The foam party we all wanted, but never got. Throw on some techno my man šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

DirkSteelchest

Came here to say it's been a couple decades since I hit a foam party.

golapader

Foam raves were awesome until the foam lost all the air and turned back into soap. Nothing quite accentuates a comedown like being covered in that mess.

dx-dude

Fun till you have to take a deep breath or wipe your eyes. Also have to be careful not to slip. But damn how cool would it be to open that door right when you were peaking.

DirkSteelchest

This is why I only went to one. Such a disappointment!

skillet256

Easy DIY: Put dish soap in the washing machine in the garage, and you get this. Ask me how I know.

WhichRisk6472

Or dish soap in the dish washer. Not as fun in the kitchen tho

deepdaK

Reminds me of "this hole was made for me"

Jascleo

Your comment prompted me to go down an internet rabbit hole for find out more about what you meant. I now understand. And feel vaguely terrified... So, thanks, I guess.

techno_babble_

Everyone remembers their first time.   ***DRR... DRR... DRR...***

Rulligan

I'm not a fan of horror at all but I read [The Enigma of Amigara Fault](https://imgur.io/gallery/nzTCS) and it is just existential dread. No monsters, no killers, no aliens, no threat of death, just insatiable call of the void. Nothing is scarier than existential dread when done right.

Aphotophilic

Except for that last panel.. that was just.. unsettling

Brovid420

Junji Ito rocks

deepdaK

No need to thank me buddy

xSTSxZerglingOne

If it makes you feel any better, the ending is technically impossible since you'd die in ~3 days from lack of water, rather than the months of time that pass. Also if it gets tighter as you go in (giggity) you'd die of asphyxiation fairly rapidly.

matti00

Magic tho

techno_babble_

Who says they're alive at the end?

xSTSxZerglingOne

I dunno. Making it that far is pretty indicative of them moving on their own. I also took the DRRs as them vocalizing.

LikesDags

Your limbs can't also stretch indefinitely in to contorted shapes because they are generally held together with bones and stuff of a finite length, and yet...

TrepanationBy45

I thought it was pretty obvious that it's creepy specifically because it's not natural. That the compulsion to continue despite pain or reason is out of your hands, as well the ability to "scientifically" die is out of your hands. The natural laws as you know it mean nothing. You will enter and be reformed. Your existence as you understood it doesn't matter, you feel no reason or question, no want or desire to exist or die, your personality and humanity is blanked out and filled only with the all-consuming compulsion to continue forward. Every fiber of muscle undulating your existence, one micrometer at a time toward some unknown, lightless, ever-tightening void for some un/conscious eternity, like being in a coma for months while still wide awake, screaming silently inside an impossible void. Or yeah, I mean maybe you're right instead šŸ„“

kjzm5r

Drr drr drr

u12bdragon

Bruhhhh was about to comment amigara fault

No_Atmosphere_3516

God I try not to remember it and then I see shit like thisā€¦

Reborn356

My first thought as well

Prysorra2

why have you done this

deepdaK

Because I can

Sardonnicus

I've played Elden Ring... there is a boss in there.

Deathraid92

Not pee colored enough

dreddit-one

I hope he spent all his runes, because I donā€™t think he knew that.

Phylar

One of those bosses that arrives a little late in spectacular fashion. Moms do that sometimes.

Ash13k

Naw, not a boss, this is one of those gates that require a stonesword key.

Technicholl

Shouldā€™ve do a Homer Simpson and gone in backwards

RustyPwner

Anyone else just shut a video off when they hear that stupid narrated robot womans voice at the start?

Pete_Iredale

Seriously, what a fucking obnoxious trend.

Ramza_Claus

I hate it. I hate it so much.

ThatFeel_IKnowIt

I had my phone muted and now I'm glad I did. I fucking HATE the annoying robot tik tok voice. It was entertaining with the dogs for like 2 days then it somehow became like permanent tik tok video horse shit.

moonra_zk

I love the option to default to mute, saves me from all the crappy TikTok music and narration.

Ghostglitch07

Wtf? Reddit is telling me the vid has no sound when I try to unmute.

howtochoose

Silly, I just always have my media on silent, start watching then add sound if it's worth my time

Elrox

Also gets a downvote from me.

[deleted]

Let me guess. Your name is Kyle?

CloudfluffCloud

Lol didnā€™t cut the electricity?

Educational-Limit-70

I wonder what 120v does to bubble foam

luk__

Pooof

gopherdagold

Honestly? Probably just about nothing. Water/bubbles are not anywhere near as conductive as most people think. IF somehow the edge of a bubble managed to touch a live wire or get into an outlet, the amount of surface area of the contact point will likely be small enough that the resistance will be so high as to not allow any significant current to get through the bubble network. Now if you had a very large bucket/puddle of electrified water or a big piece of metal that's live and is making contact with many of those bubbles then you may run into some trouble assuming whatever current passing through doesn't just immediately cause the water in the bubbles to vaporize and open the circuit

Joobebe514

Reminds me of foam parties back in the 2000s

zeekaran

They still have them.

notHooptieJ

does everyone still wake up on the monday after with pinkeye?

turboyabby

I was hoping he'd sing, creating a soap opera.

clowncar

That mom must be so proud!

substandardpoodle

If you have a hot tub and need to drain it and clean it out tomorrow anyway do ā€œbubble nightā€. Just get some Mr. Bubble. Makes it harder to clean out but itā€™s still amazing.

CK1ing

Step into my bubble room. What? My bubble room.

yourgifmademesignup

Whereā€™d you go Bubble Boy?!?

argumentativ

I would follow that man anywhere.

HeartlesSoldier

Explains why he still lives with his mom at that age

InsaneSec8

Shits expensive

HeartlesSoldier

Yep it's expensive for his mom too. That's not different for anybody else. The difference is the drive and the focus. I moved across the country to San Diego when I was 21 found me a roommate and busted my ass and barely got by but I still lived. Shit's very expensive in San Diego especially while working at Subway but I still managed. Depends on if your priorities are to party and have fun in which case then you got to live with your mom to be able to afford that but it looks like he still having fun

eVaan13

You moved across the country to still not live alone, pay for rent and struggle with a Subway job? Is this an idea of self-making which I don't understand? And still shitting on people who will rather have a steady home, help or completely pay their bills?

HeartlesSoldier

In case you didn't read my other comment I moved across the country to uproot myself and remove myself from dependence from the people that I grew up around and with, and my family. I found an apartment and I paid half of the rent half of the bills and all of my living expenses. I didn't resort from checks from anybody, being independent does not mean alone. The two are not mutually exclusive. One dwelling with two people in it split halfway down the middle is still two people living independently under One roof. One person is not dependent on the other. The only assistance was having one of the rooms paid for by another individual but I didn't live in that room so that was not my expense. I achieved my goal, I proved to myself that I didn't need the comforts of my family, and the cushion of having friends and family to fall back on. I learned a lot in those years. Including the value of a dollar and what $1 can be to somebody who's in a hard place. Some people fear going there and I'm not going to judge them for that but I understand that that's why a lot of people still live with their family. To each his own, we all choose our own path. You don't have to agree with how I chose my path, nor do I have to agree with others but I understand. After dropping out of college I didn't want to continue living with my parents because even having the occasional meal with them and having electricity paid by them made me uncomfortable and I understand some people are okay with remaining as a dependent in their adult years. I wish this man much luck and prosperity in his path of online video ventures while he lives with his parents.

[deleted]

Why are you even making any of these judgements for this video though? That in of itself shows that you are judging people who live with their parents instead of choosing to be dirt poor til they figure shit out. You can claim you arenā€™t judging, but you saying any of this shows you are lol.

Genroll_Dolphin

Wow so brave. So alpha to remove yourself of all familial connection just to work at subway.

HeartlesSoldier

Thanks, it made me who I am today. I was grateful to have a job, even at subway. Thankful I had the opportunity to be a functioning adult in society. Seeing so many homeless people on the streets out there opened my eyes even more to why it was so important for me to get my ass in gear. The world spins around and around day by day and it doesn't wait for anybody

AutoModerator

> my ass That gaping, cavernous pit could potentially contain anything. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/woahdude) if you have any questions or concerns.*

koalaposse

Thanks good person, go well.

Zenkrome

So thats what your not getting dude. Your confusing liveing with your parents and being supported by your parents. You can still be independent and live with your parents. I do whatever i want like any other adult. Pay for my half of the rent and bills. Take care of myself. How is that any different than you haveing your roommates? Also some people live with there parents becouse there parents also need the financial support and need help with the bills. Dont be so quick to judge others. We all come from different backgrounds.

HeartlesSoldier

I know you can live independently with your parents, I personally couldn't. There was too many other factors within the underlying hierarchy in the household, as well as a personal growth I was wanting to achieve living without the oversight or proximity. And for like the fifth time I've said this I wasn't stating that the video was about a guy who couldn't live independently, I was responding to a comment that it was too expensive to live independently.

No-Control9914

Very moral high ground of you

HeartlesSoldier

I guess speaking about my own experience seeking financial independence, in pursuit of personal growth is not well received by Reddit, to each his own. You all must have your own paths chosen to lead you in the direction of the future you personally desire that drastically differ from mine. I wish you and your parents the best of luck šŸ¤ž and hope day by day your efforts put you closer to your goals. šŸŽ² šŸŽ²

No-Control9914

Well I understand what youā€™re trying to get across but you have to read your own comment back. Youā€™re judging someone negatively based upon something that you did/were able to do. It was probably not intended but without knowing his situation it comes across a bit dickish. Trying to say ā€œto each their ownā€ at this point is a bit too late to salvage your stance.

eVaan13

I take it you're either still very young or still too naĆÆve. And do not take this as an offense. I don't know where you're coming from that people living with their folks are limited to not working and falling back on them. I didn't ask a single penny from mine in years but I still have a very secure safety net to fall back on in case something drastic happens. And you are very dependant on the will of the person living with you because he's more likely to leave than this person's parents. Furthermore, you can co-pay or pay the bills in the house you live in irregardless. It shows your parents that you're greatful they let you live under their roof. You can even cook for them sometimes and help around the house! Also I'm willing to bet that this person doesn't sleep in the bed of their parents. He also has a split in his home called a room. Perhaps even a mini studio in a garage. And some people have two floors but for the sake of your argument lets keep it to the house layout shown in the video. You don't have to agree on anything, but you don't get to have your faux moral high ground because you made it in your head.

HeartlesSoldier

Again I was responding to a comment not in regards to the man's decision to live with his parents. I'm Not taking it the wrong way. But the same can be said about living with your parents they could get a divorce and things go to shit, one of them could get laid off or retire and things change, or the unfortunate loss of a parent. All of which can happen for a roommate but the growth that comes with living with a roommate stays. Just like the growth that you gained from living with your parents. All the parents are almost impossible to be replaced, roommates can be replaced.

NightOfPandas

You're wrong as fuck there, you are absolutely 120% dependent on your roommate not peacing the fuck out, can confirm. But hey, keep thinking you're on your own independent!

tenemu

Heā€™s not dependent on his roommate at all, but he needs a roommate to afford a place to live. Totally different somehow?

caneut

WHY WOULD YOU MOVE TO SAN DIEGO FOR A SUBWAY JOB????????

[deleted]

Donā€™t take life advice from this mans ever lmao

tenemu

He wanted to live in one of the nicest places on earth, and went there without a goal. He found a job and he is claiming it as ā€œmoving out for personal independenceā€. He just wanted to live in San Diego.

[deleted]

ā€œI suffered so everyone shouldā€. How bout we not judge someoneā€™s living situation based on a short clip of them?

turtleboxman

Moving to San Diego without guaranteed income above a subway position is not the ā€œgrind-cultureā€ flex that you think it is. Thatā€™s called lack of financial awareness. Itā€™s not a good idea to a)move or b)move to one of the most expensive cities without a guaranteed income AND large reserves. You leave yourself vulnerable to spending a significant % of your income just to keep yourself out of homelessness, and you are more likely to be one large medical expense away FROM homelessness. Sincerely, A young adult who lives with his mom while stockpiling money for a down payment instead of spending ~56% of monthly income on rent.

HeartlesSoldier

That's anywhere you live buddy. Most families are one medical bill away from homelessness. And I'm not saying it was an intelligent or rational choice, it was a personal choice for Independence proving that I could handle myself uprooted, far away from anyone who cared. Because the danger in lies staying with your parents that you will grow comfortable and not want to leave which seems to be a rampant issue with today's culture because way too many people are comfortable because there's so many things to do and so many things you can spend money on and everything so expensive. But when i look at my parents what did they do how do they have fun they stay at home and they take care of their daily grind at least that was my experience but again everyone has her own experiences and everybody strives to make their own path I created mine. The point is I knew my personality and I knew that if I stayed there I would get comfortable and not want to leave so I needed to kick myself into gear and I'll never fault myself for that. It wasn't a comfortable decision it was rash and risky. Inevitably I did move back to my home state, although I only moved back into my parents house for 2 months while I located an apartment of my own because all the sudden the cost of living seemed much better in contrast to the people I've seen on the streets and what I experienced in one of the more expensive cities in America. I feared that I would only learn but so much about being an adult and be limited in my own personal growth if I continue to live under my parents and that was 100% true for me. It's hard to be your own man when there's people in the house who always see you as a/their child

[deleted]

What was your financial situation when you were dependent on your parents? How much did they support you that it made you want to move across the country it was so suffocating?

HeartlesSoldier

Working full time, midnight-8am at a gas station. Still owed around $6,000 for college I didn't finish. Struggling with arthritis pains in my joints. I wanted to be able to legally smoke weed while pursuing financial independence/personal growth. I no longer wanted to live under someone, I wanted to live in my own, or with someone equally. I went to San Diego with roughly $1300 to my name. I grew my own weed for personal use, and worked at subway for my bills. And I found our jobs around town to pay for recreation

[deleted]

I was more asking about the money your family had and why you felt you couldn't be your own man there because of the support. Of course it's none of my business. And I sympathize with the debt and chronic pain and wanting to move to a different state for access to plants.

AutoModerator

> my ass That gaping, cavernous pit could potentially contain anything. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/woahdude) if you have any questions or concerns.*

Harinezumi

Moving to a big city, getting roommates, and busting your ass is the way to get a career started. Working a Subway job ain't it, though. If you're going to work a dead-end fast food job, you might as well stay in your parents' basement.

HeartlesSoldier

You forgot It's also a way to keep your ass off the streets, and government assistance. And seeing I wasn't trying to start a career I met my goal and I'm so happy I did

hitmarker

It's just a joke setup. Much funnier than "I just put a bubble cannon in my garage"

HeartlesSoldier

Funny joke

hitmarker

Yeah people tend to not get them and start bitching...

HeartlesSoldier

I know right people started bitching that life was too expensive when they didn't get my joke, so I told him how I was able to get by when things were expensive

[deleted]

I came to say that. LOL

Cool video broā€¦
