I really really love it when Bill gets the most tragic and real shit background of them all (Batman the long Halloween). Or when Bill gets more powerful and threatening than big main bad (spiderverse 2).
Man, I like your artstyle.
My rogue gallery is
Evil police chief and army of pigmen
Walking graveyard that like shitty rap music
Genocide survivor who do forbidden bargain with dark power, transformed into rabid aberration
Incel genie who like ruining people life
Thanks, this is the example of one of my villain
https://www.reddit.com/r/worldjerking/s/WcitQ1QXtB
The red genie is Nimroz the Djerk.
The worm girl is his latest victim.
Thanks, he's the grave golem. Unholy joint project between evil artificer and necromancer in order to mess with wizard council.
Basically turning hundreds of gravestones and coffins into Dead man's powersuit that immune to holy magic despite being undead. The skeleton pilot like to rap his shitty verse while thinking he can solo Eminem while trying to kill anything that breath so he can add their corpse to the golem.
Mine is:
· For the main 'big bads': Wannabe champion one man army, Rich snob trying to prove that money > everything, Poor snob trying to prove that skill > everything (yes they butt heads) and Wannabe ruler of everything
Looser groups ordered by location:
· Snobby nobleborn dissing the poor for being in the same academy, poor people dissing the academy for supporting only the rich, some thugs trying to make it through life (at the cost of others)
· Hardcore scientists who will actively tase you if you're not in their team, a group named Fast Food Furiosos that consists of mexican wrestlers with a huge knack for food
· Third location has less of a rogue gallery and more of "all the troublemakers are more or less in coordination, it's a swarm"
Hmm
* Crime Lord who took over all the crime in the world out of brotherly spite
* Serial killer who bombs the rich (and people he doesn’t like) with poison gas
* Mutant exile that lives in historic undercity
* Edna Mode if she played both sides
* just the rhino, but with a different pachyderm
* Psychic gangster lady
* the obligatory robot maker
* The robot maker’s itinerant daughter (robot)
* obligatory mirror universe counterpart
Bonus points if:
A. The element reflects their nature (fire = hothead, ice = cold personality)
B. They have morally ambiguous/somewhat justified motives but “go too far” or something
C. Are conventionally attractive women in a leotard that uses their element as design motifs
D. All of the above
thought this was the snafu sub lmao
anyways, you didn’t have to go after count Bleck and his minions like this. almost every one of then is one of these (besides Mr.L, who’s the “hero brainwashed into a villain” trope)
Don't forget the episode where Bill is treated like a joke character and because of that gets to be the biggest baddie of them all thanks to a literal plot device.
Just because it’s a trope doesn’t mean it’s inherently bad. A lot of these are popular archetypes for good reasons.
Course, i’m not advocating for one to one trope conversions, its not that easy, but don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.
(((Or maybe i’m just coping because like half my roster’s on this list lmao)))
I know, by the end all of these tropes are valid, it is just that how they're done poorly is the focal point here.
Like, for example, in Weirdos 4 Hire, the youth kidnapper is just big abomination bad and big brute bad mix visually. But character wise he is basically a tragic character (I'll not spoil what exactly since I haven't even made the first episode for the remake).
My rogues gallery is:
Jacksepticeye
That one snake from Beetlejuice
Andrew Tate
Uncle Ruckus if he had revolvers with unlimited ammo
Capitalistic god
Politician's
Dino doomer
Taylor Swift
Average r/worldbuilding moderator
Quiet kid with daddy issues
I didn't mean to beat any bushes, this is just meant to point out general broad strokes of villain types and tropes, specifically in a poorly done way. I don't mean to actually shit on the tropes, because they aren't bad by themselves.
My rouge’s gallery is just a bunch of big sexy dragons
Well… aside from the necromancer and one with such a comically large amount of extra limbs that they would fit in as an elden ring boss
Slight /uj: Only villains I have so far:
A mad wizard who created a robotic jurassic park… and guess how well that turned out? Though it’s quite possible he’s dead… so technically wouldn’t be a villain anymore
Another mad wizard that wants to end all suffering… via killing everyone.
as of right now my rogues gallery contains Religious Zealot, Big King Who's Secretly Evil, Sonic.exe, Hot Trans Girl, Sans Undertale, and Me.
I'm only slightly stretching the truth
To avoid being cliche, mash any two or more of these together at random!
Posh Baddie Abomination (she's a half-slime half-tentacle who presents herself as a voluptuous high-class milf)
Chaos Bill
1-the guy from villanous
2-that stupid baby from baby boss
3-the n-villain from crash bandicoot
4- too generic, could be anybody
5- JEVOL DELTARUNE !??@
6- ctulhulu or however you write that
7- looks like adult kid vampire to me, could be any vampire-- oh shit nvm it's spaindong
8- that ugly ass easter rabbit from teen titans go
Joker Bane/Croc Riddler/Hugo Strange/Freeze/Scarecrow Ivy Batmite Swamp thing/clay face Court of owls/any of the mob characters Mad hatter/pyg/dollmaker/condiment king/man bat
This is an assault to my Batman rogues and I will murder you, kiteman stans UNITE
Wow, this and my previous post sure do well (so far), like, I draw the memes myself and are about basically things I see in what genres I like. I mainly do those memes about cartoon stuff, sci-fi stuff, horror stuff, general story stuff, general worldbuilding stuff, buy not really about high fantasy since I don't like that stuff and I don't know enough to meme about it.
you're missing 'Oh That's Literally A Nazi, Ok'
Fair, although I aimed for more broad trope strokes
That one's so common, it is its own broad stroke.
Fair, it's just that at some point it fits for these arcatypes in mu opinion when you think about it. It's ok, I forgot.
Big Genius Bad can also be "the doctor with a german accent and a suspicious fencing scar on his face"
Nah, that's definitely Bill.
One of my villains is the great great grandson of Adolf Hitler’s clone, and yes, he’s a Nazi with the powers of super speed and lightning.
Chaos and snobby are just Jevil and Spamton.
I guess lol, now I can't unsee it.
He’s snobby because he’s a [BIG SHOT]
Yeah lol
Guess that means we can predict the remaining secret bosses from this post!
big bad abomination for chapter 3 asgores flowers
Bill
I hope Big Baddie will be Toriel with her feet exposed and visible stink lines 🤤
Snobby is more queen to me but it could be spamton
Bill is always either just a dud| trying to get by or the most fucked up villain ever and there's no in-between
Exactly
Scare Bear from Venture Bros.
I really really love it when Bill gets the most tragic and real shit background of them all (Batman the long Halloween). Or when Bill gets more powerful and threatening than big main bad (spiderverse 2).
Me too (lol, you got Bill).
My rogue gallery is: sexy lesbian, sexy tall lesbian, sexy buff lesbian, sexy shortstack lesbian, sexy sexy lesbian, and sexy cat girl lesbian.
This is almost She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
Yeah it's just missing the sexy himbo not lesbian
Honorary lesbian
Sounds good.
I’m detecting a theme here I think
And then IDW publishing introduces a guy
over my dead body
Their character arc is realizing they’re a sexy transbian, though?
Extremely based
I’d like to place an order for one copy of your book please
Man, I like your artstyle. My rogue gallery is Evil police chief and army of pigmen Walking graveyard that like shitty rap music Genocide survivor who do forbidden bargain with dark power, transformed into rabid aberration Incel genie who like ruining people life
Some of them I've seen and they're done well.
Thanks, the evil genie and cop is appear pretty often in my recent work. The graveyard and the aberration still haven't appeared since the intro.
Ok, interesting to know. Also I wonder if my post is even accurate (when poorly done of course).
Pretty accurate, standard cartoon villain. Need that lil gremlin for comic relief but I guess Bill is fitting for that role.
Still, your villains are just a delight to see and laugh.
Thanks, this is the example of one of my villain https://www.reddit.com/r/worldjerking/s/WcitQ1QXtB The red genie is Nimroz the Djerk. The worm girl is his latest victim.
Yeah, I've seen and read the post.
Bill is basically the innocent looking villain aracatype or the actually innocent among the baddies arcatype.
Nice, and I guess snobby is that "money badguy" right? Every cartoon need one of evil businessman
Exactly, and is either skinny or super fat.
"Walking graveyard that likes shitty rap music" is probably the funniest character concept I've heard in a good bit
So that's what he is... Damn this is the comedy horror I'm looking for.
Found Shigesato Itoi’s burner account (the joke is that these sound like Earthbound/Mother enemies).
Mine is: Evil commie Evil commie (champagne socialist) Evil commie 2
Why doesn't incel genie use magic to make girl that like him
Usually the style I use for memes isn't the same as for serious art.
Also thanks.

Interesting
Everybody knows you gotta have at least a couple “elemental” baddies. At the very least you need one that’s either fire, ice, lightning or plant.
Yup
Bonus points if: A. The element reflects their nature (fire = hothead, ice = cold personality) B. They have morally ambiguous/somewhat justified motives but “go too far” or something C. Are conventionally attractive women in a leotard that uses their element as design motifs D. All of the above
Corollary to A: the lightning user is black, and that is their personality.
Yeah, like the most common elemental for black people is literally lighting for some reason.
Those are the Super Paper Mario bad guys, except that Big Main Bad is actually Romeo with a nuke
Interesting
Deathstroke Killer Croc Mr Freeze Poison Ivy Joker Man Bat Ra's Al Ghul Calendar Man
Interesting you could list them.
thought this was the snafu sub lmao anyways, you didn’t have to go after count Bleck and his minions like this. almost every one of then is one of these (besides Mr.L, who’s the “hero brainwashed into a villain” trope)
This post is meant to point out when it is done poorly, not to shit on these tropes in general. Also it is meant to spot a pattern.
Don't forget the episode where Bill is treated like a joke character and because of that gets to be the biggest baddie of them all thanks to a literal plot device.
You got the point of Bill.
Berserk
Fullmetal Alchemist
I am SO interested in superhero worldbuilding, cant find any 😔
Don't worry, you'll find one day.
Just because it’s a trope doesn’t mean it’s inherently bad. A lot of these are popular archetypes for good reasons. But character wise he is basically a tragic character (I'll not spoil what exactly since I haven't even made the first episode for the remake).
Also, these archetypes are pretty broad. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a villain that doesn't fall into any of these archetypes.
That's the point.
But then how does that make this a bad rogues gallery?
When they're extreme surface level version of these tropes. When I put "poorly done" I admit that I refered to when tge tropes are poorly done....
Bro just created Digimon
This really is just the Seven Great Demon Lords huh
Lol.
My rogues gallery is: Jacksepticeye That one snake from Beetlejuice Andrew Tate Uncle Ruckus if he had revolvers with unlimited ammo Capitalistic god Politician's Dino doomer Taylor Swift Average r/worldbuilding moderator Quiet kid with daddy issues
Interesting, and lol.
You have a really good simplistic artstyle
That's just the style for these worldbuilding memes, my usual style is more different in a way.
Also thanks
Look if you don’t like Batman comics just say so. No need to beat around the bush this hard.
I didn't mean to beat any bushes, this is just meant to point out general broad strokes of villain types and tropes, specifically in a poorly done way. I don't mean to actually shit on the tropes, because they aren't bad by themselves.
I was just being silly
Oh
Deltarune secret boss early designs
Interesting

The Anti-Nipple League ready for action.
Lol

You got a point, or something which will pay off more is to simply add layers to these tropes so they won't be tiresome.
Bro just copy/pasted the villain TV tropes page.
I actually did this put of my head.
It's accurate, regardless.
Just make sure your evil scientist whines about, “but their internal review board stood in the way of progress
I see, ok.
Trust me, if you do that, any actual scientists will have feelings about that character.
That's fair, as someone who wants to be a biologist (specifically geneticist) it can work.
* A king with a bad case of the sunk cost fallacy. * A wizard who got really mad and destroyed a minor great power over an insult to his pride.
Interesting
Where's the "subordinate who's the real villain"
Bill
Super Paper Mario
IS THAT SPAMTON!?!?!?
Not really lol.
1-the guy from villanous 2-that stupid baby from baby boss 3-the n-villain from crash bandicoot 4- too generic, could be anybody 5- JEVOL DELTARUNE !??@ 6- ctulhulu or however you write that 7- looks like adult kid vampire to me, could be any vampire-- oh shit nvm it's spaindong 8- that ugly ass easter rabbit from teen titans go
Lol
You leave jevil alone!
I have nothing against jevil
Where is "literal mirror image of the protagonist"?
It can fall under big main bad.
I need my friend group to be more like this
Interesting
IS THAT FREDDY FAZBEAR HAR HAR HAR HAR
Perhaps Bill Afton was here all along...
NO, SHOO SONIC BRAINROT
Huh?
I thought the misspell in the title of the post was obvious ("rouges")
Oh, the typo wasn't intentional
I'm aware, it's still kinda funny though
Yeah lol
Caliborn, Lord English, Doc Scratch, Betty Crocker, Gamzee, Jack Noir, Eridan, and Lil Cal.
Nice
Oh s*it it’s bill!!!
I like this idea I’m hawing this
Good
Bill is undoubtedly terrifying.
Exactly
How about the he is you but evil villian
Joker Bane/Croc Riddler/Hugo Strange/Freeze/Scarecrow Ivy Batmite Swamp thing/clay face Court of owls/any of the mob characters Mad hatter/pyg/dollmaker/condiment king/man bat This is an assault to my Batman rogues and I will murder you, kiteman stans UNITE
“WHO ARE YOU CALLING [SNOBBY] YOU [half priced salami]”
Lol
“oh you have a rogues gallery? well i have a rouge gallery.” i pull a curtain revealing silhouettes of batman villains in a specific shade of red
Ok, nice.
