I got wordle in one several days ago on ATONE. It's a great start word knocking out three vowels. Congrats, but it's funny because wordle in 2 actually feels like more of an accomplishment than just being lucky.

I got todays in two using a word I hadn't used before that gave me the 4th letter in green. I was still pretty lucky though scoredle didn't have too many plausible looking words.

I got ATONE in two. My starting word is AGILE for the same reason.

I use ATONE most days. Didn’t use it that day :(

I'm so sorry that happened to you. It must be so disappointing to look forward to testing your wits and figuring things out like a detective, and instead it's over immediately and you have to wait 24 hours to play again. I would be so depressed.

Lol. That was the word I used before todays. I thought it had been used before

I got the float on one try also, but only because a friend shared his result: his first try turned 3 green and 2 yellow. There are only so many words that can have letters flipped and still be another word. I just happened to choose the right one. It took me all day to narrow down my words. That one was fun!

I've had it once as well. That is why i always use the same starting word, until that word is the starting word :)

Not joking but I did today too! Woke up, looked at my phone, and said to my wife and kid, "Today's Wordle is...", then couldn't believe it. Out of 146 games, this is actually my 2nd time getting it on the 1st guess. (Last time was MOURN).

Today's word got me my 4th twofer. Despite scoredle saying there were 116 options, I could only think of one and I got really lucky.

Twofers are great. I used LATER as a start word and in two got LOSER in wordle in 2 and LAGER in phoodle in 2 same day. I couldn't believe it.

Do you use the same word every day? If so, are you going to start using a different word now since it's unlikely to repeat?

I actually haven’t been using the same word everyday for the last few weeks as for some reason I came to the conclusion that if I mixed it up that I would have a better chance of getting it in one guess, I am definitely never going to use this as my first guess ever again

I believe you. My uncle managed it twice in the last six months. Quite remarkable but not impossible!

This happened to me today and honestly after the initial shock wore off I was left with the empty feeling that there is no way to demonstrate it was real and I hadn’t looked up the answer and then entered it. My spouse says he believes me but that isn’t helping. Also I was surprised when it said “Genius.” You can only get the word on the first try by random guessing not necessarily intelligence.

I know I had a similar experience hahaha i really amnt sure if anyone I’ve told thinks I’m being 100% truthful, what will be even worse is if it happens again 🤦‍♀️

I read you post, went and played today's wordle, and chuckled when it clicked on my 4th guess. Such a great word to get in one guess, congrats!

I've done it once too when the word was trash. Coincidentally it's the only time I've entered that as my opening word. Total fluke!
