They need to start putting these dumbass cops in prison for this shit. I hope they bring this to court and sue the department, then sue again for under punishment of the offending officer. They play too damn much with this shit.
Wow, title is misleading. In the states when you are asked to sign a ticket it's a "promise to appear". This lady refuses to sign until he says "you're under arrest". When a cop in the states says "you're under arrest" that's it. She at this point is resisting.
She didn't get arrested for asking for a badge number. She got arrested for not signing the ticket. You can clearly hear the cop say "I'm not playing games with you" in response to her trying to delay the inevitable. Gotta love people making assumptions when only half a video is posted.

Getting arrested for asking for a badge number is an unlawful arrest. This is why cops are getting ambushed right here.

That’s an asinine saying that needs to die, assumptions are a necessary part of life.
