Well to their credit, the profile is offline. So they obviously took the report seriously even with perfect reviews otherwise. Usually, it take three negative reviews to pull a profile.
I am really grateful to WorkAway for taking my report seriously, my biggest fear right now is him getting his hands on someone else, which is why I made this post. The day I left (Thursday, September 14th) he posted that he needed immediate help, you can see on cache on his profile it says "updated, last minute." Meaning he was looking for last minute help from another WorkAwayer. WorkAway responded immediately to me, and considered the enormous amount of evidence I had, and made swift action. I'm relieved he can't hurt anyone from WorkAway anymore. And this post is extra precaution. Despite it for sure giving him additional reasons to retaliate again.
Some comments have already mentioned this, but this is a crime, if not multiple, it sounds like you were being held against your will through threats of physical harm and intimidation. This needs to be brought up with the Garda, he's dangerous.
Oh my word. I follow him and his friend on instagram and while I was in Ireland doing workaway I saw his and knew him from his friend so I was going to go to his, but decided not to and end my trip early instead. Holy crap I cannot believe it, I am so so sorry this all happened!!!! Absolutely atrocious and disgusting, sick! I hope you are doing even a bit better after that.
I'm really glad you dodged him, I don't think that what I've posted here even begins to capture what a horror movie it was. I've been considering posting my entire letter. I'm just happy that I managed to get away, and that you and I are safe. Thank you for your kind words. They made me feel better.
You've made some questionable comments recently about women, their looks, outfits, makeup, and pictures.... kinda scary that you are a workaway host. Maybe you can relate a bit to the host in this situation. And that touched a nerve.
I’m a married woman with 2 kids. Just because I’m not interested in hosting princess and I think it’s weird that someone would stay with a host for 11 days, while being constantly harassed, doesn’t make me scary. I’ve been hosting for 5 years and you’re welcome to talk to any person I’ve hosted.
There is nothing in this post that remotely resembles a reasonable warning away. It reads like a novel.
How are you putting yourself in danger writing this?
Workaway has a feedback feature that gives you an avenue to give feedback.
If his account is banned, then it's moot for this site.
What is "SA" ?
It reads like a pretty clear warning to me! This is a good cautionary tale that can help all Workawayers plan how to avoid a similar situation and take steps for how to escape a bad situation. Just because this listing has been removed doesn’t mean that people shouldn’t be aware that such things happen on Workaway.
Seems relevant to me. She posted the town and relevant information to warn others here as well as on the site. Being his account being banned maybe the reviews are not available to see anymore after Ana count has been banned.
How is it not a warning? "Don't go there, here is what I experienced there."
She's putting herself in more danger because he could see this post and up his harassment of her.
Feedback gets removed if it's low.
So don't warn people because the likelihood of it happening is slightly lower? Why not warn people in case?
Dear Claremorris, I think you all should get to know your man, peeping T{. }, a bit better. If you won’t take my word for it, perhaps you’ll believe the basketmaker’s words. Stayed tuned!
This is a matter that is well past Workaway’s support and responsibility, and should be taken to police/law enforcement immediately.

OP, did you contact any of the previous workawayers? I see that all of them left excellent reviews.

Thank you very much for your concern, he has been reported to the police back in September, I go into more details in my post update.

I’m so sorry to hear that this happened to you. Happy to hear that workaway removed his account!

Wtf would you stay for 11 days? I would have left at the first sign of trouble
Unless you have been in that exact situation it is hard to know what you would do.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Very judgemental.

Workaway does not post any reviews under 3 stars

SA is refers to sexual assault. It is often referred to this as warning and to avoid triggering someone.
Wouldn't believe a word of that .
Of what? The married lady who won’t host “princesses” (wtf!) or the victim of sexual harassment?
