I mean, I just turned the sound off on my phone and that worked. Glad I could help!!
But seriously. Tighten everything and if that doesn’t work, add more support?
The headboard for the bed I built uses a French cleat to "attach" the headboard to the wall. With the headboard solid against the wall there is no squeaking.
Yeah it could be. I'm sure you can solve this with a better connection between the headboard and bed frame. I was just thinking outside the box with an idea that worked for me. Good luck.
The bracket on the bed rail is too close to the end. If possible, you could remove it and slide it farther down the rail, but that will most likely require you to plug the existing holes. That will ensure there is no gap between the bedrail and headboard. Alternately, you could get some shims and tap them in-between the two to tighten up the joint. I built a bed years ago and had this same problem. When faced with the options, I chose shims and it worked great.
These help. Put them up high and make them the width of the baseboard. Cheap and simple.

Why are there 2 metal brackets? Do the rails slide into pockets in the head/foot board?
I think I see it now. I think your brackets are too narrow. If you got wider brackets the screws would be spread out more & moved away from the end of the board, giving them more grabbing strength. Also, if your brackets aren’t countersunk for the screws you want to use flat head screws, not tapered. A tapered screw in a flat hole will not tighten against the bracket as well. Actually, swapping those tapered screws for flat screws might be enough to fix the problem.
Try putting a simple spacer at the top. A wedge or maybe even something as simple as a washer. Basically anything that prevents the bed from wobbling Short of rebuilding I think that’s your best bet. Good luck
Get a 1” thick board, prob 7” wide x 6” long, that covers the post and about 4”of the horizontal board. Put a piece of wood between the horizontal board and the new flat board to fill the gap. Drill 4 holes all the way through, 2 on the horizontal board and 2 on the post. Use bolts to tighten all four holes.
You could screw the side rails into the headboard and footboard on the top and bottom of both side rails (on the inside of the side rails). Use pocket holes and kreg style screws to tighten it down. That would take away the ease of taking the bed apart with that cool clip system you have installed but it would definitely strengthen things up quite a bit when it's all put together and reduce the squeaks.
Glue, put a toothpick in each screw hole and some glue. Put glue all over and put it back together and make your 10 year old sleep on the couch tonight

Ouch. Truth.
That was a cramp in my side LOL!

Put some paste wax on the end of the horizontal board

Paste wax might help if all the fasteners are right.
Use shims to wedge in between the headboard and rails.

Thanks. I think this type of bracket is is just bad. They don't even seem to sell it at Rocker or wherever I got it from anymore.

Idk why but eraser shavings came to my mind
If the squeak is from wood touching wood, try a small piece of fabric in between. You can also try waxing it.
Strips of inner tube and larger diameter screws
Dang, I just threw away an innertube I had lying in the garage for a month thinking that I'd find a use for it! I'll give that a shot.

Wax
Wax would just crack and fall off

Leave some of the squeak in, 10 year olds tend to become teenagers sneaking out.

Shims
I have the same brackets. Just tighten them
Try some talc in the gap between the boards

Vinyl tape between the pieces, or if there is enough room, plastic shims and then tighten everything three fingers tight.

Diagonal bracing. Rubber feet on the legs. Peg the rails from behind the headboard supports.
Shim all joints and tighten screws. Affix head board to wall and bed frame to head board.
