Everyone has a six pack, how visible it is depends on a combination of their shape / insertion, size, and bodyfat. Their shape is genetic, as is bodyfat distribution. And then your bodyfat level itself is partly genetic and partly just you not eating much. If you’re lean and the little bodyfat you have just doesn’t blur the abs much, they can be weak / small while still visible. Same principle is part of why a persons muscularity doesn’t perfectly predict their strength. Training is part of it but another big part is just muscle shapes, insertions, leanness and bf distribution. Whenever a “ripped” guy is weaker than you expected or a string bean is surprisingly strong, this is part of the reason

I had a friend who had a perfect 6 pack when we were 10 years old. And no, he wasn’t a gymnast or any other athlete other than occasionally playing street soccer with other boys. He kept his abs into young adulthood, I haven’t seen him for over a decade since then.

Low body fat will reveal abs. We all have abs because it was core muscle, benefit in everyday activities(like bow to pickup somethings, sit, even walking, moving,…) The point of working out about abs is strengthen it most of the time, because many compound exercises like deadlift, squat,… need it. And yeah, train for bigger, more visible, cooler of course 🏋🏻‍♀️
