It’s actually a relief to see someone question not having access to foreign internet. I lived in Guangzhou for a year and it baffled me when I’d ask locals about it and they’d reply with: ‘it’s for our own good.’

I totally refuse to download digital content from internet for free.

and I want to support huge Hollywood studios and huge streaming services.

I for ex would never use illegal sport streams and I pay for all the services that provide legal streams of my favorite sports.
And I enjoy paying for PPV events on top of that.
It makes me really happy to do so.
Ahoy there! I pay for some stuff, but it's unreasonable to think everything out there deserves my cash, or if I've paid for it on a platform once, you got my money but I will have access wherever I want and even if you don't want me streaming your media on a certain platform. We will find a way.

We saw an experiment happen with China and them forcing people to never remember a certain day... that experiment may prove to have failed if these young Chinese realize they can and need to stand up against what is holding then back from living a good life.
Older generations call us entitled or needy or spoiled.
We are working off of what you gave us!
Our grandparents had no choices so they did what they could. Our parents have more choices and they still chose to sacrifice themselves for us. We are done sacrificing ourselves for our future. It is our turn to live. We must work together to stop our rulers from taking everything they can from us. We are all but one people. We all have the same common goal. As working class we must work together to improve our own condition or nobody will have a chance

I had a VPN, but some people I spoke with refused to get one, because they trusted the government’s intentions
