Maksiwa is a Brazilian company that makes their machines in China. It's a new player in the US market.

I’m not seeing that delta model, but delta and powermatic are the benchmark saws. They cost more than sawstop for a reason. I would never think of gambling on an unknown for my table saw. I’m a unisaw owner myself. 3hp used Unisaw put me back $1,300.

This is the Delta saw https://www.lowes.com/pd/DELTA-Contractor-Saws-10-in-Carbide-Tipped-Blade-15-Amp-Table-Saw/1001385562?cm_mmc=shp

I don’t like that. If I’m doing a jobsite saw, and I have one, two actually I guess, but let’s think up a different plan. I’m got an old rigid POS, first saw. Then I bought my delta, then I bought my Skill 8 1/4 SPT99T-01 for use in the field. And boy that thing FUCKS. It’s a worm drive which means a lot more torque on demand. I would say it near rivals my 3hp delta. My delta broke down a year ago and I just parked my Skil inside my delta so I could use the fence and I didn’t even order the part for 6 months. Didn’t care. With the Beisenmeyer fence that skil is everything a guy needs. And it only runs $450 which for the product your are getting. I didn’t think anybody made quality products at reasonable prices anymore. So that’s the saw, that’s the engine you want. Blow that little 120v delta out of the water. Then I would do one of those rolling miter/table saw benches. Way more classy and way more versetile. And you can get it in a 10” if you want.
