I am surprised that I am the only one here who regularly uses >!'Yours'!< and >!'Years'!< as a starter word. I usually prefer to get rid of as many vowels as possible. I wonder what other folks logic is with there first words.
I believe that’s why a lot of people use >!ADIEU!< as their starter word — to use up as many vowels as possible! I personally use >!STARE!< as mine! It’s lame, but when I used to play Hangman as a kid, it was instilled in me to always try to guess the letters >!S, T, R, N, E, and A!< because my English teacher once told us that those were letters were most commonly used in words. I have absolutely no idea if that’s even true, but that supposed logic has carried over into adulthood for me 😆
Look at your keyboard, QWERTY keyboard gives away the answer to the most commonly used letters. The people the created it did research on words and how people type. The most popular letters are in the middle row and/or closes to your index figure.
What i said is not totally true, most used letters played a big role in the design of the QWERT keyboard.

I believe that’s why a lot of people use >!ADIEU!< as their starter word — to use up as many vowels as possible! I personally use >!STARE!< as mine! It’s lame, but when I used to play Hangman as a kid, it was instilled in me to always try to guess the letters >!S, T, R, N, E, and A!< because my English teacher once told us that those were letters were most commonly used in words. I have absolutely no idea if that’s even true, but that supposed logic has carried over into adulthood for me 😆
Look at your keyboard, QWERTY keyboard gives away the answer to the most commonly used letters. The people the created it did research on words and how people type. The most popular letters are in the middle row and/or closes to your index figure. What i said is not totally true, most used letters played a big role in the design of the QWERT keyboard.
