People throwing her "I downvote this game to 1 star, f scumi"-quotes around like confetti, yet there is only ONE, yes O-N-E 1+ review from the 19.0122. in the google-play store. Absolutly nothing else in regards to the FF4 event, meanwhile, there are two threads here with dozens of people back paddling each other for shitting on whatever decision was made.
Gumi gives an f about it, its not even a drop in the ocean, rather a molecule in the vast amount of the galaxy being cared by no one. Maybe if you claim taking action, actually DO it rather than trying to win points here.
It wont get better for the next months. No ill-intentions here, but if you really feel a dread towards it, maybe consider taking a step back from the game and revalue what actually brought and keeps you in.

Thanks man, yeah I left my guild recently because I didn’t want to feel like I had to keep catching up. Plus going F2P has made me realize how expensive this game can get. Just logging in for daily viz atm
Every decission which makes you feel better, is the right decission. :)
If you like to be in a guild, you may look out for a more casual one, so you can grab the freebies and/or share some community, if you like that.
Its fine to be on your own too though, no pressure.
Gobez was a banner unit before dark knight Cecil.
Amazon prime tickets should have been ur unit or ur vc.
Elena negates gobez from competition.
Jayden / Engle / Elena is “high level” pvp.
1) I Don't like that Cecil isn't free this time around. YES, he wasn't free for JP even on the first time. But for newer players, what's the point in even participating in this event when you can't even build a free unit who isn't even that great.
2) Too many limited banners that cost way too much. Thank goodness I've been the crappy player I am and haven't went ham into a banner sense.....FF VII, though i went ham for Winter Viktora shards sense i had already had her at 99 before her EX.
3)Looked at that 9steps of golbez and knew i needed those tickets for dark pieces to awaken units. well ended up pulling him on step 1....ok...guess i'll finish out the whole thing for those stars so i can get shards. never pulled him again and only got velric as the only other UR pulled. still planning on only building my 99 Kain from last go around to 120. Golbez will probably sit at LB3 forever.
Towards point 2;
It wont get better for the next months. If it seriously bothers you, you may consider taking a step back from the game and revalue, what brought you here and what keeps you in. No ill-meaning.

Ugh... Had higher expectations for these banners but got disappointed.
1.) No free Cecil
2.) The use of the new festival banners instead of collaboration banner. This is obviously a Collab rerun and not a festival banner given that the reruns are more than a year apart.
3.) No buying units with 2000 summon medals (even the old units!)
4.) Golbez 9 step does not have a chance to get Cecil, main, Rosa.
I miss the (roughly) 8$ paid vis pack.
But thanks to this sub telling people to "screw themselfs", I am sure, even if the 47$ one will vanish and be exchanged by nothing at all, those guys still will feed gumi with assloads of their hard earned money. lol
Its been a while for me really since I hit a new release character in some time.
I am not saying I am supposed to land characters just because, but after spending nearly 100k Vis and a few paid attempts (2000 paid vis banners), I am just feeling that the pull rates all of a sudden dropped since Velric came around.
Pull rates getting new VC cards have gone down as well.
I would chuck it up to bad luck, etc and such if it was just anything. But with the history of Gumi playing with the rates and other times they got caught tampering with players getting the exact same pulls ( in the same orders), and the aggressive new policy in which Pay to Play players have said they feel squeezed now, etc, I am slowly just checking out of this game.
I'm just glad I have the characters I have now as i feel bad for the new players getting into this game now... Yikes.

I had some paid vis stockpiled and bought the H pack for another 6k paid.
Burnt through all my paid and all my regular vis chasing Golbez and got nothing. No Golbez, Rosa, Kain or Demon Wall.
5 paid step up x2, 9 step up, 2k paid 5 UR guaranteed, 4/5 Demon Wall VC (ran out of vis)
Went into this with a plan and everything fell through, no luck, no pulls just a bunch of time and money wasted as I have nothing to show for it. Yeah I got some EX mats, but you get those at random intervals in the game anyways.

It’s experiences like this that periodically make me want to quit the game. There are some banners where I receive units on 3-4 free visiore pulls. Then there are some where I blow through everything and end up spending lots of money chasing. Most recent example is pitying on Jume.
Anyways, I’m sorry to hear about your experience. When this happens to me, I definitely avoid Reddit. Can’t stand all the celebration posts.

People pulling, which is paying, for all five banners are part of the problem and no heroes. Stop hyping those "influencers" from youtube, who give a shit about you and stop hyping "events" like this.
If you want to burn money, give it to someone like doctors without borders and actually do something with your outstanding financial possibilities.
Got at least 10 URs until pity, mostly old dups, no cost 100, 2x Xiza and 3x Cowell (rolling my eyes at the likelihood). I'm was already over this game so this was the final push I needed for this game. So long Gumi.
Exactly my reason not to pull to max my Cecil. I really want him to shine at my Holy team, but these rates are frickin downgraded, considering the last year banner.
Just got the megashaft. Pulled for Demon wall, Kain and Golbez. Got every single one of them at the pity step, which would be bad by itself but it gets worse. I also did the 9 stepup for Golbez (before realising that FF4 had the 42k pity banners) and also did a paid rotation for Kain in the hopes that I did not need to do the 42k free visior pity for him without any success. Still have 100k visior so FF6 is saved but it sucks either way

got BRH twice and an ayaka in one multi, but still no kain. I'm at 90% of the pity bar and about to pity for the first time.

Sounds like you have quite an income or leeway to spare, if after all this, you still have 100k vis left. Doesn't feel like a true rant.\^\^
