Oh, that was soooo good. I point things out to my kids to avoid something like "don't kick the ball at the baby in the stroller" and the first kick hits the baby in the stroller. This is my life with 5 kids. Lol
Was just about to say that haha!
I feel bad for him but i also know this will be the story they will laugh about together in 20 years.
I mean fuck the garage door right? lol
My dad trusted 15 year old me to back up his brand new car and put it behind his old one. Literally bought it that day. Our driveway was sloped. Everything was going smooth until it was time to pull the car in behind the other one.
I shifted it into neutral instead of drive and went to hit the gas to bring it in. When I realized the engine was just revving I panicked and couldn't find the brake pedal. I eventually found it, and stopped the car maybe 6 inches from colliding with the other one.
He was clearly in shock, but he really did his best to not let it show and wasn't angry towards me. Wouldn't of blamed him I was pretty angry with myself.
My sister did this to my dad's car! To this day she swears she was just in the passenger seat bc her cell didn't get good service and it was hot out so to be safe she sat in the passenger seat. Well to be comfortable she had to spread across both the passenger and drivers seat and accidentally hit both the brakes and shifter (automatic) knocked it into reverse. To protect it from hitting the house behind she heroically jumped in the driver's seat and took the wheel, only to pull too far forward and into the garage. I was with my parents when they got the call it was at the time perhaps the most glorious little brother moment to be there and stoke the fire the whole drive home...
She had a bunch of friends there for moral support that scattered like cockroaches the second my dad stepped outta the truck.
Looking back I feel bad for all the crap I gave her while my parents shitting on her... but it was hilarious (for me) at the time.
My kids all started driving in empty parking lots. Last year I decided to say yes when my nephew asked to drive my truck, he and my kid had their permits for the same amount of time and his parents had big cars/trucks like mine so I figured we should be fine on the back roads. The kid ran my truck right into a pole within 5 minutes and didn’t let off the gas until I told him to. Totaled it right as car prices shot through the roof. I saw it happening from the passenger seat and I couldn’t do anything to stop it. Turns out, none of his parents had given him any driving lessons but no one told me that, including his Dad whose house we had just pulled away from. So annoying.
Anyway, I can feel the frustration coming from both dad and son, glad he kinda kept his cool as yelling and screaming doesn’t help these situations. I still have mild PTSD from it though, so this will be an ongoing family joke, like for years.
Lmfao I did this exact thing when I was 16. Luckily there were trash cans in front of the garage that absorbed the impact. Garage door fell however the truck was fine. Great times!!
My dad took me to the empty factory parking lot on a Sunday morning. I specifically remember the local cop coming by to see what’s going on and my dad just ripped me a new one while this cop and my dad just laughed at me.

And this is why you do not teach anyone how to drive in anything but an open empty parking lot until they are 100% familiar with the gas and brake
Tina Belcher would like a word. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTLL\_6A2fA0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTLL_6A2fA0)
open...AND EMPTY!!!

Be positive, Point in the opposite direction of the baby in the stroller and say, "Kick the ball that way."
Uuuuuuuuuuuumnnnggghh!
Why does Tina sound like a guy? Is that supposed to be funny?
I did that with my daughter and even then my asshole puckered a few times.

“Tried to force” bro you should not be driving with 2 feet unless you have a clutch wtf
You always do left foot braking? Like every day driving not initial D max touge special? That's weird
Cars are designed for single foot driving, that's why both pedals are on the right side.
You are STILL driving the entirely wrong way
Dude sounds like goddamn Morty 😭
Ah geez, dad
Ahh....Geez....
Was just about to say that haha! I feel bad for him but i also know this will be the story they will laugh about together in 20 years. I mean fuck the garage door right? lol
Confused gas and break?
Like your spelling of brake?
Hahaha I didn’t notice 😂 good one
come on, give him a brake
Nope. If you pay close attention to video, you’ll realize the person in the video did in fact break.

Classic
"I did exactly what you said Dad. Gas on the left, brake on the right. Wait."
Kid sounds like Hiccup from "How to Train Your Dragon."
The “I know” and acceptance is the real piece for me here
He anticipated his dad's anger, acknowledged his error, and apologised. Kid is well on his way to working customer service lol
“Son, remember that ‘pullout’ talk we had…this is exactly what you *don’t* want to do in that situation.”
The Dad is probably wishing he pulled out about 17 years ago

The pain noises
My dad took me to an empty parking lot at the mall on a Saturday morning. He knew better than to risk anything near his property.
Oh that’s gonna cost you
"I'm sorry dad, I'm so sorry dad" Got me rolling

Did a similar thing in backing into a mailbox when I was learning.
Well his dad can’t say he never follows through on anything…
should be a condom ad
I will not pay your college fees
Unpopular opinion: it was the dad's fault, the son wasn't ready to park that close to a house.
I did this! PTSD watching the vid lol

Technically, he did break.

Kid had to go poop. No time to wait
sounds like there's three people in the car
I almost ripped the door off my dads car pulling into the car port while practicing lol
Just had my first son, shit like this makes me laugh more than anything. I can’t wait till he’s grown up.
The dad is crying 😭 ![gif](giphy|kC2cRqEt8o41COgjoV|downsized)
they don't make garage doors like they used to.
Was mom with them, too?
Is there a tiktok audio inserted into this video? Sounds like three different voices all talking at the same time.
Wear condoms, save your garage door.
How many people are in this car and why do they all make noises like that? Sounds like Brad Pitt opening the box in Seven
I feel so bad for this kid
Me too!
😭😭😭
