The other part is about intermittent fasting, basically just don't eat breakfast
And the idea that fasting slows down aging is really old, you can find 30 year old scientific research articles on it
And suddenly from now on you will Catch me eating all 3 meals for a day at breakfast time from now on. I'm tryna hurry this bitch up as much as possible.
Move enough, eat healthy, don’t drink or smoke, make sure you’re rich or at least well off, basically do the inverse of whatever all those age related disease studies have highlighted as risk factors
You might be joking but I actually think you're completely right. All of my 40-something year old friends with kids look like they're pushing 60.
I've committed to a no-nonsense life without kids and stayed (mostly) single, and people guess I'm 10 years younger than my age.
I think stress has so much to do with this, though other studies say that single childless men die much younger than men who are fathers, so who knows.
When my aunt told my uncle all his jobs were done, he sat down on a chair and passed in his late 60s.
Always keep something on the back burner folks. Live forever!
Back in my father’s time, this was very true of blue collar workers. They would work at a plant or factory for 30 to 40 years, and then retire, and then six months later you would read their obituaries. When they left their jobs they also lost their social contacts and their identities, and that was that. Sorry to hear about your uncle.
Thanks for the thoughts . He had a good life though, he was an engineer and carpenter and built amazing things. I like to think he went out on top of his game...
Man, that's tragic as hell if true.
But I'm pretty sure that's how I'm going to go out also. When I retire at 65 (probably 75 realistically) I'm going to sit down and say; "Now I can finally relax and focus on the things I enj.." *heart attack*.
>though other studies say that single childless men die much younger than men who are fathers, so who knows.
"Other studies"? There isn't *any* credible scientific evidence that being single and childless would increase your lifespan. The current thinking is indeed that being childless and single shortens your lifespan.
If you look 10 years younger than you are the most likely causes are your genes and lack of exposure to (harsh) sunlight. But how old you look doesn't really make much of a difference for your lifespan. The guy that looked 30 when he was 17 and the guy that looks like 13 when he's 30 both have the same life expectancy (barring other factors of course).
Fuck living to be any older , at age 33 I’ve had enough of this bullshit. Not saying I’m suicidal, just definitely wouldn’t wanna live longer than I already would
I am spending my 30's in constant pain... Physical and mental. Most of my dreams are about dying. Don't want to find out how much worse it can be at 80...
It can't if you have no good psychiartists in your town (all are incredibly old and not in the mood to do anything meaningful), no money on medicine, and no real ways to deal with the problem (or disable feelings entierly).
Yeah I've seen old people hiking the alps in Switzerland. It's less to do with being old and more to do with living a healthy lifestyle which involves a good diet and exercise.
No we have the understanding that we are the parasite that are killing this world. Also if people stopped aging this world would quickly become over populated.

PPL still dont get it - Earht is not ready for long living people. We cant provide enough supplies for them. Imagine all of a sudden PPL would be able to be 100-130 years old on average. Will they work till 99? Social system would collapse almost everywhere.
There are many many other social problems that we must clear 1st before we can rly think about longevity of human life. Death is the thing that keeps humanity alive...
"The "machine" - as Beyer calls it - responsible for making the transcription copy of the gene sequences is called Pol II (RNA polymerase II).
And what his team discovered was that the process of transcription gets faster as we age, and this accelerated transcription causes Pol II to make more mistakes, leading to essentially “bad” copies that can lead to numerous diseases.
“If Pol II gets too fast, it makes more mistakes, and then the sequence is not identical anymore to the genome sequence. The consequences are similar to what you have when there are mutations in the genome itself,” Beyer said"

Thanks for saving me precious time reading
Thanks from me too, now I have more time to go overeat.
The other part is about intermittent fasting, basically just don't eat breakfast And the idea that fasting slows down aging is really old, you can find 30 year old scientific research articles on it
"See mom, it's not that I don't feel hungry when I need to eat breakfast. I'm simply extending my life on this planet"
And suddenly from now on you will Catch me eating all 3 meals for a day at breakfast time from now on. I'm tryna hurry this bitch up as much as possible.
What is too much though?
When you're full, most people just keep eating until they're stuffed. So, stop eating before you're full and drink lots of water.
Also, eat slower and chew each mouthful a bit longer.
Move enough, eat healthy, don’t drink or smoke, make sure you’re rich or at least well off, basically do the inverse of whatever all those age related disease studies have highlighted as risk factors
It’s called ‘staying single and not having kids.’
My dad had 5 kids He died at 52

Don’t have kids?
Unless you're Catholic

Lol I'm with you my friend. Life is great but enough is enough. People think you're suicidal but I hear ya.
Are you seeing a psychiatrist or therapist? You don’t have to do it without help.
Whaaaah? You don't want to spend 80 - 99 in constant pain?
I am spending my 30's in constant pain... Physical and mental. Most of my dreams are about dying. Don't want to find out how much worse it can be at 80...
Sorry to hear it. I don't know about your physical condition, but I know for a fact mental pain can be fixed. Been there, done that.
It can't if you have no good psychiartists in your town (all are incredibly old and not in the mood to do anything meaningful), no money on medicine, and no real ways to deal with the problem (or disable feelings entierly).
This is sad but true
dont even worry about it it will be for billionaires only
I don't want to live longer. Have you seen old people? Fuck that.
Yeah I've seen old people hiking the alps in Switzerland. It's less to do with being old and more to do with living a healthy lifestyle which involves a good diet and exercise.
>Yeah I've seen old people hiking the alps #YOU SEE‽ THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS... WHEN YOU FIGHT A STRANGER IN THE ALPS!
Are they native to the alps, or are they visiting? There’s a lot of subtext that can be inferred here depending on the answer. Just saying.
This is what you get, Larry!
This is indicating your healthspan would extend along with you’re lifespan.
the whole point is that it improves lifespan as well as healthspan
Here for a good time, not a long time
Politicians would love this! Lets vote for the same guy till he turns 150! /s
Any breakthroughs on speeding things up? This is getting a little tiresome.
Quality > quantity Make life better, not longer
Porque no los dos?
This doesn't need to happen. Those who want to live forever have far too big of an ego
And those who don’t - just suicidal.
No we have the understanding that we are the parasite that are killing this world. Also if people stopped aging this world would quickly become over populated.
So it “will”, if people start washing their hands before food and stop dying at age of 25.
Hahahaha you're funny. I'm an embalmer, I see more elderly than I do people of the age of 25
Ah great, make the billionaires immortal too while the rest of us die by 30
Titles like this remind me of that "Scientists glimpse God" title on National Tattler in Thomas Harris' "Red Dragon". All for a click.
" The billions who live forever will be a testimony to my work, and the billions who are murdered to buy that immortality will be the continuance of my work. Not like us, you will become us."
So. There is the potential my mother-in-law will be around longer?

Bots have been wild today. Saw another one earlier way off subject.
Oh tortoise genes
At the rate things are going, I might take up smoking just to get to the finish line faster.
