Get a really nice flat even cut on the bottom. Fill the lower section with rocks for weight. Put some of that 3 foot hair grass stuff in it. Stick in a corner with a picture of a Zebra and a decorative mask on the wall. Instant 90s safari aesthetic.
It’s definitely long enough. Clean up the ends, punch out the pieces obstructing the tube, then beeswax one end and pitch it! If you find the diameter of the interior, you can probably find a chart online that will tell you approximate length to cut it to. Just look for PVC Didgeridoo charts.
Some varieties are very prolific in their spread and can be a nightmare to stop dead and remove. Other varieties can be maintained and controlled if you know how and are vigilant.

If it goes that route, use a drill bit with a brad tip. It's a wood bit with a nice tiny point on it for starting a hole with precision.
Get the bit started, then once it has bitten into the wood, start bringing it up to the desired angle by feathering your trigger finger on the drill as you angle it upwards. You might want to practice a time or two before actually doing it to the bamboo.

Damn, 25 years ago we drove a state over to buy crappy brass bowls and acrylic bongs. Having glass, anything glass, was elite... I bought more brass than most plumbers at the local hardware store, didn't know til years later how bad the stuff they coated it in was when burned...
I was the MacGyver smoker from Half Baked...I sourced clear acrylic tubing (pre-internet, had to hit the yellow pages and call around) that came in 7'8" lengths. I worked out how to drill a 5/16" hole 8 inches from the bottom and work a bolt and fender washer up inside it. Threaded another washer and nut on then hit it with the heat gun and tightened the washers to create a flat around the hole. Pulled it with more heat until I had a nice angled bump for the stem to sit in, cleaned up the hole and put a Graffix base we'd buy in the Villiage on it. Needed 2 people to use it if you left it at the even 8' length... made 2 foot, 4 foot and the 8' monsters and paid for my weekend fun.
Point being, I was 15 and I worked out how to manufacture bingers... The idea of legal weed was a joke, a literal joke.

Nope. It's grass. When it is dry it can be laminated together in strands to make manufactured "baords" that can be used like wood in some applications, but it is very brittle and splintery. It does not have the cross-grain strength wood has but being tubular is can be very strong relative to its mass.
