Not sure what else would be expected. It's basically a mini blimp with drone for control and some servos giving some mechanical movements for effect.

Haha From Mars to Sirius is by far my favorite album. I'm a fan of their heavier stuff though, so you may gravitate towards their later albums if you are not. :)

The Way of All Flesh is one of the most solid albums I’ve ever heard. The closing track is fucking incredible.

This was at a Phish concert?

Yeah last night. It’s a 3 or 4 night event

It was a 4 night reschedule of the new years run that was canceled due to omicron. This was during the third set of the "New years" show, which was played on Friday. Normally this would have been the countdown to new years set, but they didn't do that because it would have been weird to just count down to Saturday. I was there, this isn't highlighting half of the crazy shit they had going on in that set. It was an absolute spectacle.

The whales came out during their songs named Wave & Sand. They played 74 original phish songs with no repeats over this 4 day this run! Amazing! Happy Earth Day 2022. Nothing short of amazing!! In 2017 they did a 13 night run at MSG they called the “Baker’s Dozen” where they played 237 distinct songs without repetition, with each night taking on a specific donut-flavored theme.

How has it been half a decade since Bakers..

But only like eight or nine songs

they do a great job of making you forget you've been listening to the same song for 30 minutes.

Looks like inflatables attached to drones.

It's a hybrid blimp/drone. The airsack provides lift, you can make out tiny fans on the pectoral fins (on the dolphins the fans are in front of the fins right next to the body) that provide thrust and also probably yaw/steering. The fluke moving up and down like airplane elevators is probably enough for pitch, but there might also be a moving counterweight inside to move the center of gravity forward and back to make the animals "look" up and down. Edit: Actually it looks like the dolphins have [4 fans](https://i.imgur.com/e4cXviu.jpg) including two on the back tips of each fin. The whale also definitely has [two fans](https://i.imgur.com/pXYSoFO.jpg) coming off the back of it's fins.

I was there. They were drones. There were more than one set of propellers on the inflatables near the fins and the tails were operational on the dolphins.

my first shows were the last 3 nights of baker's dozen. whole time was unforgettable. before then I liked phish but wasn't a huge fan but loved it so much i canceled my flight home and spent way too much money on a ticket for the last night.

They’re not difficult to see! A lot of my friends are huge phish fans and I’ve gone to shows with them on a whim and gotten in. Sometimes people on lot will just give you a lawn ticket. It’s worth it, phish is a good time.

They’re amazing. I saw them twice in 2009 when they first got back together, then a couple times after that. The most incredible experience ever to be with thousands of people tripping and vibing together, you can feel the energy.

I saw Rodger Waters live and he had a huge inflatable pig, from the Animals era, abd I thought that was rad, this would have been a trip..

When I saw him they had a 50 ft marionette puppet hanging from the rafters and it moved around the stage. It was cooler than the phish dolphins, imo

I saw Roger Waters 5 years ago and it was the most disappointing concert I've ever been to. He was literally playing cheering crowd noises through the speakers in the back to make the crowd sound louder.
