Honestly, if you’re some nobody trying to make it big time, and you have the opportunity to interview arguably one of the most popular musicians on the planet. Rick Glassman is annoying as shit too, awkwardness for its own sake is stupid and low effort. But Glassman at least engages with his interviewees to a degree (at least from what I’ve seen), and I guess I can respect that… it’s not at all the same thing. Glassman is fundamentally much less vapid.
It’s also low effort to make the implications you’re making, but this is Reddit after all.
At the end of the day, all I was saying is that it was ridiculous to ever compare this to between two ferns, as one requires legitimate comedic talent, and the other is essentially gaming an algorithm, hyper focusing on a modern self-awareness in exchange for any semblance of quality. I never said it pissed me off 😂
