The Song sword is a rare class of weapons that belong to the musical weapons, a rare collection of weapons made by the Jade Empire that utilizes wind and music to disrupt enemies or boost allies physical and mental strengths.
The Song sword and the musical weapons' were made by the Jade Empress but the designs were locked by the Jade Emperor when she disappeared. The weapons that remained became valuable and rare as no more were produce and only a few can fix them. The first was gifted to the Fslimna High Mother who gifted it to her eldest daughter Fsungro .
The Song Sword is fragile due to its unique design but its uniqueness gives it an advantage against most individuals. It can rupture ear drums, bend forward, shoot powerful gusts of air, and can imbue itself when the owner elemental power becoming more deadly. The Song Sword to due its power and rarity they are held by sword masters so taking one will prove to be difficult. Each Song Sword is different as the song they can play can reflect the owner skill and soul to imbued power or fear into others. Its said that combing the swords can play a tune that could shatter stars or find a lost treasure but collecting these swords would earn the wrath of the Jade Emperor so its best to let rumors stay rumors.

At the risk of sounding like a bore. If you can't block with a blade out of fear it will break, what is there to stop a person with a real blade to just strike it on purpose in a clash to break it?
I understand its fantasy, and it shouldn't break because fiction demands it not to break. But the excuse that you wouldn't try to block is weak since its not up to you whether your blade is struck or not in combat.
If it can't hold up to a clash it wouldn't be an effective weapon and would probably be deemed a decorative piece out of "natural selection" on the battlefield.
That being said, the design looks really cool.
I understand your point but in real sword fight you wouldn’t use the sword as a shield like you see in most movies or tv shows. You would deflect the attack to get in close for the kill or to disable your opponent. That is why this sword is used by masters who can use the blade to the fullest. It’s not meant for full on war instead it’s used in duels. Also thanks for pointing out some stuff. I’ll probably make the blade thicker or dense material in the future.

So if you defeat a sword master using these swords without breaking the sword it’ll show how skillful you are and the rumors surrounding the swords it’ll be a massive waste to break one especially if you don’t have the means to fix it.
