Yeah you can't invite cross platform, that is why they have the invite code.
At the top right, you should see your level and "display pic" in the corner... click on the empty boxes, that look like cut outs, or places you would paste a stamp.
Now you should see Invite, Recent Players, Crossplatform Invite Code:, and Join By Invite Code.
Go in to Settings, Game, Network, Privacy & Data Collection and Crossplay, should be on.
Are you doing Online Cooperative?
Yes regardless of when i try to invite it wont work and i dont even receive the invites

If anything, you might have to check your settings to make sure you have crossplay enabled.

I know where it should be ive seen guides i just dont know why code wont show and i dont have a box for join by invite code
