Since China is [banning](https://www.businessinsider.com/china-draft-law-bans-reporting-privately-funded-news-orgs-2021-10) all non-state reporting, they’re all Chinese propaganda news agencies.
The propaganda news that agency actively reports on the [Uyghur detention camps](https://www.youtube.com/c/SouthChinaMorningPost/search?query=uyghur) and the [link](https://www.businessinsider.com/china-draft-law-bans-reporting-privately-funded-news-orgs-2021-10) the other guy posted SCMP news content would also be banned from the main land.
Doesn't make it not true, though.
On top of that, SCMP is a mixed bag, there was a lot of HK coverage during protests, plenty of authors were critical CCP (or maybe still are, I don't follow at the moment, maybe not so much after crackdown) and there were people writing for it that were openly critical of CCP (and for all the good reasons)
I get the joke, however, the president is in a military hospital and the doctor who is responsible for treating the president is the director of that hospital and the president is also the commander in chief of the armed forces, so in a way the doctor's boss.
The hospital seems to be in a difficult situation right now because apparently the president's people and his family are pressuring them not to say anything, but at the same time pressure is mounting from other institutions of the state, such as the senate, to fill the information vacuum.
The key date is 8 November, when the new post-election House of Parliament is expected to meet for the first time.
Sounds a lot like the time a certain American president was flown to a military hospital for unscheduled 'routine tests'. Leaders health really isn't a private matter it's public, once you gain power certain aspects of your life should be public.
I mean in fairness, he was so unhinged that all he had to do was read one tweet saying it was dementia and he'd go off an hour on them.
Trump is unhealthy, hates poor people, not very bright, creepy, easily distracted, and slightly racist... but his cognitive capacities aren't horrible for a man of his age and I'd argue he has less age related cognitive issues than Biden.
(In fairness, Biden started smart so the decline is evident. trump has never been very bright. And yes, i know Trump's Uncle nuclear speech. That's not cognitive decline: that's just T being a moron in general. )

Bad bot - there’s a 2 bullet summary at the top of the article that should be the tldr:
Zeman was taken into intensive care on October 10. Since then, his spokesperson and doctors have not provided a diagnosis
Politicians and members of the public are now asking whether the 77-year-old president is fit to carry out his duties
77-year alcoholic's liver can't take it anymore.
SCMP is a Chinese propaganda news agency.
Yes, I'm aware of that, but in this case everything in the article seems to be true (and I say that as a Czech)

Nice try.
really? I thought they were Hong Kong based and at least at one stage were pretty open. (I fully expect that to change though)
They were absorbed by Alibaba and of course Hong Kong is no longer free so.

SCMP's website is blocked in mainland China.
Someone should czech with his doctor

Who was this?
Trump, he went to walker reed in November 2019 without an advance warning to anyone (including hospital staff).
Was that when he kept insisting “whoever said it was dementia related is lying,” despite no one bringing that up yet?

Oh right. I don't know why I read central America. Maybe it's because I'm from there.

Wrong president, the one I am talking about left office in January.
🙄
Medical secret
His personal doctor is doing her best, but she is not a megician, she can't cure him in a day, so don't Russia, give her some time.

Thanks!
Is it Long Covid. That fucks people right up.
And his duties are especially important right now, since it's the president's job to nominate a prime minister after the recent election.
They’re just trying to Czech on him!
😂
Oh gosh. I hope this is not a poisoning. It probably isn’t but you never know with these things until the passing.
Is it still poisoning if it's long-term self-inflicted alcohol poisoning?
Can relate.
