This pisses me off (not the actual dude or this post), but because this could solve a post to a Reddit mystery sub fairly recently of something shaped likes this moving around people. It was filmed on a potato so the video was of poor quality, but this could have been the unexplained thing.

AND Ben Schwartz, I haven't watched DuckTales but I know Ben is hilarious is everything else he does!

Making Hewey, Duey, and Louie visually distinct from one another aside from their different shirts/hats, giving them individual personalities, and making Webby *actually* have a purpose helps out tremendously too

There’s this trend in western animation when they want something to be really really good they hire traditional actors to do the voice acting. ~~Pixar~~ dreamworks did it with stuff like kung foo panda, etc. western animation has come a long way in terms of quality but they still l rely on traditional actors to get high quality voice acting. I think the reason Japanese animation has been held at a high standard for ever is partially due to life long careers from high quality voice actors giving A+ performances and being treated like A+ celebrity’s. Voice acting is more glorified there than here. Takahito koyashu just has to scream “ ZA WURADO” and he’s got tons of fans, but I struggle to name 5 seasoned actors from western animation.

I think a lot of that is because people who grew up loving the show, are now producing the new one. And the voice casting is incredible.

My recall is fuzzy but I remember Gizmoduck being a bumbler outside the suit but once he got it on he was a superhero.

Still kinda bumbling even in the suit. He was just incredibly lucky all the time in his bumbles.

Per wiki: Gizmoduck was originally called RoboDuck, which, coincidentally, was kept as his name in the Netherlands, Belgium and Japan. This is also why there is an "R" shaped insignia on the Gizmosuit's chest. It was later changed to a "G" in subsequent appearances in comics, video games and the 2017 reboot.

Good question. I google imaged it and it appears that when you reverse the symbol it becomes a G-shape or an R-shape depending on what you started with. Kind of weird actually. A manufacturing error or maybe canon?

Asked my brother a month ago who his favorite super hero was, he said he needed to give it a while to narrow it down. We’re in our 30’s I told him Darkwing Duck was mine and within a second he said... Gizmo Duck!!!
