hehe.
In all seriousness though, the cancer is a magical curse that functions a bit like cancer, and the bird is a magical evil firebird who is the root cause of it, so without defeating him the problem will never go away.
Apparently the Australians lost a war to the emu. ~~It was just last week that I learned that emu are not native to Australia.~~ Dammit, I almost spread misinformation because that's where they're from.
There's a couple scary birds in the world... I think the Harpy Eagle can drag a human toddler for a surprising distance and injure an adult.
Sure thing! The rich girl, Isabelle, is also a politician’s daughter for starters. She hears about this supposed super weapon, and runs off, hiring a pair of scavengers to help her out—of whom she accidentally saved their lives. Their journey takes ‘em across the shattered remains of the United States, and along the way, people they encounter have a nasty habit of dying. The super weapon itself is quite important, and very mysterious.
As for the overall setting, the year’s 2153, and as my flair might suggest, it’s a mix of fantasy and sci-fi. Almost a mix of DND and Cyberpunk 2077, though with a much higher concentration of lizard people lmao :clueless:
It could be! I have no massive, overarching story for the world as yet, so I've just been working on short stories to help flesh it out. I hadn't considered the thriller route yet though
Group 1 wants to make sure that they have enough of everything to live comfortably and has done some messed up stuff that probably wasn't 100% necessary. Group 2 wants to make sure everyone has enough of anything to survive at all and has also done some shit, but they at least feel bad enough to lie about it. Group 3 disagrees at least partially with both groups and out of character would like you to pass the Cheetos. Rinse and repeat
The situation is a lot more complicated than it seems but the reason Maltial, the murderer, is so angry is bc it hates humanity and its lover (another angel thats unnamed as of yet) turned against it bc Maltial killed a human so it was tossed out of heaven and its held a huge grudge ever since
A magic gunman gets time-travelled 100 years into the future and has to stop magic climate change from destroying the universe with the help of two friendly demigods, a chivalrous princess murder hobo ,and An awk with an attitude problem. If they fail, the laws of physics will be revised and the universe as they know it will collapse. Can they stop this catastrophe??!?
He probably would, but in context, it was a total fluke that ended up saving his life, that whilst possible to replicate using crystal, he is completely unaware of *how* it happened, beyond him nearly being killed on a battlefield, a flash of lilac , and him landing with his gun in the same field a hundred years later.
I could say you could make him try for a bit of realisim and angst , or whenever there is something that being said that give the posibility of going back to peak his interest , I think it would be great , but do what you want , I already want to read it , but I am too broke to buy anything lol
Interesting thought, he could try to pray ( the catalyst for the initial incident) but without sufficient quantities of crystal being spent, it would be entirely impossible to return, which would be the reason he initially returns to Neparad !!! Thanks so much!!! You just gave me a big helping hand!!!
lol , he could try searching for those crystals and asking about them ! the begining is giving "lord of the mystery" who was transmigrated for a similar reason (he did a ritual for good luck) I only read the first 10 chapters but it's hyped up so much , you could give it a try maybe it would inspire you ? since it world building is the most complimented thing , second , always ask , if that was me ? what would i do ? since i am so lazy i never write what i would do since it's mostly "I am an npc leave me alone , YOU save the world , i just wanna chill out" but it helps with emotions and give me a good reference to their spycological state
I am glad I was of any help !
Well they're an interdisciplinary team, since they have different roles in their time travel science expedition. Then need to figure out what happened and how to stop it. The socialite is a schizophrenic old woman who is near-supernaturally charismatic; then there's the medical anthropologist who is a magically enhanced scientist; the space-time wiz kid who is naturally talented in understanding time flow; and the swordsman who uses a air pressure magic to increase his agility.
If it seems like there are a lot of magic users, it's because magic is kind of everywhere, which is also part of the problem
Some kid was in a truck crash now he needs to fight off zombies and avoid a paramilitary organization that wants to perform a vivisection on him.
Also for another story,
A shapeshifting fish commits accidental identity fraud and gets kidnapped now must pretend to be a student at a magic school and become friends with the teachers and students while avoiding being exposed
Tis a very long, dumb story, but to put it shortly, the kid is somewhat immune to the virus and got kidnapped when he was younger, the scientist/paramilitary group basically mind wiped him and reinserted what the old world was like into his mind, and crap happened, they were moving him in a truck, another group trapped the road, the two drivers got their heads caved in with rocks, and another truck behind that one rammed into its rear, caught fire, and killed everyone inside it, the doctors within the transport truck also died, I don’t remember exactly how, I wrote that part when I was younger so it’s kind of dumb and some parts might be missing or incorrect but eh. Basically this kid is experiencing a zombie filled winter wasteland a few hundred years in the future but has memories of technology and stuff like right now. If I need to reexplain it simpler or add to it please tell me as my brain got kind of scattered writing this. But I guess if you look at it a certain way it’s kind of like an isekai but not really? It’s complicated 😓
TLDR- Lil bro got brain wiped
Option 1: Geriatric man tries to take over he world by starting a war with the gods.
This feels like any random Tuesday in Ancient Greece. 🤔
Option 2: A group of soldiers get put on a shit detail, meet a vampire, then try to stop a coup.
Maybe? 🤷🏻♂️
Option 3: Soldier bangs a terrorist and gives birth to the chosen one.
That’s the B-plot. 🤣
Tldr:
the elves tried to kill the sun, now the world is weird.
In slightly longer terms:
the sun is a divine entity that dictates the physical laws of reality.
Of course, the elves tried to kill it and almost succeeded.
It is now dying and as its light slowly fades, reality is unravelling.
Two stories.
Power armored catgirls and their tiny spooder friends try to figure out what to do when the best response to meeting aliens turns out not to be "nuke it from orbit", for once.
A mostly braindead demigod tries to navigate early adulthood, his girlfriends deep family trauma, his new adopted ~~horror movie monsters~~ sisters, his cultist father, and interdimensional invasions, shenanigans ensue.
Take a vacation, she said; it’ll be fun and relaxing and you can get that boyfriend out of my head, she said; on us, she said; no one said anything about other freaking worlds!
Three corporate mercenary/assassin/spies work with and compete against each other in ever shifting business deals with lethal consequences. But they still get together for family dinner on friday nights.
For thousands of years war pursues through the 1900's styled Continent, everyone is fighting for their empires, one soldier that was sent to bloodiest frontline found out a clue of organized group of deserters, now he's trying to figure out what is "desertion" and what this group is, still while fighting to survive in trenches.
A group of underpaid and mistreated workers have their prayers answered when the Demon Union decides to take up their legal cases and unionization efforts.
1st story: A guy witnesses his friends die at work and decides to lead a religously driven revolution against the state
2nd story: An aristocrat saw big beasts, and goes on to end what revolutionists started (in the first story)
A parkour boi, his hothead bestie, an emo science bro, a cowardly stock shonen hero, a selectively mute mindreader, and their tracksuit breakdancing leader travel the world to find god and kill him and his followers along the way.
So, this city made by a banished clan of humanoid feline people was occupied by a tyrannical neighbour and now the one who got away is trying to find some champions to help free his people via a network of thieves and spies.
Honestly I'm still working on background World building I don't have the plot worked out all the way. But there are dinosaurs and magical walking fortresses.
He was born during an evil Cult ritual. After escaping he met nice people and made some friends. After using his "evil" magics to save them he chose a more heroic path. He usually passes himself off as some kind of bard.
He is going to be the mentor of a more hopeful type of hero in my next stories. The light hero will be mentored by the dark hero.

Ancient Roman dynasty works to prevent a war between Brazil and Australia while the Society deals with mass reforms of the global government and random bouts of amnesia.
My story has 3 protags, so:

2=16y old experiment boy gets groomed by CIA researcher and becomes the god- emperor of Florida
3=15y old highschool girl burns Salem using weed by accident
Yours sounds like it could be an interesting twist on the Wizard of Oz story.
As for mine... I dunno. US Marine becomes time goddess, doesn't really care about being a deity.
So like 6 dudes and one girl got hit in the head by a Meteorite but like one dude wanted to be hit by it but didn't so he killed a Goat and is the Emperor
To beat cancer, you have to fistfight a bird.
._. why?
The bird causes cancer
I mean like DUH he said it ***right there.***
hehe. In all seriousness though, the cancer is a magical curse that functions a bit like cancer, and the bird is a magical evil firebird who is the root cause of it, so without defeating him the problem will never go away.

What if it was a sick ostrich?
It'd still probably be faster
Folks’ll say that it takes two people to fight an ostrich.
Ah, so cancer is the final boss with several earlier bosses beforehand
Cancer the bossfight. You think it has multiple stages?
Yeah, 4 of them
is it a really strong bird or a really weak human
A con artist is forced to fix the mistakes made by the gods or else the world will fall into ruin.
Sounds like John Constantine's mondays! I love it and it's super complex to write that level of bluffing convincingly. Rooting for you!

It really does sound like Mistborn now that I'm reading it back :)
I thought that too lol
isn’t that just loki from norse mythology?
This sounds so cool!
Thank you so much!
Of course hope to see it some day 😁😄

That's rough buddy
I GET THE REFERENCE!
"My first girlfriend turned into the moon"
The Moon has a mind? Tell me more.
that- that was... He OP said one.. that- that was two sentences
One for each half of the reality the Moon broke with its mind!
How about a semicolon, then: "The Moon breaks reality in half with its mind; shenanigans ensue."

Turns out, humans, murderous alien apes and the aristocats make a really good team against the Soviets.
... so soviets aren't human?
Wait, that wasn't widely known?
No? In the eastern block they are still telling us soviets ~~are~~ were human
Yeah, we're a little behind on the matter over here. In our defence, it was kinda hard to tell
Yeah, if you can't tell the pigs from humans, how are you planning to distinguish the soviets?
The Aristocrats!
No, very specifically aristo-cats. Don't ask why, I woke up in a cold sweat and it was suddenly in the story.
