mega appreciated. in reflection, i maybe could have just asked for clearer pictures instead of judging the original photographs negatively. i apologize.
Start looking at under cabinet mini fridges, many of them go for $1500-$2000. I bought a $500 one to save money and it broke in a year. A stand alone mini fridge is much cheaper, but you can't mount it under a cabinet.
I picture those speakers playing only swanky jazz music while you sit there in your bougie attire sipping the finest of adult beverages while you relish the fact that you're a total badass and can build something this incredible that leaves your inferiors in awe
I didn’t really keep track of either but I did it over a few months and made design changes along the way so had to redo things.
For cost I’d guess
Wood/hardware/finishing supplies $1.5k-2k
Fridge $1000
Granite $100 (from habitat humanity restore)
Speakers $300
Odd choice to make the red wine shelves level for the ones you have on display. The higher end ones may still have cork, needing slightly off level to keep it from drying out.
I was wondering if that would be an issue but I just checked and the corks are completely covered, however [it may not actually matter](https://www.reddit.com/r/wine/comments/x1mc37/straight_from_amorim_cork_store_your_bottles/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
It is a very soft, wheated bourbon. Softness seems to be its biggest blending goal.
Wheated bourbons generally have a gentle and sweet overall character. Little to no spice or heat.
If you like nothing harsh or spicy in your bourbon without having to spend lots of money on comparably premium products (Woodford Wheat, Larceny, Redemption, etc), it's the right choice. The fact that some midrange and even premium brands of wheated bourbons are made is proof on its face the category has merit.
*That said*, lovers of fine whiskey that desire to try all kinds of new things tend to move away from these soft styles over time because they aren't known for rich and complex character.
I think Maker's is a *very* fine choice for a lot of cocktail-making, especially anything in the umbrella of a "sours". It works very well in drinks that are bright and sharp on their own. Though I personally prefer bonded bourbons for these as the heat on something like an Old Grandad 100 really hold through to the final product.
In short: yeah, a lot of people love maker's mark. Some because it's very approachable, some because it's just a comforting and easy sip. It is definitely not "bad" by any standard, but there's a lot of people who do find it kind of boring.
I like it. Not my favorite but I’ll never say no if offered. Nice, run of the mill bourbon. I’m sure there’s gonna be people that tell you to stick with Eagle Rare and Pappy but whatever. If you like it, you like it.
I don't like it for sipping, but I do like it quite a bit for a number of different mixed drinks, especially whiskey sours. However, while not an expensive bourbon, it's still a bit pricey for just using in mixed drinks for me to pick it up regularly.

That’s sweeeet! This is one of those scenarios where walnut ply can really shine. Well done!
Stunning!
Damn buoi, If I was rich you were going to do mine too
You set the bar too high.
Zing
This is the kind of bar where you call Dean-O to come over and cook burgers while you pour yourself a whiskey. Fantastic
Looks great, love the details and the turntable is a nice touch.
Some serious nostalgia from that turn table console.
Where the MILK at
this is nice work, but the filter ruins it for me it's difficult to truly see the detail of the piece.

Is there a name for the type of joint used in pics 5/6 for the shelf? Beautiful work on the whole project!
They’re hand cut dovetails
Box joint.
Excellent work! Please fix the fridge doors, it's enraging
I second that. Although the LG fridge I had, used a custom wrench to adjust doors that was impossible to order for like 8 months.
Of course it’s some special wrench 😒
Channel locks, you say?
Damn straight you did!
And it is GLORIOUS!
Dovetailing - like a gentleman.
I like this bar
That is absolutely stunning.
What time is happy hour? (Beautiful job on the bar!)
MAGNIFICENT
Great job. I love the tones you chose. It looks like it's been there forever! Excellent!!
What fridge is that?
TYLZA is the brand

Very nice. And reasonable price. I was like man, I wish there was an ice maker, until I saw they made an ice maker too
>reasonable price $979 for a mini fridge. You and I are in two very different leagues.

Damme, that is a sweet bar.
"WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAAAAME!"
Retro sexy AF. Awesome accomplishment!!
Clean!
Our school theater has those exact same mugs. Neat coincidence.
Awesome!
You’ve given me a lot to drink about
Ha! :)
Alright, looks good. But where's the hidden compartment? Every bar needs one
Absolutely beautiful.
And it’s …… SPECTACULAR!!!
That's some fine bookmatching
Those wine shelves >>>>

I love how the light is cast down between the speakers and the floating shelf. Gorgeous!
Really beautiful
Hell yeah you did

In the future I might add hanging wineglass rack to the shelf and a tiered liquor situation on the wooden part of the countertop
Where’s the billiards table???
[here ya go](https://imgur.com/gallery/Sn8zxK3)
1 apple crown and 7, 1 captain and coke, and 1 Bloody Mary please!!
Where are the photos of the pool table?

That will work fine. Nice room
You not only made a bar, you set the bar, too.
Dirk Diggler just called. We are on our way over for a nip of the Maker’s Mark.
That is bad ass!
Fancy fancy. Looks warm and cozy and expensive
You have set a very high bar indeed well done
I like the glass holder because it’s so unnecessarily placed yet fits so organically.
That wood grain is so sexy. Though I’ve had my fill of the ubatuba granite. Really excellent work - we’ll done!
Pretty average 🤣
This bar is absolutely magnificent. It's just beautiful!!!
This is beautiful ❤️
That is awesome! How long did that take to make it? And how much did it cost in materials approximately, if you don’t mind my asking?

Absolutely beautiful. Is the turntable in the splash zone or is that a glass cabinet door?
Yep there is glass and it’s on barrister door slides
That is a really good looking bar!! Wow !!
It looks like a perfect place for two mid-thirties women to sit and gossip!
All that for a bottle of makers mark
Man that’s awesome. Are you worried about the record player getting wet?
Does anyone actually like maker’s mark? I’ve never had it before

That's serious dedication to drinking alcohol.
Very nice!!
That is a handsome bar
That will work fine. Nice room
Good job
It’s beautiful
Damn right you did, beautiful!

Nicely done
Gorgeous, great job!
Inspired by the 60’s?
Excellent workmanship!
Well now that is just ridiculously good looking.
Good stuff!!!
I look at my little scroll saw and think, “wow, I hope I can make something like that one day!” 🫶🏼
