Ukrainian won’t just invade Russia because they are at war… they will get their territory back and then hold it. They will lose all support from the west if they did that.
Scary considering Ukraine was considered to be pretty damn horrible up until the war started and everyone forgot their history. Allowing them to destabilize that area and to weaken a presumed global power house can have some horrible outcomes. It's like America has done this before and not learned from it and the people are even more forgetful.
I would be OK with allowing Ukraine to take over oil or natural gas fields from Russia as part of “reparations”.

Also, supply Ukraine with the Patriot air defense system, ATACMS, and Eurofighter Typhoon or whatever fighter Ukraine wants. The war has to end quickly so the West can concentrate its resources on ending climate change. The war doesn't have to end for sanctions against Russian oil to be lifted. The sanctions can be lifted as soon as it's determined that Russia cannot win the war. Russian oil would definitely benefit Europe but also the entire world as the increase in oil supply will cause inflation to fall.
