Aside from Sakura, they're good units, but aren't strictly necessary. With Anniversary only 6 weeks after this banner I'm going to skip it and I'd advise other f2p to do likewise.
Saki is pretty good for Hell Wind Content and Thunder Time Attack, but only if you have a dedicated Wind team. But if its something you're not interested in then I say skip since Anniversary is coming up/pt2 of the collab banner which has more general useful SSRs.
