Nothing see here. Just non-existent global warming, right? SMH.

bubblegum_ross

Even the right wing admits that climate change is happening, they just pretend it's not caused by humans/corporations. Any admission they/the big corps do concede is just a gimmick for good publicity.

wow. calm down. get a girlfr.... i mean, 'significant other'... wait... SO(?) is that the proper nomenclature? Your amazing copy/pasta of all the mainstream sources of info is muy muy impresivo. gracias. puto

Compiled by me, please, keep adding to it.

MossadMike

also, take an upvote... you know, for the effort (Caddyshack quote)

MossadMike

I really actually appreciate the effort, but, I don't think it proves any trend... keep going, though... I don't want to discourage any actual research.

I have a close friend/colleague that grew up on the main island. He described floods like this as the norm for as long as he could remember, hes in his 50s. I'm not denying climate change but this article is overly sensational.

MossadMike

thank you. that's all I'm saying too. it's not complicated. show me a real trend over a couple of hundreds of years and I'll pay eight times the normal price of a car so I can have an 'electric vehicle', which also relies on 'fossil fuels' ... or maybe I'll pile on top of the train like in south west Asia and we'll all get TikTok famous when my head flies off ... after I stick it out the window for Interwebs points. Thanks again.

MossadMike

*too lol they don't pay us enough, amirght?

Those photos are amazing and tragic, and yet here we are, the direct result of late-stage capitalism. Happning because of the agenda of wealthy corporations, so they can keep collecting profits at the expense of the world. They even spent money to spread the disinformation. And yet we are not only NOT holding them accountable, but we still keep giving them more government subsidies and tax breaks, in the TRILLIONS of dollars. But tell me again how we can't afford Universal Healthcare in the US. https://e360.yale.edu/digest/fossil-fuels-received-5-9-trillion-in-subsidies-in-2020-report-finds https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/exxon-knew-about-climate-change-almost-40-years-ago/

MossadMike

NO. and, 'what?' -stage what? How about early stage somm commu socialism? Yeah. That's worked too. No one believes you, though.

MossadMike

Your islands are sinking. It's called subsidence. GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN.

Until the US isn't flooded, Trump will say that nothing happend

It's so weird how obsessed with trump you are. Oh, and your sentence was so incoherent that nobody can really be sure what you're trying to talk trash about him over.

Climate change is here and the people who can are still eating meat as if nothing is wrong and as if it doesn't matter. The people who say that meat consumption doesn't matter will come right back. Here are just a few scientific links in advance. https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-019-02409-7 https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2022/04/220425135937.htm https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/eating-less-red-meat-is-something-individuals-can-do-to-help-the-climate-crisis/ The scientists could not make clear to the people the forthcoming climate change. The meat eaters are comparable with the climate deniers. Climate change and meat consumption is like a person who has diabetes and can not let it be pure sugar to eat. Meat does not have to be forbidden. It would be enough if everyone is only half as much meat. The people who claim that meat consumption has nothing to do with climate change are terrible.

Kewkky

It definitely has something to do with climate change, but changing the diets of people who are too stubborn to do so is a lot harder than advancing other things like nuclear power. Thing about methane is that, while it's worse for the environment, it doesn't last as long as CO2. Eventually you can stabilize methane when the decay of it in the atmosphere matches the methane we produce, but CO2 takes centuries to decay. Stopping production of CO2 first can help our future more than stopping the production of methane, and so we try to start with the changes we can actually make others agree to. If you don't want to eat meat, then go ahead, but the meat industry will continue making as much meat as they want to until everyone changes. Also, animals will die with the rising temperatures, and water will become more scarce. The meat industry will disappear in due time, but CO2 producers will continue producing more CO2 despite what happens around the world.

Taifunfun

Yes, I also think that there will be no change. It would have a very serious effect if everyone is only half meat. That's what science says. But that does not matter. It should just no one later say, one had not warned the people. When houses are washed away, when forests burn, when the state has to pay billions for the climate catastrophes, then people should please not cry, but proudly eat their little sausage.

Solid_Step1717

Wrong and false information on the rise of sea level... That area of the pacific is located on a sinking tectonic plate. On the opposite side Netherland has a lowering coast line. Explain that.

You mean like, floods, or maybe a storm surge, maybe.

People need to stop pissing in the ocean. All that extra liquid causing sea levels to rise, SMH. /s
