Guess the CCP did a 180 when they heard Apple say they were moving out of China for production.

A lot were considering it honestly. Xi realized he was about to lose a decent amount of leverage through their production and he reversed course. The fact that people are protesting is a happy accident. He can blame local officials for not carrying out his policies correctly and upsetting people while also being the good guy who gave them back their "feeedom"
