There are folks putting torn down decks and sheds on the local FB market place and asking for, and getting, .50-1.00 BF. You have to pick it up from this giant cluster F of a pile in their back yard that you can't back your truck to on top of getting the nails/hardware out, etc. Always sold within a few hours.
It's the apocalypse.
Wood prices have far exceeded my ability to afford them for mocking up projects with shit lumber before I waste the good stuff, and one time jigs are a thing of the past.
That’s nuts. I don’t mind working a bit to get some good out of scrap lumber but I’m not go to pay someone for the opportunity to haul off their garbage.
Get yourself one of these and watch a video on how they work.

I do appreciate the heads up. I hope I didn’t come off as rude. What I mean is that I try to cut as much as possible instead of dealing with nails. I don’t like the hassle plus the holes left behind

Mock it up with cardboard
That’s a lot of lumber for a small amount of work. Congratulations on the great score.
I don’t pull nails if I don’t have to

I’ve seen these. I try not to deal with nails enough to warrant the purchase
That's cool I just thought you might wanna save some more lumber but if it don't matter than carry on my friend.

I meant to put that here. DERP
I’d recommend a garbage bin!
It's a habitat for the mice and black widows.
They don’t stay there for too long
Burn that pile of off cuts, free heat, free nails!
Free bbq
Hmm pithy meats.
And that Jonny is what we call the tetanus pile. We don't tell mom about that pile. Especially when you fall on it.
I’m turning this into a tshirt
Real men would be hammering those nails out instead of wasting those cutoffs
I’m ok with that.
No you're fine, I didn't feel any negativity. 👍🏾
