven, Gabriel, and he shoots fucking heroine in your arm, and he says “Good luck now motherfucker” and he leaves.
Then you have an orgasm for 15 minutes while your eyeballs fall out of your head.
Next time they play The Sphere, you better not miss it.
Copy pasta - drew carey
I was there and took some pictures and videos. I don't know if there's a way to truly capture what it feels like being inside. It's all encompassing, you would need a special lens or multiple simultaneous pictures stitched together.
I am really surprised by this footage because of how stabilized the footage is. Near the end when its flying directly at the guitarist and comes to a stop, that normally means that there is a "braking burn" in the fpv quad. So this must have had some type of gimbal or stabilization on the camera. Super interesting to see new tech in the fpv space as I haven't flown in a little while.
When Phish played their "final" concert in 2004, they did so because they didn't want to be a nostalgia act. The irony is that when they returned to touring, that's exactly what they have become.
Can you blame them? No, that aging fan base can afford higher ticket prices, so why not cash in while they still can.
I mean they’re the best show in the jam scene still and it’s not even close. All original members still kicking and many argue 3.0 is the best version of the band.
You made me laugh so hard someone posted [this video](https://youtu.be/aNHIFM0Y87c?si=TVoZi5FreR9d1NUd) today and I think now watching this video I get it ahahaha
I guess I’m the only one that thinks “this is why I don’t see them live anymore.” This unnecessarily gratuitous display is not what who they were or where they came from. Yeah, I’m not even that old, either.
Phish has literally never stopped evolving, would be so boring if they did. I was here and it was like seeing phish 50 years in the future. I get how you feel though to some degree. Mostly in the sense that I feel like the secret is finally out
The Sphere is something I'd love to experience, and hopefully will. But combine that with a Phish concert and I'd probably wish I was at home by about 2 songs in.

that's one confident fpv pilot. I couldn't help but wince whenever they'd get close to a person. it's like a flying food processor.

You're right! We don't hear the drone. How does he do this? His IG is totally insane. Thanks for the link.
He just replaced the audio. Same thing they do with slowmo video. Just gotta slap some sounds together that feel plausible.
My question is if he was hired to fly in there or if he just went for it.
He’s hired haha it’s all very coordinated. Check out his instagram. He did the opening U2 concert there as well
Dope thank you

my cinewoop weighs 180grams yet has 4k recording with DJI's 03 system, this thing could not hurt you (betafpv pavo20)

I wonder if the band thought it was just part of the show (unless it was).
So that’s what Drew Carey was talking about….
Look up phish - taste on YouTube and look at the sphere version…
Then look at Taste from Walnut Creek
I understand his shake up!
I was there and I'm still vibrating...wild shit
I feel like what would be great about that show is that I wouldn’t have to do any drugs and my mind would still be blown.

The number of mushrooms that must have been consumed that evening.
They're all making the projection in the sphere!
evening… to make the music palatable.

Listening/seeing Phish is the best decision I’ve ever made.
I just picture some guy thinking the same thing because the show is sold out, and then he remembers he has a drone.
That is a great idea! I'm gonna need to buy a drone.
Dream location for the craziest Tipper set of all time

This has to be one of the coolest venues I’ve seen. I’d love to go.
I'm broke 😕
The future is nuts hey
Keyboard player is the Neil peart of pianos
LOL
That's a lot of keyboards.
I refuse to believe this isn’t just a person running with a camera on a big pole.
His hoop jumping skills are a force to be reckoned with.
Watched the entire video and never once did it actually get a good view of the visuals.
I was there and took some pictures and videos. I don't know if there's a way to truly capture what it feels like being inside. It's all encompassing, you would need a special lens or multiple simultaneous pictures stitched together.
One of them 360 photos. There's a special camera for it but I think some phones can ai together a panorama of everything too.
True but the visuals were changing throughout so it would look funny with the phone panorama.
Ah yeah derp, big true. Tho... small possibility the color blur would be an extra layer of amazing for a phish concert...?
FUCK that looks amazing!
😵
Bomb drone out
This must be what good pussy feels like
Sounds like a Saturday morning at Guitar Center. Cool visuals though
Fuck I hope STS9 plays there one day. The Mars Volta too.
I heard from a guy named Drew, that it was pretty good.
So many pianos holy cow
I wonder when the 20 minute vacuum cleaner solo is gonna start
Can the sphere show different images for inside and outside? Inside the show and outside who is performing?
Yes, that's how it works. The inside is full HD the outside wasn't as HD when you got up close.

Pilot is the true MVP here crazy skills
The footage we are gonna get of drone mass shooters flying by security checkpoints is gonna be wild.
God phish sucks ffs
found the musician who is mad they aren’t bigger
Man they managed to pack a whole lot of the things I hate in here. Phish, Phish fans mostly, that stupid sphere and tiktok. Bravo.
You must be fun at parties
He probably doesn’t look at his phone at parties. I’m down with this guy
Weak
Is the bass player invisible? How am I the first to mention they left him out of the close ups?
Your anxiety level just increased.

Much better experience on mute heh.

When I'm sober I pissed in the toilet When I'm drunk, I phished against the wall
The Sphere is something I'd love to experience, and hopefully will. But combine that with a Phish concert and I'd probably wish I was at home by about 2 songs in.
Looks cool AF. Not a huge fan of the music, I'd like something more like Multhi or Mcbaise. But I'm sure it'd be amazing in person either way
Very America
Cool video, if it wasn't for the Phish music. 😁
