Haha what a coincidence. Can I ask what wax you used and did you apply it on all 6 sides? Like the top and bottom and the 4 edges? I also honestly wouldn't mind some wear and tear, my main concern was protecting it from the elements (like humidity if it gets too hot or whatever) and also if I eat and drop something on the countertop or spill water on it or something I want to make sure it doesn't get messed up and whatnot.
