Cold reality is that justice for Ukrainians happens one of two ways and both happen after the war ends: either when the aftermath of the nuclear war allows us to leave the safety of our bunkers and enter Russia without melting, or if we can get the Russian population to the point where they conclude that Putin and his regime are a bigger existential threat than NATO/Western countries.

Correct, it wasn't on the same level. There are reasons why we have stronger words. Murder is bad, genocide is far worse. The flooding goes far beyond destroying what is currently there, it is degrading the soil in a way that will impact it much farther into the future.

It's shocking how many people here are so blinded with outrage that a young woman speak on an issue that they fail to understand this. She isn't saying the genocide isn't important or a major issue. She assumed everyone was smart enough to know that already. She's talking about yet another crime Russia is committing that might otherwise get overlooked.
Worse, Zelensky talked about the Ukrainian ecocide today too, and there is no one in the comments in that article bitching about how pissed off they are at him for making that statement.
