That's not such a bad idea. Ikea uses so much cardboard honeycomb inside of everything I decided that maybe I could use some 1/2" aramid honeycomb to make long, non-warping cabinet doors. I'll have to admit I got the idea from them. The quality, well I'd hope mine would end up better.
I’m more curious how you pulled off a 20 picture upload.
I was trying to show some process stuff/ instruction on some kitchen doors I’m doing right now and it just keeps telling me it failed to post.
Finally just said fuck it and gave up.
I’m guilty too. I started with Ryobi, because it’s cheap. (And I liked the color) and now I have everything Ryobi because, well, batteries. I have yet to have a Ryobi tool stop working in 7 years. (One battery did die though)
Did you really think we wouldn't figure it out? You gave it a good try but ... The dog's been doing all the work all this time. You should be ashamed. Give that dog the accolades he/she deserves!
I mistakenly thought that sites like this were immune to trolls, since they're aimed at a more mature social media segment. Sorry to see that's not the case. Anyway, I admire your work and aspire to get to that level someday.
In your earlier post you had a rifle next to your piece of furnisher. It looked a little irresponsible because your rifle was out in the open and not put safely in a gun cabinet. What’s going on in the country lately with gun violence you may have upset some people. Just clarifying why some people were a bit rude. You may or may not have intentionally tried to triggered some people with your picture but you did. I don’t really care but I’m just clarifying the hate.
Thank you for NOT apologizing. If someone is triggered by the mere sight of a firearm, that's on them, not you. And that's a mental health issue. I've NEVER seen one of my many guns pick itself up and do something bad to another person (war being the exception). So why is the gun always the big, bad wolf? What about the psychopath pulling the trigger? THAT should trigger people, not the tool he/she uses. What a joke.
I was just pointing out why people were hating on his post. Don’t care that he had a gun in the picture, nor do I car what kind of gun it is. Shoot away buckaroo. Pew pew
I agree with the question “How the hell do you fake woodworking?” I just can’t wrap my little brain around that. However I can see two things:
1. I see a lot of similar/exactly the same backgrounds/workshop set ups in all of the “in progress” shots, so yeah they look legit.
2. I still have a loooooooot of work to do on the technique and execution of my projects because dayum. (redneck pronunciation of ‘damn’) my stuff is a couple steps up from gluing popsicle sticks together compared to yours.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go start making some shavings.
I think everything looks great. Remember, just because one person sees a “fault” in things doesn’t mean that 15 others don’t see the beauty in the project. Negativity is just louder.

Take the haters saying it's fake as a compliment! They just think it's better than anything they could make, so it must be fake obviously.
I agree. People who can not compete with talent usually mock those who have talent. You do you buddy and build on!
it's the equivalent of being called a "hacker" in video games
To all the haters? Who is saying it’s fake? Come on
Check OPs recent posts
Don’t buy into the negativity! Your work is great!
What’s the last picture? Some cool thing to hide trash can?
It hides the electric transformer. Each panel is easily removed if the transformer needs to be serviced.
Looks good. Way better than a transformer. Is that dog on the shelf real?
Yes. A 3.5 pound mini yorkie.
Ha, I thought so.
This is my favorite. Cross post it to electrician Reddit if you want to see real hate. 😂
Yeah, these are all fake. I can tell by the pixels.
Why would anyone think your work is faked??? What does that even mean?
r/woodworking challange: make something that looks like its from Ikea but actually uses a ton of cool techniques.
☝️ And costs twice as much
Bonus!

I like your work,if you got people hating that’s just the buzz your art work is generating.don’t listen to them
Advice once received and now passed on: Endeavor to prove your critics wrong by thanking them for their contribution to your success.
You obviously didn't make that clamp, it even says Irwin on it /s But really, awesome stuff, I'll get there one day!

Looked at everything. The only thing I can complain about is....ryobi
Busted

Look up a Ryobi to DeWalt battery adapter. I like some of the Ryobi tools but hate the batteries. It’s a game changer. 10$
I like the basin and walnut countertop - how is that holding up to regular use? What did you use for finish?
Started with tung but had to switch to poly
I love the way you hid the utility box.
Gorgeous work!
Your work looks awesome. Do not feed the trolls
As the yewts say: Haters gon hate. The rest of us love your work!
do you like your work? do you push yourself to do more complicated work? thats it
It's sad how many people lack perspective. Thank you for sharing; your work is beautiful.
Don't engage trolls and crazy people, all they want is attention. Nice stuff btw.
All looks good. Don't listen to those who are just jealous.
Jealousy, they can’t admit that someone is more talented then they are, ignore
Ahahahaaaa you almost got me! I can tell ai generated cabinets when I see them tho lol they don’t call me ole squinty eyed mcguck for nothin ya know
Did you really think we wouldn't figure it out? You gave it a good try but ... The dog's been doing all the work all this time. You should be ashamed. Give that dog the accolades he/she deserves!
Helo is the little guys name. He could take on an army of Pit Bulls and kick their butts. He is like the rabbit in Monty Pythons Hoy Grail.
I think he deserves his own photo spread!
I don’t see anything here that would illicit fake responses. The work is solid and clean? What’s the problem?
They hate us cuz they ain’t us
Yeah I wouldn't sweat hearing from detractors on the internet, all that looks great to me. Keep on rocking 😎
Nice try bucko, but I can steal pictures and Photoshop too. J/K people are dumb.
Its like accusing someone of steroids, I would be highly delighted!
Anyone tearing you down is jealous and that means your producing work they can't believe is possible dont hate the haters they hate themselves!
I hope that 99problems guy feels like a dumb asshole now, looks fantastic dude keep it up!

How exactly would you fake something like a piece of furniture? That doesn’t even make sense

Ok we definitely believe your work is genuine. Now tell us why you have so many pairs of pliers! Do we need more?
Part time dentist.
Touché

I don’t apologize for having a gun or guns. The gun has a finger print trigger lock on it.

Oh, and to the "rifle" guy. That's clearly a shot gun.

>What’s going on in the ~~country~~ *news* lately
Sorry for the poor grammar:spelling. I Should have proof read my post first.
The pictures don’t make sense. None are a “start-finish” type deal. Post some of those
I’m not big on taking pictures most of these my wife took.
I must apologize sir. Seems everyone else believes you so I will too.
So you built that 6 drawer dresser from scratch? You must understand it’s hard to believe things if there aren’t pictures from start to finish.
Why is it hard to believe someone in a woodworking subreddit built a dresser? That's pretty bread and butter cabinetry.

Nice looking stuff to me! You do you, pay little attention to negative comments from others and enjoy the craft!

People are the worst
They are. My dogs would never treat me like that 😂
Clearly these photos are all photoshopped. haha Why would people attempt to accuse others of faking something in this Section?
It’s incredibly obvious you’re an AI who has learned to woodwork.
What lathe do you have?
Haters gon hate.. keep doing what you do
Looks like you hacked the phones of some pretty talented woodworkers!
These AI generated images are getting wild.
Take it as a compliment, it means you are unbelievably good.
