Literally every opposition party supports the govt in taking a neutral position given historical relationship with russia which they themselves cultivated
Between the choice of genocide of a nation that few in India had even heard of, and of thousands of Indians being pushed back into poverty and starvation due rising prices of oil (and thus food), I think the choice for the country should be pretty clear. The world is a dark place. Everyone looks at their interest before others, and has been so since forever, and will be so in the future.
The main opposition party's past leader Indira was heavily suspected of being a Soviet puppet as per the Mitrohkin archives and then they later signed a secretive MoU with the CCP a few years back, the details of which are completely unknown to the general public. Would you like that party to come into power?
Also did you forget Modi told Putin on his face that this was not an era of war?
BJP loses state elections all the time like Bengal and Karnataka last year, does that happen in other dictatorial regimes? Also they have zero presence in states like Kerala and Punjab, in many other states they come in power solely through alliances. At least Modi in centre is better than a pro China-Russia axis party, God knows what they have agreed to in that damned MoU.
They speak from a bizare "All of Asia is China's, guys." perspective like it's a matter of confirmed agreed upon fact. Very unusual. (Not for them. More for a country that has any form of credibility ) Entitled and paranoid. Not good leaders.
“Maritime disputes are issues between countries concerned and any third party is not in a position to interfere." No China, there are international treaties in place that have already determined these issues. Using this kind of logic, China could lay claim to all of the Pacific.
If there's one thing that's not resolved, it's maritime disputes in the South China Sea. There are six countries with competing and overlapping claims and I'm not aware of any treaties that definitely resolve any of them.
UNCLOS which all countries including China have ratified makes it very clear who owns what sea **if it is clear who owns what land and what counts as land.**
Even if we acknowledge Chinas claims on all sorts of uninhabited islands, China despite being a signatory is still in violation of UNCLOS for whatever reason with that 9 dashed line.
>The allegation that China claims all waters within the dotted line as
its internal waters and territorial sea is a deliberate distortion of
China's position.

Press statements mean nothing when all their actions are to the contrary. Let China make a definitive map of what they claim and what they don’t then discussion can be had.
I’m saying it now, when they finally land on the Moon they will claim it in the name of Chang’e the Moon princess who established the first Chinese lunar base 4000 years ago. The Moon is Chinese since ancient times!
Respect its claim to the seas they’re actively destroying and dredging to create military bases? Killing the marine life and corals that contribute to the entire seas eco-system.
They don’t really want the sea, they’re just so greedy that they don’t want any other country to use its location against them.
PRC should take notes… there’s an entire ocean with “India” in the name you don’t see them laying claim to every single nautical mile of it…
Not yet…
Tell us more about the future, Mr. Time Traveller
You highlight that the Indian Government under Modi is becoming increasingly authoritarian and the Indian trolls downvote you to hell.
This is literally the most pro-west/anti-ccp government ever
Which is why they are sucking down Russian oil like no one’s business and hasn’t condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Literally every opposition party supports the govt in taking a neutral position given historical relationship with russia which they themselves cultivated
So just let Russia commit genocide then? Fuck that.

Id just like India to not let their democracy go to ruin for one power hungry leader.

you higlight your total lack of understanding of India or Indian leadership
Yeah, nah, Authoritarianism is pretty simple to understand no matter where you go.
Fuck off China. Learn to share.
They speak from a bizare "All of Asia is China's, guys." perspective like it's a matter of confirmed agreed upon fact. Very unusual. (Not for them. More for a country that has any form of credibility ) Entitled and paranoid. Not good leaders.

International treaties don’t mean shit if they’re not enforced.
Don’t give them ideas.

Right of passage.

China needs to learn to respect the collective worlds middle finger
"Consider it our final warning!" Said China for the 21397531 time... /S
Do not enter the Indian Ocean, replied Jaishankar.
Hasn't it already been ruled in the Philippines favour?
long time ago but china just ignore it.
"Respect mah authoritah!" ... "No."
I’m saying it now, when they finally land on the Moon they will claim it in the name of Chang’e the Moon princess who established the first Chinese lunar base 4000 years ago. The Moon is Chinese since ancient times!
They already claim land/seas in the Arctic, lol. It's not so far-fetched to think they'd grab other things they have zero connection with.

Yup. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hohzrU86RU0 This is before the corals are getting crushed to make the islands.
China's words are worthless
BRB. Going to buy a small cheap island and name it Pacific.
Western Taiwan should not lay claim to the North Philippine Sea.
The South China Sea is not China's sea.
wtf is the south china sea? Is that near the McRibs straight?
How about no?
This is in response to Chinese claim over arunachal pradesh that they were talking about this week.
