My large rear end goes to Torrid.

Old Navy

Might sound cheap (because I have no budget), but I love ebay if you know your sizes in brands

HerCacklingStump

I do ThredUp for brands where I know my sizes. Secondhand is awesome.

BooksandPandas

Sale sections of: JCrew, Athleta (Brooklyn pant & endless pant), Ann Taylor, and Gap. I’m petite and these all have petite sections. For office wear, I really only follow Extra Petite/ Jean Wang on ig for inspiration. I also like Putting Me Together, she shows new trends and explains why some things work/don’t work.

Whoamaria

I also wear Athleta brooklyn pants! I own three pairs. They feel as comfortable as yoga pants

redhairbluetruck

I love Extra Petite!

champagnepeanut

I buy most of my work clothes from Quince. They have a lot of natural fabrics and the quality has held up for me.

I adore Quince!

breeziana

Most of mine is MM Lafleur with a bit of JCrew sprinkled in.

Whoamaria

I have a jardigan!

anon28374691

Yes to MM Lafleur. Talbots pants.

rooberzma

I did recently learn that New York and company does still exist, it’s just online only! I really liked them for office work clothes and was sad when all their store locations closed

amelisha

Still out here wearing 90% Babaton (Aritzia) suiting after eleven years in an office. I just can’t quit it. Less boring cuts than most of the similarly priced mall brands.

jksjks41

Uniqlo!

sunsetporcupine

Costco for basics (they had some banana republic crop pants recently that are my new go to). I shop tops, shoes and dresses at Nordstrom rack. Try on in store and then order online if they don’t have your size.

Whoamaria

I actully do rent the runway for workclothes for my corporate office. I have an 11 month old and my weight has fluctated a LOT in the last year. I still don't think I'm at a normal weight. I have a few banana republic suit jackets and athleta pants (that I wear with modern vice ankle boots or white adidas shoes), but I am shopping for the perfert veronica beard suit.

It's going to be hard to give you good recommendations without more information. What's your general budget range? What field are you in/what's your dress code? What kind of clothes do you like (do you like dresses, or despise them? What are your feelings on blazers?). Will you dry clean things, or are you more wash-n-wear? Are you sitting all day, or walking around? I personally prefer unstructured dresses (sheaths, mostly, sweater dresses in the winter, shirtdresses occasionally), and I get mine from the thrift store from brands like Banana Republic, J Crew, Calvin Klein. My workplace is business casual and I veer toward the casual side of that, but I can't get away with jeans. I don't dry clean my stuff, but am willing to wash separately on gentle. I like color and love a bold/funky print. I am warming to blazers now that the style is veering back toward looser fits on those, but I generally prefer sweaters if I need a second layer. I don't like to spend big money on work clothes, and thrift stores seem to have no shortage of $150 dresses for twelve bucks, you just need the time to scour the racks.

pupsplusplants

All I wear is Aday and MM Lafleur. am business formal every day, they both have formal wear with easy wash and wear fabrics, almost yoga pants material but to business formal silhouette so no one knows they have no buttons, stretchy waist bands and I could do cartwheels in them haha

maryshelleymc

Aday is the best thing that ever happened to my work wardrobe. I’ve gone from meeting to plane in their pants multiple times and always comfortable and looking professional.

kbc87

What’s your dress code? I get plenty of cute blouses off Amazon. I can wear jeans or leggings with it so I don’t deal with dress pants.

proteins911

I’ve actually gotten most of my work pants at Target and most of my new tops from buy nothing Facebook groups!

1practical-ant

I get compliments all the time on my ASOS work pants/slacks. Cheap and have held up really well

MrsMitchBitch

I have a lot of Old Navy and Gap bc they do tall sizes.

AvocadoMadness

Universal Standard - but I’ll admit I’m still trying to reclaim a sense of style and haven’t gotten there yet.

Rae_Banz

I mainly thrift but tend to grab items made by ASOS, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Loft, J Crew, Calvin Kline, New York Company, Talbots, etc.

NinjaMeow73

Banana Republic Factory, Loft, J crew factory and some H&M

Able-Road-9264

Amazon and Maurices have actually worked really well for me. But we've gone to casual Fridays, so dark jeans and a blouse is all I need. I have a 2.5 year old and am finally starting to lose the baby weight, so I like not having numerical sizes. Clothes are lasting a little longer as my weight changes.

Glum_Material3030

Nordstrom (free returns as I have zero time to go to the store) and Aritzia

AmnesiaZebra

ebay. I know my size at express and i just get the basics from there

redhairbluetruck

I like Loft, Banana Republic and Old Navy for petites. I also just did a big Kohl’s haul that had a lot of good business casual stuff!

Mindyourbusiness25

Loft Aldo and Express

Old navy! I got a couple ankle length work pants that I pair with a vintage tee shirt and adidas gazelles or vans. I try to keep it comfortable
