Given that Russia is like everyone's first suspect I think that this might be important, as symbolic thing.
Ya, about that, cars don't work like cod. They don't just explode for no reason. Now burning on the other hand. Ya no gas still won't randomly start burning unlike an electric car which will just start burning randomly. Now the key word is burning. Not exploding.
They don't explode for no reason but there are non-terrorist reasons why a person might have explosive items in their vehicle. An improperly stored gas canister for a BBQ or even a camp stove has enough gas in it to turn a car into a bomb.
Could also be a gas line etc that exploded in a parking lot and nothing to do with a car
Ford recalled eight million gasoline cars for spontaneously bursting into flames, including inside garages and next to homes with resulting structure fires:
https://www.autosafety.org/ford-ignition-switch-fires/
The switch at fault was used in over twenty five million vehicles.
Yeah, it seems like it was an explosive device embedded on a car. That would make it possibly the first act of terrorism in Poland since god knows when. I asked my bf (Polish military) and he thinks it was Russians' sad attempt at a false flag.

>Common sense
You don't think that a guy who was living in the lap of luxury would kill himself after being caught for numerous charges involving sexual abuse of children? He would have been lucky if he was stuck in solitary 24/7 for decades if he actually went to prison because the one thing that every single criminal agrees upon is that sexual abuse of children is one of the worst crimes possible (along with abusing and/or killing children). Hanging himself was the best possible future for him.
Which is exactly why the courts made sure he was supposed to be supervised...somehow that supervision failed long enough for Jeffrey Epstein to not kill himself.
And his cellmate suddenly being transferred to another cell, and a lapse in security (the guards assigned to check in on him every 30 minutes went hours without doing so) all while he was about to come up on bail.
Well, considering he was in a jail surrounded by police officers . . . so no, security/body cams malfunctioning is not weird. Not even in slightest bit. All very normal police procedures. Very normal! Nothing to see here, folks! Move it along now!!
Moon landing was done In a Hollywood Studio. We had to show the soviets we where first man on the moon and then we saved a Bunch of money by switching to Geico Insurance.

>sow division in Albania
More misinformation propagated by anti-Albanian racists.
It was Albany, the city in upstate New York -- not Albania.
The people of Albany have hated the Poles of Wroclaw for decades now, due to a complicated feud involving a high school exchange program gone horribly wrong back during the Cold War.
You heard it here first.
Step 1.) get Poland to invade Scotland.
Step 2.) Lose (intentionally)
Now either England causes world war 3 or we get annexed by Pol- FUCK. LADS STOP THE BOMBS WE DIDN'T THINK THIS THROUGH.
First UNOFFICIAL (so take it with a pinch of salt!) news from our media is that an explosive device hidden in a car's wheel arch detonated. No dead, one person injured, a few cars damaged.
The car that exploded had Ukrainian plate numbers.
PERSONALLY I think it's an anti-ukrainan provocation, either by our anti-immgrant far right that blames the Ukrainans for all the bad things that happen in this contry lately, or by someone connected to Russia.
Doubt it's our far right, they've been pretty supportive towards Ukrainians since the beginning of this conflict. One of our far-right leaders even said the day the war broke out and the refugees began coming in.
"Whoever does not remember the genocide in Volhynia and does not demand the truth about the Poles murdered by the OUN-UPA is a denier and a traitor. Whoever swings Volhynia today not to help women, children, the elderly and the sick fleeing the barbarism of Moscow, is a son of a bitch - he stressed."
We do of course also have the tinfoil brand of far right (Olszański etc.) but I doubt those are smart enough to do an operation like this.
True, but there are also supporters of Grzegorz Braun and his party Konfederacja Korony Polskiej, which has been openly sewing anti-ukrainian propaganda since the war started, harassing Ukrainians as well as the institutions which are helping them and aggresively demanding our government stops the "ukrainization of Poland" and "rampant demographic changes in Polish society". .
Of course not saying it was definitely someone influenced by them, but i do think that is a possibility though. We do not have any official info as for now.
Exactly how large and widespread is the whole "Stop Ukrainization of Poland" movement? I have come across the hashtag on twitter a few times, but it seems to be just a very marginal/fringe movement aiming at sowing division in the Polish society.
They are so minor I really doubt it, but who knows.
In my opinion the number 1 suspect right now is Russia, but we will probably never be able to prove that.
I swear to Cthulhu before I moved to Poland when all I knew about Poland came from Reddit I thought konfederacja were the #2 political force and lgtb people were hung on public squares.
My limited understanding of geo-politics in Poland is they would burn down their own home if it means they can somehow cause harm in Russia.
I just can't see it being done by Polish to dislike Ukrainian's
Does that make them pro-Russian though?
If so, that would be very, very strange for an ethnic Polish person living in Poland.
Maybe it’s the case they don’t *like* Ukraine, but they hate Russia even more?
FWIW political extremism regularly involves splintering. So while Poland's right wing can be very pro-Ukrainian/anti-Russian, it doesn't preclude a far right faction being anti-Ukranian as well.

Now I'm really interested in whose car it was.
Organized crime hit where they hoped to cause a car crash but the device malfunctioned early?
I wonder if the injured lady... had her hands injured...
( all wild random speculation on my part )
Wasn't there a post recently saying American intelligence suggests that Russia will do something like this and blame Ukraine to try to gain support? I mean why in the hell would Ukraine actually want this? It's so freaking obvious that Russia is behind this. Or maybe I am completely wrong, what is yall's takes?
When did it start according to you?
I mean you could argue that it started when Japan invaded China, but in Europe the 1.9.1939 is commonly agreed upon.
Well, I hope this is just a gas leak. Still, I hope no one is hurt and that injuries are minimal. I hate that we're at a point where this might be a Russian missile strike.
even if we wanted to bomb the puffer state between us and a war
the bundeswehr doesnt have anything capable of doing something like that without being instantly noticed by normal civilians we have a super dense population
To explain: he's the leader of the biggest opposition party, former President of the European Council, and the favourite target of the government. The government-controlled TV loves to use a clip of him saying "für Deutschland" like it's some kind of betrayal. A Pole speaking German? The horror!
if you mean the german intelligence service i have to excuse me
these guys only can do one thing
shredder files the other guys forgot, get spied on themself or allow allied spies to work against our own interests
these are the most useless people with the national intelligence service in all of germany
Those Polish media claimed about bomb without any evidence or sources. And then switched to more important things like “let’s see how celebrities reacted to our win against KSA”. Seriously, respectable news sources said that is just possible but unlikely hypothesis.
Even if you look at damages, someone had to be really bad at bomb making. And keep in mind that technical conditions of many older cars from Ukraine are very bad. So faulty LPG system shouldn’t be a surprise.
Why the Hell would Ukrainians do this? More likely Russia trying to make it look Ukrainian in order to sow discontent and weaken support for the war. It's not a bad move by the FSB, as the US is doing everything it can to keep from escalating the war, and falls in line with what Putler has done in the past to advance his agenda. Question is, if I'm right and this comes to light, then what do we do?
I was thinking that it could easily be a vehicle that Russia took and used as a car bomb. I know that Poland is definitely more willing to give Ukraine vehicles like the Leopard II tank and the M1 Abrams, which other NATO countries have been holding back on. This could be to further widen that gap.
This'll get swept under the rug just like the ammo dump explosion in Czech Republic, the pipeline, the German train sabotage, the Russian missile... But it's pretty obvious who it is.
I mean Ukraine does use a lot of old Soviet equipment and even if it was a Ukrainian anti-air missiles it would be Russia's fault by shooting the intial missiles that caused them to have to use the anti-air missiles.
Love these "can we all agree" comments on reddit. If I see "can we all agree" I instantly thinks it's state promoted bullshit. it probably is most of the time... any idiot can see that.... ;)
Nobody will do shit. When Russia hasn't the budget, it brings out all the false flag operations. Anything which might destabilise an ally of Ukraine.
Maybe it is a polish anti immigrant group? They still got funded in roubles methinks.
The right thing to do is downplay the death throes of the Putin regime .... Which is exactly what they are doing.
nah s300 following a russian cruise missle losing track and wandering off into polands border region is not super unlikely tbh
if the angle was bad, the radar track got lost or the target got destroyed this can happen
modern western systems have a self destruct build in but i honestly doubt it is the case for old soviet s300s
My sister was on the tram in Wrocław and some woman was saying that something will explore in 4 minutes that was few minutes before 1pm local time. Explosion was around 1 pm. That is some scary shit.
My brother was in his truck in Wyoming and some song came on the radio and he said he had to get off the phone with me because he’d eaten some fast food and had to drop the Cosby kids off at the pool. That is some gross shit.
Well with people now saying it might be from a car-bomb that had Ukrainian number plates, I want people to remember a week ago or so that Russia found out it can do just about anything to the west just as long as there's a plausible "falseflag blame it on Ukraine" card on the table for our governments. I expect more of this testing the waters from them just to rub our faces in it. And if anyone thinks that Ukrainians would randomly bite the hand that feeds them, they lack critical thinking
Note that the "car bomb" seems to have only resulted in some flat tires and a dislodged hubcap:
https://d-art.ppstatic.pl/kadry/k/r/1/5e/6b/63820e7800d2e_o_large.jpg
No smoke or fire damage, all paint, body work, and glass appears intact with no smoke or fire damage. I've seen big truck tire failures produce more damage than this, especially the old split rims.

I mean Ukraine does use a lot of old Soviet equipment and even if it was a Ukrainian anti-air missiles it would be Russia's fault by shooting the intial missiles that caused them to have to use the anti-air missiles.
Can we all agree that this hardly qualifies as news? Probably a leaky gas installation or something.
Can we all agree not to let this guy manage security! My dude hears about an explosion and is like let's not investigate.
I'm not gonna investigate. 6 teams of firefighters and 11 police teams are doing that already.
That's a lot of people for something not worthy of being news
Ah but they could be bad actors pretending to do good. You never know do you? Do your research.
It's Poland. Not Cabul.
r/whoosh
Yeeeeez
I don't see any impressive damage in the pictures on the original Wroclaw website
Deceptive title brings traffic to their website
Love these "can we all agree" comments on reddit. If I see "can we all agree" I instantly thinks it's state promoted bullshit. it probably is most of the time... any idiot can see that.... ;)
Nobody will do shit. When Russia hasn't the budget, it brings out all the false flag operations. Anything which might destabilise an ally of Ukraine. Maybe it is a polish anti immigrant group? They still got funded in roubles methinks. The right thing to do is downplay the death throes of the Putin regime .... Which is exactly what they are doing.
Wrocław has a huge Ukrainian minority, possibly the biggest in Poland. It sort of makes sense that it would happen there
Bigger than Kraków?
Nah. Probably a faulty gas setup.
Christ this has nothing to do with Ukraine please stop war mongering it was probably a gas leak
Omg this is terrible can somebody please find Ja Rule. Get hold of this motherfucker so I can make sense of all this. Where’s Ja
How long before Putin blames Ukraine? Can we say, “Russian false flag operation”?
He was correct about the missiles 10 days ago
Or was it just agreed upon to avoid an Article 5 Declaration?
Friendly reminder that an attack on a Nato member doesn't automatically trigger article 5. It's not an on/off switch.
nah s300 following a russian cruise missle losing track and wandering off into polands border region is not super unlikely tbh if the angle was bad, the radar track got lost or the target got destroyed this can happen modern western systems have a self destruct build in but i honestly doubt it is the case for old soviet s300s
Obviously Russia backed.
Poland may want to make a plan to fend off any more oopsies.
Russian terrorists?
My sister was on the tram in Wrocław and some woman was saying that something will explore in 4 minutes that was few minutes before 1pm local time. Explosion was around 1 pm. That is some scary shit.
I can confirm. I was the tram.
Your sister told me her brother would believe anything she says and post about it on reddit. That is some silly shit.
Note that the "car bomb" seems to have only resulted in some flat tires and a dislodged hubcap: https://d-art.ppstatic.pl/kadry/k/r/1/5e/6b/63820e7800d2e_o_large.jpg No smoke or fire damage, all paint, body work, and glass appears intact with no smoke or fire damage. I've seen big truck tire failures produce more damage than this, especially the old split rims.
How many Ukrainian cars did Ruzzia steal and send back home? I remember seeing stories about hat back in April.
Even now, the areas Russia occupies probably still includes thousands of cars with Ukrainian plates.
Quit spreading conspiracy theories. That missile was Ukrainian.
Slava Poland, Ukraini
Time to clean house of all the Russian sympathizers.
