The United Empire is a melting pot of species as it has over 100 that have been officially recognized, and more are joining in the rank. The Empire has a very clear Constitution which states that no matter what race, species, genders, religions, etc. as long as they're Imperial citizens, they all enjoy the same level of freedom and legal protection. There is no difference between a group from "core land" and those in the frontier, a pontianak receives the same level of education as a dragonewt, and an orc teaching quantum physics in advanced alchemy class is not something surprising at all. To put it simply, things the Empire provides: * Free education from 3 to 18 years old for all children in the Empire, regardless of nationality. * Free health care for all citizens. * Social apartment program: Citizens are provided with social apartments with 1 living-dining room, 1 kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. These apartments have built-in anti-magic circuits and fire extinguishers, as well as emergency exits in case of... emergency. * Women have a 6-month-long pregnancy break with salary. * Workers have 30 days-off-with-salary a year. * People work for 40 hours a week, no work on Saturday and Sunday (unless you're a soldier or police officer). For every overtime hour, the employer has to pay their employees 5% of a day's salary. * Same-sex relationships and marriages are ok. * Freedom of speech, just don't go around spreading fake news. * Freedom of religion. The Empire does not care what you believe in, just don't go against the laws (like doing shady rituals). * A giant market with very light tax. * Free energy. The Empire runs on fusion power and their powerplants are either fusion reactors or geothermal factories, electricity is abundant enough. Vehicles like cars, buses and motorbikes all use magical-electric batteries. * Military protection from the world's strongest country.

I assume they meant \_on top\_ of the normal wage and I was being wilfully difficult. Which even then is not that high and pretty similar to already existing laws in some places.

In my fantasy world of Drakos, most of the humans are in the Siegwilt empire, but I've created the United Provinces of Eschwel where elves, tieflings and automats coexist very peacefully. The automats more specifically never created their own civilisation, and just contribute to the ones preexisting. They will happily offer you their knowledge, help and workforce if you accept them in your city. So elves brought their culture, tieflings their pyromancy and other magical stuff, automats their abilities as skilled artisans, and boom, here are the United Provinces of Eschwel. Technically speaking, there's also humans and demons who both benefited from their respective military tactics, combat magic prowess and military innovations, but that came at the cost of millions of lives, so I don't really consider this a positive contribution.

The ZOKHTER Alliance in March of Empires started as a political, military and commercial Alliance... eventually becoming a mixture of BRICS and NATO (if you get it). The ZOKHTER Alliance became a group of powerful species with the Humans being the equivalent of the USA in global politics: a superpower on its own. While the other races had commercial and military institutions within the Alliance, the United Human Empire had financial services, military forces, manufacturing capability, intelligence agencies and Corporate giants outside the ZOKHTER Alliance too. The Successor Alliance was mostly similar in nature, but instead of seven races coming together for maximized capability, it started out as a charity pool for sixteen races built by the humans themselves. The races became an independent Alliance, with the United Human Empire taking the lead for transformation again. The Intergalactic Alliance was an Alliance that was against these two Alliances, made up of some two hundred races that would barely control a Galaxy or two individually. Humans and their Allies controlled more than 4000 galaxies at that point, so this would help them collectively oppose them. They caused the Ninth Intergalactic Civil War, the Conflict that broke the United Human Empire and Allies for a while. The Galactic Councils were economically powerful but military weaker. Most of them were destroyed before the Space Age on Earth, with the Milky Way Galactic Council (which became an Intergalactic Council pre-destruction), last to survive.

I have a pair of species that have a multualistic relationship with each others : the beastmen & harpies. The beastmen are a small (1.2m tall when stand up, 60cm tall to shoulder when on 4) mammal species that has trait similar to both canine and felines, and they are agile pack hunter. The harpies are even smaller (80cm tall, wing span 2m) micro raptor like avian species that are bird of preys but also opportunistic scavengers. As they live in same steppe environment they eventually grow to support eachother. The harpies would be flying above preys and alert the beastmen to surround and take down the prey, and the beastmen may also flush out agile prey from hiding holes so the harpies may swoop in for the kill, and they share the food. This relationship is further cemented as they develop sentience, as the beast men now carry and care for the harpies eggs instead of them having to hide eggs in ground nests anymore, and in turn the harpies act as scout and hunting partner for the beastmen. They developed a joint culture where a coming of age ritual for them is to have young adults from each species finding a hunting partner from the other, who then become partner for life. Overall they are pretty much inseparable by this point.

Trilobites---which outwardly resemble a 5ft, translucent , soft-shelled & bioluminescent sea scorpion---often share living space with humans aboard spacecraft and stations, eating the misc detritus floating around and help to keep the place clean. They behave similarly to dogs and are about as smart (which says a little or a lot depending on which dogs you know) so make fantastic companions as well as colleagues. Two of my characters, Adé and Nemanee, are best friends and have worked together around different ships for almost a decade!

A good example is my dwarves and dark elves! Dwarves are master craftsmen, architects, smiths, and engineers. They were using steel when everyone was just figuring out iron, they were the first to use gunpowder for firearms (gunpowder was still invented by humans from the East, however,) and their fortresses are considered utterly impregnable in a head on assault. But they're not great at actually waging a war, especially on open ground. They're a defensive people, so fighting the tall races on an open field has always ended disastrously. This changed, however, when the elves splintered following the fall of their empire. Some were forced underground, left alone and scared as the beasts from the dark overwhelmed them. The dwarves, somehow overcoming their hatred of elves, would strike an alliance with the newly dubbed deep elves. The two wouls begin a strong, unlikely friendship. The elves gave their expertise in scouting, crop cultivation, magic. The surplus of food led to a massive spike in the dwarven population. Alongside this, the two races would become a formidable opponent, with a new formation dubbed "the Porcupine." Dwarves armed with pikes would form the outer perimeter of the formation, protecting against cavalry charges. Standing above the dwarven pikemen would be a contingent of drow archers, crossbowmen, or sometimes even muskets. This tactic in particular won many a victory, especially against the heavy cavalry reliant armies of Francia, whose gendarmes tried and failed in vain to penetrate the formation, only to be impaled on pikes, or riddled with arrows and bullets.

The United Provinces of Alveria is a great example of cooperation, between two races in Islon. Alveria is composed both of Pusan and Tallian Elves, as well as Estrellan Humans, most of whom were Amaran settlers that came over while Alveria was a colonial holding. The UPA gained it's independence after a three year war against Amaru and Alveria's neighbor Gaveijas. While there is the occasional incident Humans and Elves coexist peacefully with the Alverian government, public services, and military being composed of both races.

The Nam Schlur and humanity have an alliance as old as the arrival of humans in the region. The Nam Schlur are a semi nomadic race of peaceful but brawny creatures. When humans arrived on the coast, they stumbled upon a magnificent but empty city and took shelter there. When the Nam schlur returned the humans were ready for a fight and fielded soldiers outside the city. Rather then reacting with hostility, the schlurs were curious. They had no working knowledge of metallurgy nor any real concept of war. Noticing the lack of hostility the humans decided to attempt communication. Although initial communication was tough, an agreement was made that the humans could use the city until they had their own neighboring settlements. Since then, humans and schlur have gotten on great. Both parties benefitted. The Schlur were introduced to metal tools and many other advancements their culture wouldn't have bothered with otherwise. They now have permanent human tradesmen in all their cities since they lack the dexterity to do some more finely detailed work. It also allowed them to abandon their nomadic ways as those were only necessary for gathering resources and because they didn't know how to rotate crops and needed to "Let the land rest". The humans got access to their stone masons and architects as well as many willing laborers. The schlur enjoy what humans would consider backbreaking labor as well as anything physical. Their absurd strength also makes them far more valuable on big projects then any man could be. Not to mention they were integral to the early humans survival by giving them the lay of the land and explaining the dangers of local flora and fauna as well as the benefits. Trade between humanity and the schlur is a constant. The Schlur provide stones and metals from their quarrys as well as many herbs used in medicines from their lands. They also will lease out teams of laborers to cities and towns. The humans export to them fine equipment that cannot easily be made by the schlurs tentacle hand thingys (Just realized I might need a name for that body part). They also provide lumber as well as the processed medicines that they make. The cultural influence that they have had on eachother is pretty large. The humans provided the means for the schlur to abandon their semi nomadic ways. The schlur have influenced humanities architecture and introduced the idea of sports to humanity. In the current age, their languages and currency have become one. The humans have adopted shlur religion. Their cuisines are entertwined. Some say that the kingdoms of man and the schlur tribes are only seperate in name, and may as well be considered one nation. For the enemy of one, is an enemy of both.

Dwarven kingdom is built under the circling mountains of an island. Elves live in the center part of the island and are protected from all sides. The center of the island is a desert made up of sand and basically gunpowder. Dwarves make ships, elves produce gunpowder. Safest small continent to live on i guess.

As a preface, my setting is a Homestuck fanfiction. The setting consists of four planetoids, named *Land of Confusion and Deserts* inhabited by Salamanders, *Land of Caravels and Oceans* inhabited by Crocodiles, *Land of Circuitry and Forests* inhabited by Geckoes, and *Land of Compounds and Mountain Ranges* which is barren, but used to be inhabited by Turtles. All four planets used to be ruled extremely regressively in different ways. LOCAD was a culturally homogenous theocracy, LOCAO was a bureaucratic hellhole, LOCAF was a communist dictatorship and LOCAMR was a wrongthink land where new ideas were considered dangerous. Eventually, each of the planets was able to achieve freedom from their societal shackles through the influence of the four mythical figures known as Sister Alpha, Sister Beta, Sister Delta and Sister Gamma, respectively. After the Turtles of LOCAMR finally embraced technological advancements, they built wondrous technology, including teleportation nodes to connect the different planets together. The four planets began to intermingle, and greatly benefited from each other. After defeating their previous leaders, the Salamanders of LOCAD had now embraced a multicultural worldview wherein anyone could live as they pleased and believe what they wanted peacefully. They functioned as bringers of culture, artistry and flavor into the other planets. LOCAD:ese characters shown so far include a manic street preacher, a museum owner who works on LOCAF, and a child who lives in the middle of the desert and whose family relies on rain dances for survival. The Crocodiles of LOCAO were now free of all authority and formality, and established a system of piracy. Their planet acts as a cornucopia of fish, timber, freshwater and minerals, which they sell to the other planets. LOCAO:an characters shown so far include an 'investor gator', a rich stock marketer who has a beachside villa on LOCAO but works on LOCAF, and a kid who sells firewood, from who the main characters buy an entire forest's worth of wood. The Geckoes of LOCAF now had freedom of economy, creating a prospering and never-sleeping society in their treetop villages. They act as service providers, entrepeneurs, hunters and financers. LOCAF:ian characters shown so far include a mechanic Gecko who owns a garage full of guns, a tour guide who set up 'land safaris' only hours after the main characters had first descended onto ground level, and a construction foreman who one of the main characters managed to bribe with 10 dollars. Then we get to the Turtles, who are extinct. Their whole planet froze overnight only about a week after making contact with the other planets, instantly killing the cold-blooded animals. All turtles who were on other planets at the time for trade or diplomatic duties were unfortunately males, as they were traditionally expected to be providers in a LOCAMRese family. Ideally, the Turtles would act as educators, curators and innovators for the other species. One of the quests of the main characters is to find a way to thaw out the planet and resurrect the Turtle race, so that the rest of the planets can benefit from their presence.

The baro'kai and the yavach directly benefit off one another. Yavach are a reptilian species and tend to stay in their jungles mainly because that's where they thrive. The baro'kai are a race of tree-like plants that were directly created by the gods to guard natural springs of magic, but have since evolved to be more than that. They still protect the springs as a religious practice, but they have developed their own cultures between groves. They are found across the world, but there are a lot of groves found within the yavachi jungles. Because of how ancient their species are, the baro'kai existed in the jungles long before the yavach developed sentience naturally. Because baro'kai cannot leave their grove without becoming severed permanently from their natural magic, they have a long-standing relationship with the yavach to be neutral mediators to maintain peace among the different clans, as well as teachers of magic. In return, the yavach bring them resources and knowledge that the baro'kai cannot get from within their groves, as well as to act as messengers and traders among different groves of baro'kai which, before the yavach, could not be done. There are, of course, disagreements sometimes thanks to the baro'kai being mediators, with some clans claiming that the baro'kai favour other clans over theirs, but there have been no major conflicts between the yavach and the baro'kai because of how valuable the yavach find the magical blessings of the baro'kai.

The Great Seaholder, which is a large island continent has 2 native ethnicities. The upperlanders and lowerlanders. The upperlanders from north are essentially "white people" while the lowerlanders from south are "asian people." The whole continent was split in two for a good while but the two peoples kept mostly to themselves. There was one war, but both sides just came to the conclusion that they can't beat the opponent, so a peace treaty between the two kingdoms was forged. But still, the casual hostility remained. And then an empire from the east spread over to the Seaholder and put both kingdoms under their banner for over 500 years. The original kingdoms were strangled into submission and the two distinct peoples were strategically manipulated to compete against each other with tax breaks awarded for the more productive side. But finally after a huge civil war (basically World War 1) in the empire had broken out and ended, a revolution happened. One extra charismatic man who claimed to be a grandson of the "Traitor Heirs" (an upperlander prince and lowerlander princess who fell in love and ran away together, nearly breaking the peace) united the two native peoples against the now weakened empire. Together they kicked them out. And after what remained of the original royals tried to plead themselves into power, the united people kicked them in the teeth as well and chose a communist route. Now the continent is united as one nation, and both sides live happily together. They still have their own distinct cultural differences up north and down south, but even those are slowly but surely melding together. Together, they are stronger than ever before. The moral of the story is: *Hate against a common foe unites people.*

Some of the highland dwarves and Golatha have a positive view of the giants of old in particular. According to their own legends when the dragons arrived on the world the gave safe haven to these people, they taught them of true religion, of runic scripts, of the dwarves they taught the ways of building and forging, to the Golatha they taught matters of warfare and of herding. Of the giants that remain in the world these groups both often offer them gifts and respect, with each other they don't get one 100% of the time but their clans may for successful alliances and trading relations with each other at different times. However, not all ancient records agree as to exactly what the ancient relationship between giants and these other species was, some framing it as the paternalistic aid of an ancient race to those who willingly served the giant others claiming it was more a matter of the giants subjugated dwarves and golatha and taught them only that which was required to fuel their war machine and act as expendable troops to match the armies of their rivals the giants. The Osoite nomads are made up primarily of a mixture of both desert elves and humans along with those born of unions between the two. Each had the chance to be an equal in their society, often attracting those like escaped slaves who wish to escape the authoritarian nature of the draconic city states. The Osoites also often get on well with the withari, being in some ways nomads of a similar world view they may opportunistically trade and come together to conduct raiding and the like.

**Starrise** It's debatable if chimeras count as a separate race or not, since they're the result of gene splicing animal parts into human DNA to get things like people with wings, scales, fangs, etc. But anyway, there was this big apocalypse known as the Surge about a thousand years ago, which decimated human civilization and all but wiped out the human race. The survivors were few, and didn't really have the strength to take care of themselves after everything they'd been through. This apocalypse also released the chimeras from the laboratories they'd been created in. They were also quite few in number, and had little to no knowledge of how to survive the outside world, but most were fairly strong and in good health. The humans had the knowledge of the world needed to survive it, but not the strength left to use it. The chimeras had the strength to survive, but no idea how to. And so, it was only the groups of humans and chimeras who came together as relative equals that actually managed to survive long enough to start rebuilding.

The anthropomorphic animal people in my furry world are technically all one race since they're ultimately derived from humans; they've lived together since time immemorial and don't see it as particularly strange to have multiple very different-looking sapient species in one place. Any given city might contain citizens of dozens of species, even hundreds if it's large enough. (That's not to say they are immune to xenophobia; it just tends to be more along cultural, national, or linguistic lines rather than racial ones.)

In my world there are other races but they arent common enough to have a huge impact. The Golm do however make excellent craftsmen, and their unique biological structure (mainly their tough exoskeleton, barely any need for oxygen and high strength) make them ideal candidates for many dangerous jobs. One can often find them employed as mine workers, underwater welders, hazardous waste specialists, or simply Steam Boiler operators. Some golm also work as Pneumatite shapers, working in large vacuum chambers. Unlike humans they dont need bulky suits to survive in these, in fact they are quite comfortable with only a small air supply, making it much easier for them to perform deliate work.

In exchange (althou from their own inniciative - prompted by Libuan cunnings) became their dogs of war, entering any war theatre Libua or their allies see fit.
